My phone began ringing. It was Daffine. She told me how she suddenly got called in by a professor and he just left her. I told her it was okay. I was happy to hear her voice again. I told her how fun it was, and how nice it would have been if she was there.

"I wanted to introduce you to my mom," I told her.
"We can meet up sometime soon,"
"How about this Sunday? Would you be free this Sunday or would you leave me stranded again?"
"No, I'll be there. I promise,"
"My place; noon; we'll play games"
"Done"

When Sunday approached, I cleaned my room thoroughly. I even got Glen and George to clean it with me. George left after we were done clean. I had bribed him with some beer. Glen was more difficult to get rid of. He just wouldn't leave. He said he wanted to play the game with me too. So, I just let him be and then he called Angela there too. Great, my plan to spend time alone with Daffine is ruined.

Daffine was there on time. We all sat on my bed and Glen sat on the sofa. Angela brought cookies with her. My mom got us a milkshake. Glen and Angela played while Daffine and I just watched. Soon, Glen asked if we had any orange juice. Mom told him that we did;t have any. So, he decided to go to the convenience store and Daffine went after him to buy some Cola for herself.

Angela and I just sat and played the game.

"Your friend Daffine, do you like her?" Angela asked.
"Yeah, why?"
"I don't like Daffine,"
"Why? I think she's cool. You should talk to her, you'll like her," I said as I continued playing the game.

"Yeah, that's why I don't like her. She's a very interesting person...and I'm not. And if you get close to her, you'll start finding me boring,"
"That's so strange, Angela. You would be my best friend, regardless of whoever else I talk to," I smiled at her and she smiled back, her cheeks holding a gentle flush over them.

Fuck Glen though. I wanted to have a nice time with Daffine. Now he's got Angela on me and he took Daffine away.
"Do you want to take the blue character? I like the green one," Angela asked me.
"Absolutely not. Take the blue one, you know I always pick green!"
"Well, can't you make a little exception for me?!"
"No!"

Angela and I sat in front of the computer. She was enjoying the game and so I was but... I had bought this one to play with Daff. She hadn't even played it once. I would play it with her once she was back.
