Going against the devil: Part 2
Warnings: SMUT, crap ton of angst, Whole lot of sexual tension, all that good stuff,
5 years ago
It had been over a year since you and Matt had been dating, and things had never been better in your life.
You where on your way to graduating along with Matt, Foggy, and Darcy, you had applied for 3 internship positions and had gotten 2 of them, and you where moving in with Matt in the next few weeks in an apartment you bought together in Hells Kitchen. To say things couldn't get better would be the truth.
Matt groaned groggily as he felt you move against him. You where wrapped tightly in between his arms as he held you close to his chest. The night before had been your one year anniversary and Matt was more then eager to treat you to a fancy dinner, plenty of drinks, and well other things...
Matt groaned against your back as your hips moved around. The morning sun shone through cheep dark blue curtains that barely kept out any light, making the evidence of summer become much more apparent by the feeling of the heat.
"Morning." Matt said groggily as he pressed his lips to the inside of your neck, placing small butterfly kisses all along the side.
You smiled at the small touch, "Good morning."
Your hands intertwined with one another as you reached them out to stretch your arms. Matt was still holding you close to him, despite your movement. You flipped over to your other side, seeing Matt resting on his elbows as he smiled in your direction.
"Why are you smiling like that, Murdock?" You questioned, placing your hand on his face as your thumb toyed with his lip.
"I'm just thinking of how beautiful you must look right now." He said simply, "I wish I could see you." He said, pressing his lips to your forehead as you nestled into his chest.
"I'm flattered you think I wake up after sex looking like a model." You joked. "But sadly I look a bit like a wreck."
You and Matt both laughed together before the sound of your phone chiming caught your attention. You groaned at the noise, reaching over and grabbing your phone from Matt's side of the bed.
"Who's texting you this early in the morning?" Matt questioned, placing his arm on your back.
You turned your phone on, "I don't know, probably just Darcy telling me it's safe to come in the room and that Foggy isn't ass naked-" You sat up quickly, sending your hand to your mouth. "Holy fuck."
"What?" Matt questioned nervously, "What is it?"
"Oh nothing bad." You said with a large smile, "I just uh-" You scratched the back of your neck. "My parents wanted me to apply for this internship in California and I-" You laughed. "I got it."
"Who was the internship for?" Matt asked.
"Smith and Michaelson." You said, reading through the email they had sent.
"Smith and Michaelson?" Matt questioned, sitting up quickly. "Your talking about the multi- million dollar firm that ever so rarely accepts law students?"
You shook your head excitedly, "Yeah." You smiled widely. "Yeah that one."
"Oh my God, Y/N." He said proudly, grabbing you and pulling you in for a hug as you wrapped your hands around his neck. "That's amazing, I'm so proud of you." He said joyfully as he pressed kisses down your shoulder.
He pulled back, his smile slightly fading.
"What?" You questioned nervously, "Why do you have that look?"
"What look?" Matt said, trying to keep the mood up.
"You have a look, I'm not stupid Matt." You said, bringing your hands to his face as you moved hair from his forehead. "What's going on in that head of yours?"
Matt took a deep breath, "I accepted that internship at Landman and Zach." He shrugged, "I just kinda figured we would both stay in New York."
You realized what he was worried about, and he had good reason. Neither of you had ever accepted the idea of long distance, nor had you ever even spoken about it.
A frown formed around your lips, "Well uh-" You grabbed his hands. "We can always do long distance. The internship is just for a year so I can get some experience then I'll be back in New York before you know it."
"Yeah, just for a year." Matt repeated, more for himself then for you.
A smile overtook your face as you wrapped your arms around Matt's neck again, squeezing him tightly in a hug as you squealed like a child.
You pulled back at the sound of your phone once again. Looking down, you rolled your eyes.
"And that was Darcy telling me Foggy is no longer a threat to my eyes." You said, pressing a kiss to Matt's lips as you stood up.
"So soon?" Matt questioned. "I was gonna treat you to some coffee and morning sex." He said, standing up as he threw some sweatpants on.
