'Saber' was in hyperspace on its way to the secret base of the man of Illusion. They managed to get the coordinates of the base , where the leader of the Cerberus organization is located. Kira occupied the pilot's seat , Eli in Shepard's room. Matteo were looking for information on Cerberus.

"According to my data. Cerberus is a pro-human organization dedicated to strengthening the position of the human race in the galaxy. Unfortunately they are doing wrong - more I would say , they use evil methods to achieve their goals - massive corruption of governments , planting their people in the governments of other planets , illegal research , development of various technologies , o they even have their own private military. I have discovered that they use other races as slaves to, for example, extract raw materials and minerals. They break every law that exists," she explained making a surprised face.

Matteo sighed "Do we know who their leader is?"

"The Illusion Man" - Rosalia began - A mysterious gentleman who likes to drink whiskey and smoke cigarettes in large quantities. I know , he has eye implants that match his hair. The closest co-worker is Miranda Lawson - a genetically engineered woman from scratch. She is as loyal as a gardener's dog. Man Illusion trusts only her. I learned something interesting.

"What's that?" Shepard asked.

"They have a very large budget-more than yours or any country on Earth. They have many successful experiments - resurrecting people , rebuilding cells , regenerating lost limbs , and creating their own people sensitive to the Force."

"Da fuck?" Matteo responded. Rosalia showed him the design that Cerberus had made. He already knew that the mission would be much more difficult. Shit!

"Are we retreating?" The AI looked at him giving him a slightly saddened look.

"No , we can't. He feels , this is something bigger - some bigger puzzle," he took out a list of names. He then unbuckled his lightsaber from his belt and ignited it. He cut the list in half - the paper burned. Shepard finally saw through it. That's when Kira connected with Matt.

"I'm coming out of hyperspace" She informed . Matt decided this time not to go to the cockpit and look at something in front of his ship. The Force prompted him , that he would receive a call from his enemy. And so it happened - the Illusion Man contacted him. As always, he was sitting in his chair , smoking a cigarette. His blue eyes were directed toward Shepard.

"Hello Commander. Nice to see you after so many years," he greeted. Matteo snorted.

"What do you want?"

"What you - to achieve peace in the galaxy and show humanity what it is capable of" The Cerberus leader answered.

"I don't recall , being racist and enslaving other races. Is that what it says in the Chosen One prophecy? Because I don't fucking remember." Matteo said laughing a little under his breath - humor momentarily took hold of him. The Illusion man croaked.

"You don't understand Shepard - just like you I'm fighting for a better galatics. Ever since the Empire came into being I've been trying to help others as best I can." - He explained. Matteo almost laughed.

"Nonsense! You only save people you racist bastard! I have a piece of advice for you - you'd better bunker down in that office of yours or thereabouts in the big room overlooking the star. Because I'm going to storm in there with full force and cut myself in half with my lightsaber. Peace brotha!" Matty hung up . He turned around and saw Eli Henderson - he had finished his meditation. Shepard approached him.

"Eli , get ready - before long we will be in the belly of the beast" He said. Henderson nodded. Kira flew into the hangar and landed. Matt and Eli stood in front of the ramp

"Ey Eli," Matt called out and held out his clenched fist, "Homies 4 life?"

"Homies 4 life" Eli nailed a fist bump with Shepard. The ramp lowered - they both exited the ship.

After exiting the ship, Matteo and Eli saw the right hand of Cerberus leader Miranda Lawson. Behind her were several soldiers. With her natural blue eyes, she looked at the guys.

"The Boss invites you," was all she said. Matteo said in his head 'What the fuck?" and grabbed his lightsaber and let go - he and Henderson decided to go after her - it was time to meet the leader of the Cerberus.

Upon arriving at the site, Miranda and her men left them. Matteo and Eli saw the Illusive Man standing in front of the window and looking at the stars. Instead of a cigarette, he had a glass of Whiskey. He took a sip and turned to the newcomers.

"At last we come face to face Commander Shepard. How nice to see you again."

"And to me you are not. I came to kill you - here and now. It's time to end your supremacy. " Matteo muttered while reaching for his lightsaber. The Illusion Man didn't care - he looked as if he had already resigned himself to his fate. He decided to speak - to use a big argument.

"And what I would tell you , that the Asari Order is using you to distract you. They are using your will and strength for their own purposes."

"That's impossible. That would be too stupid. Even for them," Matteo denied.

"And yet it's true. They attacked my people and dug up a map to another galaxy. If they decipher the map , the Asari will be able to bring massive weapons from another galaxy - the so-called Peridea.

"You think , that will convince me. These arguments of yours are of no use." Matteo muttered again while igniting his lightsaber.

"You're wrong," the Illusive Man said. Then there was an alarm - someone had attacked the base. The Cerberus leader walked to his chair and turned on his communicator : "What's going on there?"

"Sir. Asari warriors attacked the base. They killed our scientists. Their ship destroyed our cannons. We are losing a lot of people. What should we do?" The captain asked.

"Keep fighting" The illusive man hung up. Matteo had had enough of this circus. He drew his enemy with the Force and cut him in half on the fly. After killing him , Matt deactivated his lightsaber and left the room.

Upon exiting the room, Matt and Eli saw a massacre - a mass of Cerberus soldiers had been killed. Miranda Lawson was nailed to the wall with numerous knives. Shepard and Henderson went on and went down to the hangar. There, Asari warriors and several hired bounty hunters were waiting for them.

"Mother Ne'rra wants to thank you," said one of the female warriors. Matteo activated his lightsaber and aimed it at the female warrior.

" So I will repay you in advance" After these Matteo together with Eli moved on the warrioresses , mercenaries and bounty hunters. They took them down one by one. Asari as well as bounty hunters fell easily from lightsaber cuts. The last female warrior tried to escape , but Matteo attracted her with the Force and beheaded her in the air. After the fight, Matt and Eli switched off their lightsabers.

"What's next?" Eli asked. Matt looked at him.

"Listen me kid , it's my fault - I got you into this mess and now I have a chance to free you from it. I made a mistake , talking about power and other shit." - He put his hand on his shoulder - "Fly , there is a fighter. Forget about what I told you. Live your life , find your sister , be a Jedi- I know you will become one of the best. I believe in you kid. " He said. Eli looked down and then up and nodded. He went to the fighter , started the engines and flew out of the hangar. Ships of bounty hunters , mercenaries and Asari did not shoot him down - they waited for Shepard to fly out. Matt having all his armor in the blood of enemies. He entered the 'Saber. He noticed that Kira was not there - he called out to her several times but she did not respond. It turned out that the Asari warriors had kidnapped her. So Matteo sat at the controls of his ship and flew out of the hangar.

After flying out of the hangar, numerous enemy ships attacked Shepard. Rosalia activated the field and numerous firing systems. The cannon took out the ships one by one. But the Asari fighters fired several ion torpedoes damaging the ship. Rosalia - the ship's AI suffered severely. Systems began to fail , but that was not the only problem - it turned out that the Asari , when they kidnapped Kira installed viruses in Rosalia's system. The AI was forced to fight them. She defeated them but suffered greatly. Matteo switched to autopilot and used the Power of Biotics to create a field that would shield them from destroying the ship. Matteo told Rosala to enter Thessi's coordinates. The woman nodded and entered the coordinates. They then entered hyperspace leaving the enemies behind.
