When Michael does see him again, Gavin's got himself into trouble again. But will Michael be able to handle everything while keeping himself and Gavin alive?
Over the years, I've realized you never know what's gonna happen in Los Santos. I've seen a variety of obscene shit that you'd be surprised for why I'm still sane.
Of course, that doesn't compare to when you're apart of the shit that happens around here.
I've been apart of numerous crimes that happen in Los Santos. I've robbed banks, killed people, blown up cars, and even made a few friends along the way.
Today was just a regular day.
Or so I thought.
I walked along the overused and filthy sidewalk. People stood along the walls of the buildings surrounding me, some calling me out and flirting with me. I rolled my eyes and continued along my way.
I was supposed to meet up with Geoff Ramsey for the planning of a heist. My car unfortunately was impounded by the cops and I hadn't had a chance to steal it back yet.
I took in a breath of the musty Los Santos air. Cigarettes, car exhaust, sweat, and vomit was what I could smell in the filthy air.
Sometimes I wished I didn't live the life I lived. Sometimes I wished I wasn't so tied up with Geoff and his crew so I could leave. Sometimes I wished I could relive my entire life so I could fix every mistake I made.
But that was wishful thinking. And that got me nowhere.
I stopped dead in my tracks when I heard the pop of a pistol. My hand lingered at my waist where my own pistol was. People around me started screaming and running in the opposite direction.
I stood my ground.
Geoff and Jack had trained me for these types of situations. They told me never to run from a fight. To take every chance I had.
I was sure as hell not gonna pass up this one.
I heard the sound of police sirens and I dashed across the street and stood up against the bank's brick wall. I pulled my pistol out and checked the ammo, feeling satisfied when I saw there was plenty. I held my gun up and made my way into the building.
I pointed my gun only to see lots of people on the ground, cowering. The bank teller held her hands up higher and started crying.
I looked to my left to see a waiting pistol held up to my head.
"This is my score, mate. Bugger off," I heard a heavily accented voice say.
I tried my best not to giggle at the choice of words, but my humor got the best of me and I let out a tiny chuckle.
"Bugger off? Really. I'd expect someone with such high confidence to at least say fuck off," I smirked, pressing my own pistol to his stomach.
"Now, this can go one of two ways. You can kill me, and end up getting killed by my crew. Or you can let me help you, and you can give me half the cut. How does that sound, mate?" I asked, mocking his accent at the end.
I felt the shift in atmosphere. He suddenly didn't see me as an enemy, more like a friend or ally. He took the gun off my head, making me realize he probably trusted more than he should, especially since I remained with my pistol to his stomach.
I got a good look at him for the first time since I walked in. He was blonde, and had a rather large nose, but he was still exceptionally handsome. He made the mistake of not wearing a mask, but how could I blame him when I wasn't wearing one either.
I turned away from him, pointing my gun at the bank teller.
"All the money, now," I growled to her. I turned to my newest accomplice and made a gesture to the people. He understood immediately and pointed his pistol at all of them, saying things to scare them.
I turned back to the bank teller and when I realized how slow she was going, I shot a round into the ceiling.
"Come on, I don't have all day!" I yelled at her, making her cry and pick up the pace.
My accomplice watched me with interest as I swiftly took the money and rounded him back.
I followed him back outside, where the cops had just begun to show up. We dashed to his getaway car, an armored kuruma. I nodded in approval and got into the drivers seat, throwing the money in the sandy haired man's direction.
We sped off, the cops following our tails. The Brit shot a round out the window and to my surprise, didn't miss a single shot. Within the hour, we lost all the cops and drove around Los Santos for a little while.
I had gotten to know the Brit very well during the little heist we pulled. His name was Gavin and he recently moved to the area looking for some jobs. When some things happened with his former crew he had to go into hiding and change his last name to escape them. He explained he chose Free since he was finally free to do as he pleased.
"You know, I have a crew that could really use a sharpshooter like you. You ever think about joining another crew?" I asked him, looking sideways at him.
"I have but I kinda like working on my own. I get more of the cuts and stuff. But, I might have to think about your offer, Michael," Gavin smiled to me which made me smile and blush back.
I eventually had to bid Gavin farewell. He tried to give me half the cut, like I requested but I told him I'd only accept 30% and no more, which was about 43,000 dollars.
After that, I didn't see much of him. I suspected he went into hiding so the police didn't catch him. But still, I constantly reminded myself of how stupid I was not to ask for his number.
The day that I finally did see him again, I kinda wished I hadn't.
I was driving around Los Santos, causing mayhem and destruction. I took a moment to admire the scenery of Los Santos before I saw a helicopter.