You grabbed your shirt from the night before, throwing it over your head and putting one leg and then the other into your jeans.
"As much as that offer sounds amazing, I have a class at 7:30." You pulled up your pants fully as you buttoned them. "But I'm free for dinner tonight if you wanna come over. I'll tell Darcy to stay with Foggy for the night and we can stay at my place and order pizza."
"That sounds great." Matt said as he walked over, placing his hands under your hair as he pulled you in for one final kiss. "Now go before I drag you back into bed with me."
You chuckled, "I'll call you after I'm done for the day." You opened the door, looking back. "Love you, Matt."
"Love you too, Y/N." He said with a smile.
When the door closed, Matt's smile quickly faded. He placed his hands in his pockets, walking over to his dresser as he began to get ready for the day.
2 days later
"Ladies and gentlemen of the jury I would like you to think for a moment about yourselves, your families, your friends, anyone in your life you who love and care for." You said walking back and fourth, "Tell me, what would you do to protect them? To keep them out of harms way of a monster like Mason Rose. Would you plead a murderer, a man who has killed a mother, a son, and a daughter innocent?" You took a deep breath. "Or guilty?"
Jackson clapped his hands in the seat of his desk, leaning back into the chair as the streetlight from out front shone in on his face. Another late night of creating a case, knowing the next two days would be pure hell with no sleep in sight.
The case against Mason Rose had gone well so far. You had gotten enough information to build a strong case against him, enough witness information, background charges of assault, and security footage from outside the home the night the family was murdered.
Still, despite how well things where going your mind was occupied with the thought of one thing. One dreadful, horrible thing.
Matt.
Ever since you had seen him at Josie's that night, you couldn't get him out of your head. Memories of you and him flooded your brain despite the anger you still had towards him. You had refused to have anything to drink the past couple nights, afraid that if you where to get drunk you would make the mistake of calling him.
"Are you sure it didn't sound too hero-ey." You said, walking over to your note sheet as you closed it up, placing it in your bag. "I want to sound like a real lawyer, not a suck up."
"You don't sound like a suck up, believe me." Jackson chuckled, standing up. "You got any plans tonight?" He asked, grabbing his jacket off the back of his chair.
"Darcy asked if I wanted to grab a drink with her." You saw the concern on Jacksons face, "-A drink. Not plural, just one." You pointed, throwing your bag over your shoulder.
"It's you, there's never just one drink." He said, throwing his coat on. "Just do me a favor and don't get drunk and call Murdock. You've been clean of him for almost six years and I would like to keep it that way."
You chuckled, "I'm not gonna call him. Besides, even if I did I doubt he would even pick up-let alone do anything."
"Take it from a guy," he said stepping closer. "If my ex looked like you, and she called me telling me she was horny and in need of sex, I wouldn't hesitate for a second."
You gave him side eye as you both waited in front of the elevator, "Okay well, take it from me, I won't call him."
"You promise?"
"Pinky promise." You said, putting your pinky out as you jokingly wrapped it around his.
Matt's POV-
"I'm not going." I said, sitting back into the chair as Foggy stood in the doorframe with his hands crossed over his chest.
"Darcy said she wanted you there and that she's bringing a friend." Foggy said, "You don't have to stay long, just come for a bit. It'll get your mind off Y/n."
"My mind isn't on, Y/n." I said, a complete and utter lie.
"Bullshit, you've been thinking about her nonstop ever since you saw her name on the case file." Foggy called out, walking to his office to grab his coat and bag. "The fact that you talked to her at Josie's to 'see how she was doing' tells me she is on your mind."
"I genuinely wanted to see how she was doing." I said, standing up. "I politely asked how she was doing, and then that was it."
"Bullshit again, Murdock." Foggy pointed. "You where waiting for her to bring up a guy in her life. Your still in love with her, dude."
I didn't respond to that, instead I grabbed a hold of my bag and threw it over my shoulder.
