The sulfuric air burned your lungs, a sharp contrast to the ice-cold bars of your cage. From the Fearamid, you had a front seat to the horror Gravity Falls was insnared in. Burning homes, tortured screams of innocents, and the streets littered with bodies of the dead turned to stone. It was literal hell on earth.

And it was all your fault.

Bill grinned with pointed teeth from his throne of human agony, enjoying the view of the pain he had caused. His single amber eye glittered in the infinite twilight. "Isn't this great, Y/N?  There's nothing quite like the sound of a screaming human right before they're killed."

You turned away.  "You're a monster."

He poked your cage, making it sway and causing you to fall on the bars below.  "So what if I am, princess?  What does that make you, the cause of all of this madness?"

Traitor. Murderer. Puppet.  You grit your teeth but didn't answer him. Bill was right, and you knew it. If you hadn't screwed up, none of this would've happened.  Because you couldn't say no, all of your hometown was suffering.

You failed.  You had one job: kill Bill Cipher. And you couldn't do it.

Your reflection on the cage bars mocked you, showing what you had become. You wore a fancy black evening dress and gloves, Bill had even gone so far as to craft a silver tiara for your head, too tight to take off and razor sharp at every edge. You were his queen, his prisoner.

"Take in the madness. It's all for you, doll. I've been planning this for a long, long time. It's so satisfying to see it finally come together after one trillion years of waiting."

You ignored his insults and stared into the burning horizon, numb and empty. Mabel's bubble sparkled in the distance, the only glittering thing in the apocalypse. Your stomach tied itself into knots. Mabel had trusted you, befriended you, even though she knew there was something you wasn't telling her. And you had repaid her with blood and death. At least you knew she was happy in her prison.

And as for Dipper... you wished you could turn back the clock and make things right with him. You had never truly trusted each other, and this was the price to pay.  Thankfully, Bill's minions hadn't caught up with him yet.  You knew they wouldn't be as easy on him as they were with his sister.

Suddenly, the aquamarine demon, Keyhole, sprinted into the fearamid, panting and out of breath. "B-Bill!  I apologize, Your Terribleness, but the Pine Tree has escaped.  I-I take full responsibility for the mishap-"

"That won't be necessary," Bill interrupted icily.  His golden eye deepened to blood red and he snapped his fingers.

Keyhole seemed to lose control of his body, jerking wildly before freezing up and falling to the ground as a lifeless obsidian statue.

"He always got on my nerves, anyways."  Bill examined his fingernails and propped his feet on the armrest, indifferent to the grotesque sculpture he had made.

Dread creeped down your spine as you attempted to comprehend what he had done. He had murdered one of his most devout supporters in cold blood, simply because he delivered news Bill didn't want to hear. The man you had grown to love was a psychotic killer.

"I want no part of this, Bill! I resign as Queen. I can't deal with the demon you've become." You struggled to pull the knifelike crown off your head, but only succeeded in cutting your fingers on the fine ends. The blood slowly dripped from your tiara and onto your face, trickling down your cheeks like tears.

Bill froze and slowly turned to face you. Rage was written over his face, and his entire form darkened, like he was filling up with pure shadow. He rose up in front of your cage, forcing you to look him in his golden eye. "I'm afraid that isn't an option, dearest." He shoved his hands through the bars and grabbed your neck. "When you made the deal, you gave up your choice in the matter."

You struggled against Bill's unrelenting grip on your throat, gasping for air like a stranded fish. Spots danced in your eyes as you ran out of oxygen. "B-Bill... you're h-hurting me..."

"Does it look like I give a damn?! You chose to be my queen, and it's a lifetime commitment. And since time is meaningless now, " He pulled you close, face aglow with a sadistic smile, "you'll just have to rule by my side forever."

Bill suddenly released his grip, dropping you hard onto the gilded bars below. "Consider that your warning, doll. If there's a next time, I won't be so merciful."

You rubbed your neck, silently wheezing for air. You gave him the deadliest glare you could manage in your pitiful state but said nothing.

As Bill floated serenely back to his throne, you couldn't help but curl into a ball. This was what you had been reduced to. A monster's favorite pet.

You clenched your teeth in anger as you felt hot tears form in your eyes. When had your life gotten so screwed up? When you made the deal? When the twins and you chose different sides? No, if you was being honest with yourself, it started long before that. The summer of 2017, when you first met Dipper and Mabel Pines, started the beginning of the end of the world.
