Before You Read

I've always taken inspiration from the failures in my life; failed friendships, failed relationships, of everything that should've been achieved in a Beautifully Dark shimmer... but for this one time, while intoxicated in Daze, Vermillion hue, I wondered what it would be like to finally peek into the delicate moments of my happiness, of beautiful things as they are and as they could be. Away from everything that I have loved, to everything that I love. To all that I wanted. To memories. To visions of dazzling smiles in faraway futures. To rows of dandelions in cemented pavements. 

From dancing in loose dresses; to scrubbing all the makeup running down my fading visage in a dirty mirror. Because the boy I loved didn't love me back. And so, in empty bathrooms or crowded subways, I'd close my eyes and imagine him say; with his chin resting on his silver rings, and his eyes gazing low,