"I'll go." I said, "But I'm staying for an hour and then coming back and working on the case."
"Fine by me." Foggy said, placing his hands up defensively. "Just do me a favor and don't be a dick to whoever the poor girl going is."
Y/n POV-
"I told Jackson I would only have one drink." you pleaded, watching as Darcy brought over another vodka martini.
"Why lie to him like that?" The blonde asked, placing the martini glass down in front of you. "You drink like a tank, one drink for you won't cut it."
You rolled your eyes, "This isn't college anymore, Darcy. I've cut down on drinking."
"By how much?"
"A bottle a day." You said, bringing the glass to your lips as you took a drink.
Darcy scoffed, "Your liver is begging for help." She formed her lips into an upside down smile, "But, you only live once, and with how stressed you always are your gonna be dead by the time your 40 anyway so-" she shrugged, "drink up."
"When's Foggy getting here?" You questioned, lowering the glass from your mouth.
"Should be anytime." Darcy said, looking back. "You sure your okay with him coming?"
You nodded, "Yeah why wouldn't I be? Foggy isn't the one that broke my heart." You brought the glass up to your lips again. "That dickhead Murdock did."
Darcy took a sharp breath, looking down at her glass. "Uh yeah, about that." She pursed her lips into a tight line, "I kinda told him to bring Matt."
You choked on your drink, coughing into a napkin as you placed the glass down on the table.
"You what?" You questioned, your eyes wide.
"Foggy isn't good in social situations and for some ungodly reason Matt somehow makes it better."
"You sleep with Foggy all the time." You said, putting your arm out. "You don't do that with Matt as your personal chauffer do you?"
"That's different, there's very little to no talking when I get laid."
You rolled your eyes, "Well I don't really think that Matt is gonna be the social butterfly of the night with his ex girlfriend, who he just so happens to be going against in court, will be across the table from him."
"Then why would he agree to come?" Darcy questioned, "Hm?"
"He agreed to come?" You questioned. "There's no way he agreed to come knowing I would be here, we have a mutual hatred for each other."
"Well Foggy texted me and said Matt was on board." Darcy shrugged, "So maybe that mutual hatred isn't so mutual after all." She said, taking a sip from her drink.
Your cheeks grew red with heat when she said that. Why where you blushing? You hate this guy, there's no reason to blush.
"Your not making this any better."
"Well accept it, because he's here."
Just as Darcy spoke, she turned around. Foggy and Matt both walked into the crowded bar, Foggy's neck craning to look for you both. Just when he found you both his eyes met Darcy's. He pulled Matt over, grabbing ahold of Darcy's back and dipping her as he pressed a long kiss to her mouth.
"Hi Foggy-bear." Darcy said with a smile.
"Hi there beautiful." He responded, once again pressing a long and sloppy kiss to her lips.
You looked over, Matt's head faced in your direction. His head was cocked with confusion, and just as he picked up on your heartbeat, his suspicions where confirmed.
That damn bastard, Matt thought to himself. Foggy knew that he wouldn't pick up on his heartbeat because technically he wasn't lying. Darcy was bringing a friend, and that friend just so happened to be you.
"Hi Matt." You said in a low tone, keeping your eyes off the couple who where groping each other in front of you.
"Hi Y/n." He responded back. His lips curled into once again that God damn smirk. "I'm guessing by the way your reacting you didn't know I would be here either?" He asked, averting your attention towards him.
"She told me after two martini's." You said, crossing your arms over your chest. "If I had been sober then I would have already left."
"And miss out on all this fun?" Matt questioned sarcastically, crossing his arms over his chest as he moved closer to you.
"I hate you." You stated simply.
"Yeah I know." Matt responded in a matter-of-factly tone. "But either way, we're stuck here together." He moved his lips close to your face, speaking in a raspy tone. "So accept it, sweetheart."
You stepped forward, breaking the pair up. "Okay, I agreed to drinks, not porn." You said stepping back. You took a large sigh, looking over at Foggy as you smiled.
