Like animals were we treated...

Some of us had been Kings and Queens...

Now!!!

Less than livestock are we  treated...

From the golden coast...

Through the the Middle Passage...

Straight into the depths of living hell we do now travel...

Leaving behind family, friends and lives...

Thrown into the frey of the enslaved!!!

No longer human...

Instantly transformed into creatures with status and stature less than that of any common field beast...

Stolen...

Sold...

Traded into slavery!!!

Shackled...

Starved...

Beaten into submission!!!

How can one human treat another human so inhumanely???

How can an entire people stand idly by for three hundred years, witness to such atrocities???

Is there anyway, that anyone can realistically not be abhorred by such cruelty???

I sailed the ocean blue...

Fortunately for me...

I sailed in the 20th century or my ship ahoy adventure may well have been a ship of hell adventure!!!