Coming right for me.
I quickly sped up and moved out of the way just in time for the helicopter to miss me. I angrily got out of my car, getting ready to murder whoever almost killed me.
But when I saw that sandy blonde hair and laughable big nose exit the chopper, I found myself gawking at him.
"Gavin?" I yelped out. Gavin turned his emerald gaze on me and his expression instantly brightened.
"What luck! You wouldn't be up for another heist by any chance, would you?" He asked me, smirking all the while.
I raised an eyebrow at him. Of course, I wasn't gonna deny him help, but I also didn't want to come across as easy to get.
"Depends on how much you're willing to pay me," I said cockily. I honestly could care less about the money. His company was payment enough for me.
"How about we split it even. Half and half," Gavin offered. I nodded and shook his hand before loading into the chopper next to him.
"You should probably let me fly. You aren't the greatest at flying, you know," I told him, shoving him out of the pilots seat.
"And what makes you think you're any better?" He asked me smugly, but I could see the amusement in his eyes.
"Because I'm a pilot and I'm usually the one to fly the planes and choppers with my crew," I told him, winking.
I started the helicopter easily and quickly ascended it into the air. I pushed it forward and we went zipping through the air at an incredible speed. Gavin pulled out his phone and wiggled it towards me.
"That crew you were talking about? I could use their help," Gavin smirked. I eyed him and called Ray and Ryan to help out.
Along the way, we picked up Ray and Ryan and began making our way to humane labs. Gavin explained the mission over his headset about what was going to happen and what parts we were going to take.
Ryan and Ray were gonna stay in the chopper and hold off the cops while Gavin and I parachuted down and broke into the labs.
So that's what happened.
I landed pretty nicely on the ground, followed closely by Gavin. The power was out in the entire lab which meant night vision was required.
I looked to him for the signal to blow up the doors and when he gave it, I threw a grenade at the door with ease. It blew up the door nicely, and Gavin and I made our way inside.
We took down the guards easily with no cuts or bruises. We had ventured deep into the labs but Gavin had made his way through it with ease.
He quickly whipped out a key card and tossed me one. We pushed them in simultaneously and the doors opened, allowing us access to the files. Gavin quickly entered the code and out came the files that would make us rich.
But we didn't have much time to celebrate. Gavin shoved the file into his pocket and quickly made his way to the elevator, with me following closely behind.
When the doors opened again, more guards assaulted us. We picked them off easily, and continued making our way through the lab, killing off whatever guards got in our way.
When we made it to the water, Gavin looked excitedly at me. We decided to take a quick break, knowing Ryan and Ray were okay and could use one as well.
"We have the file. Which means we have the money," Gavin squealed excitedly. I smiled at his excitement, falling deeper into the forbidden feeling I had tried to force myself to forget about.
"I know," Was all I said.
"You know, this is all thanks to you. If you had never helped me with that bank heist, I probably wouldn't be here. I had been meaning to see if you would do more jobs with me but I never got around to asking," Gavin blushed, making me wonder if there was more meaning behind those words.
"Oh really? Well, you should've called me up. I would've been there in a heartbeat," I told him, stepping closer to him. Gavin looked up and blushed a darker shade, making me positive that he liked me just as much as I liked him.
Until I felt a pain shoot through my heart.
No not the heartbroken pain. Real pain. Like... The pain you feel when...
I've been shot.
I collapsed backward, barely missing the water. Blood already began to gush out of the bullet wound and I found myself struggling to breath, to function, to do anything.
There was a chink in the armor. Every fucking time there is always a chink.
Gavin quickly killed off my assassin and crouched down next to me. He took my hand tightly in his and screamed. I could barely hear it. Everything was quickly fading around me.
"No! No this can't be happening! This is unfair! Why!" I made out what he said for a movement before it all became white noise.
For the last five minutes of my life, Gavin poured his heart out to me. That he liked me, loved me even. That he wished he had just found Geoff and gotten my number so he could try dating again. He cried, and rested his head on my blood soaked vest, whispering 'Please don't go's and 'I love you's here and there.
As I felt my eyes get much to heavy to carry on opening. I whispered my final words to the man I had fallen for, literally.
"Team Nice Dynamite, my boi. Team Nice Dynamite."

So, I kinda based this on a Let's Play. Except I flipped the rolls Gavin and Michael played with Ray and Ryan and vise versa.
So a little fake AH crew for you guys. Or something like that. I really hope you guys enjoyed this. I have a ton of ideas for future one shots... I just gotta get around to writing them.
If you liked this one shot, let me know. If you find anything that I should improve, please let me know! I love criticism, bad or good.
Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed!