"Hi Foggy."
"Hi Y/n." He said, bringing you in for a hug. He spoke with his chin against your shoulder. "I haven't seen you in forever!" he pulled back, keeping his hands on your arms. "You look great!" He said with a large smile.
"Well you look quite sharp yourself, Mr. Nelson." You said brushing off his shoulder as you smiled, nostalgia filling your mind.
"I'm gonna grab some drinks." Darcy said, clapping her hands together. "You want something Foggy-bear?"
"Cheapest beer they got." He pointed, "and one for Matt too."
"Got it." She pointed back, "Anything for you y/n."
"Bobrun."
"Not a martini?" She asked, confused.
"Bobrun, Darcy." You said suggestively, knowing you would need a hell of a lot more then a vodka martini to survive a night with Matt.
Darcy looked back at you, giving you a thumbs up with a large smile as both Matt and Foggy sat down behind you.
You gave her a sarcastic smile, throwing your middle finger up. She chuckled, rolling her eyes as she turned around, heading to the bar again.
You turned around, facing the men who where sitting down at a booth next to each other. It was obvious Matt was going off on Foggy, considering the furrowing of Foggy's brows, a common thing he did when he would defend himself.
You took a seat at the table, cutting their conversation shorts.
"So, how have you been Y/n?" Foggy asked, still wearing a smile. You could tell he was happy to see everyone together again.
"I've been good." You smiled, looking over at Matt who was scoffing to himself in the corner. You cocked your head to the side, "Something funny, Matt?"
"No." He shook his head, that fucking smirk still there. "By all means continue."
If a look could kill, lets just say yours would. You took a deep breath, looking forward again at Foggy. "What about you? You and Darcy seem to be serious. Only took you guys about six years."
Foggy laughed, "Oh shut it, Y/l/N." He joked, "And yes, we are getting serious."
"That's great." You said, actually happy for them.
You all sat in silence for a moment. You fidgeted with your hands as you looked back, seeing Darcy still waiting in line for drinks. Your eyes moved around the room, seeing groups of people piled up next to each other, some in the back of the bar making out, and others sitting alone.
Your eyes fell on the pool table across the room, making a small smile grow on your lips. You looked over to Foggy and Matt, their eyes both already on yours.
"Don't even think of it, Y/n." Foggy said, pointing at you with a smile.
"What?" You asked with a smirk. You leaned forward, "Can't handle a little game of pool?"
"I can handle pool, I just can't handle it when I'm up against you." Foggy said. "Your too good, way too good."
"I can't help it." You shrugged, "Come on, it'll be fun. Darcy loves pool, you guys can be on the same team." You shook your head, coming up with a compromise. "I'll go easy on you."
Foggy sighed, "I know that's bullshit, but fine." He stood up, I'll go wait with Darcy and bring the drinks over. You guys head over and save the table for us."
You nodded, standing up as Matt followed suit. He wore a grin as you both began walking towards the pool table.
"Remember last time we played pool?" Matt asked, his head facing down in your direction as that grin he wore grew larger. "Left corner wasn't the only hole I pocketed."
"I'm not doing this for the feeling of nostalgia, I'm doing it so I don't have to sit for the next three hours dealing with you scoffing at every comment I make." You moved past some people, "What was that scoff even about?" You questioned.
"Because you where lying to Foggy's face." Matt said, stopping when you did in front of the pool table. "I know your not doing great, and you know it too."
You reached over to the collection of pool sticks, grabbing one and handing it to Matt.
"I'm not talking about this with you."
"You wanna fuck about it instead?" Matt asked with a smirk, taking the pool stick from you.
You placed your forearm against his throat as you pushed him against the wall behind you.
"Murdock your on really thin ice right now." You spat, pushing him up against the wall. "Do me a favor and for once don't be a dick to me. Treat me like a normal human being, not like some toy that you used to fuck with when you where bored."
Matt shook his head, his lips barely an inch from yours. He grabbed your hips, moving you over so you where now pressed against the wall. He placed both of his hands on the wall beside you, your breathing hitched by the sudden impact.
"The thing is, your not mad about the fact I treat you like this no... " He lowered his lips to your ear, his dark voice rasping through your body, leaving shivers. "You like it, and that's what irritates you."
You took a deep breath, having to collect yourself. Matt stood up, pressing his hands off the wall behind you as he walked off. Darcy and Foggy walked into the room, their voices carrying over one another as they placed the drinks down on a table near.
"Me and Y/n will be on a team." Matt said, grabbing the chalk and rubbing it against the tip of the stick. He had rolled his sleeves up to his elbows, his veins popping out as his muscular arms pressed against the thin fabric of the white button up.
"Perfect." Foggy said, clapping his hands together. He pointed at you, "And I swear Y/n go easy on us."
"I already said I would." You said, walking up and grabbing a pool stick. "Wouldn't wanna scare you off first round."
Foggy and Darcy chuckled as they placed the balls in the middle of the table.
"Who's breaking?" You asked.
"Considering you have a blind guy on your team, we'll give you the benefit of breaking first." Darcy said, leaning up against Foggy.
You looked over at Matt, who's head was already facing your direction. He was leaning against the pool table with his broad arms crossed over his chest.
"By all means." He motioned to you. "Your the pro here." He commented, making your eyes roll.
You walked over to the end of the table, and Matt followed suit behind you. You bent over the table, your dress slightly hiking up the back of your thighs as you did so.
Matt clenched his hands around the pool stick harder, hearing the sound of the fabric on your body moving. His jaw twitched as you continued moving around, the sounds only getting louder and louder.
You pushed your arm forward, pocketing two solid's.
Standing up, your face beaming with pride, you took a bow.
"See that-" Foggy pointed, "That is why we don't play with you."
"Oh shut it, It's just some friendly competition." You said, waving your hand. "I set you up for a perfect shot already."
Foggy and Darcy both looked at each other, shaking their heads with a smile. Darcy walked up to the table, leaning over and lining the stick up with the white ball. She hit it, sending it from one corner to the other, finally pocketing in the middle right hole.
"Well look at that." You commented, "You don't suck like you used to."
Darcy scoffed, flipping you off. "And yet your still the same bitch you where six years ago. Your competitive spirit is gonna kill someone."
"Don't blame me." You raised your hands defensively, "Blame the guys who used to bet money against me during games."
A grin grew on Matt's face as he stepped forward, biting the inside of his cheek to simmer it down. "You mind helping me line up?" Matt questioned you, making your heart almost stop.
No he didn't. He didn't just ask me that.
"You fucking serious?" You whispered, just loud enough for him to hear.
"I'm blind." Matt said, sarcastically sounding sad. "The least you can do is help me out. Wouldn't wanna make you loose your game."
"Y/n just help him, he can't even see if the ball is striped or not." Darcy commented, making your anger only grow more for him.
You turned to face him, "Fine." You smiled, gripping his arm harshly as you pulled him to the other side of the table.
Matt leaned over, and you did too. You placed your hand on his arm, pushing the stick over to place it in line with the ball. You breathed heavily as you did so, for some reason the air around you becoming much warmer then it was before.
The feeling of his arms pressed against your hands where enough to make you grow weak at the knees. Your hand moved near his bicep, wrapping your hand around it as you moved his arm around.
"Remember this?" Matt whispered, sending shivers down your body.
"Murdock-"
"You enjoy it too, I know you do." Matt said as you leaned his arm back, "You forget I can listen to your heart, honey."
You pushed his arm forward as the stick he had hit the ball in front of him. He pocketed three balls in one, making a large grin grow on his face. You stood up quickly, moving around him.
"I'm gonna use the restroom." You said, grabbing your bag. "I'll be back in a minute."
You hurried to the restroom, closing the door behind you quickly as you walked over to the sink. You clenched your hands around the sink, taking deep breaths as you closed your eyes.
God damnit Murdock.
The issue isn't that he was wrong, but that he was right. This entire night had been a constant roller coaster of emotions for you. One second you hated this man with everything in you, and the next you where ready to bend over a table for him and let him have his way with you.
The sound of the door opening made you open your eyes. You took one more final deep breath turning around. You expected it to be Darcy but instead it was someone who you where least expecting.
Matt. Matt fucking Murdock.
The two of you didn't say a word to each other, just stood face to face as music pounded against the walls of the bathroom.
Matt turned back, locking the door behind him as he turned back to face you again.
"Your a dick." You spat, ruining the silence between you both.
"Oh for the love of God, Y/n just accept it!" He exasperated, placing his hand on his forehead. "This-" he pointed between you both. "This isn't over."
"Yes it is, Matt." You snapped, your voice growing louder. "This is over, this will never happen again." You placed your hands over your face. "This was a mistake. I should have just left the second she told me you where coming."
Matt stepped closer to you, his voice low. "But you didn't. And you didn't for a reason." He placed his hand on you face, swiping his hands over your cheeks as he leaned down to your height. "Why didn't you leave, y/n?"
You swallowed hard, your lips unable to move.
"Use your words, honey." Matt rasped. "Why didn't you fucking leave?"
You looked up, your hands meeting his chest as you ran your hands slowly down it. His free hand ran behind your back, reaching low until it finally met your ass. Your lips where barely an inch away from each others as you spoke.
"Because I thought if I stayed it would get you off my mind." You whispered, reaching your hands further down his shirt, down past his stomach and to his belt. "It would remind me how much I hate you and how big of an ass you are."
Matt ran his face from your cheek down to your chin. He used his fingers to lift your face to his.
"Oh sweetheart," He whispered, shaking his head as he wore a smirk on his lips. "There's no getting me off your mind."
With that your lips collided. His hands both cupped your ass as you wrapped your legs around him, getting pulled up by his hands. You pressed your hands onto his face as he slammed you against the stall next to you.
Matt's lips trailed kisses down your neck, moving the fabric of your dress off of your shoulders as he nipped at the skin of your collarbone.
You moaned into the air, your head completely arched back as you hit the stall door. You felt Matt's grin against your skin, making you look down at the angelic image of him sucking at your skin.
"What the hell are you grinning about, Murdock?" You asked breathlessly.
"This." He said simply, "You. The feeling of your skin." He moved your dress down as it exposed your chest. "Your a drug to me."
Your dress fell down to your legs as Matt moved it off your legs, leaving you only in your bra and underwear. He pressed you further up against the wall, meeting your lips with his as he gripped your ass in his hand.
"We have-" You where cut off by Matt's lips on yours. He moved feverishly over your lips, leaving sloppy kisses on your mouth. "Less then five minutes-" You where cut off again, moaning into Matt's mouth as he kissed you again. "Or they'll get suspicious."
"Let them." Matt said, digging his nails into the skin of your ass. "I've waited six years to feel you again, they can wait."
Your hands trailed to his shirt, unbuttoning the white shirt as you moved it off his shoulders and down his arms. It met your dress on the floor, discarded away from you both.
Your fingers trailed over his ab's, your eyes widening at the image in front of you. He had added more muscle since the last time you saw him. He wasn't some scrawny boy anymore he was...a fucking God.
"You like what you see?" Matt asked, his lips red and already swollen.
"Why didn't you do this when we where dating?" You questioned, feeling at his body with your hands, running over his muscles on his arms and stomach. "I mean Jesus Matt."
Matt chuckled, "Me not being muscular wasn't stopping you from getting in bed with me."
You shrugged, "Good point."
Your lips crashed together again as you began to unbuckle his belt. Your hands pushed his pants down to his thighs as he pushed you further against the stall. Matt took one hand from your ass, pulling his boxers down with his free hand. He pushed the material covering you over as he lined up with you.
"Your still on-?" He questioned, you cut him off when you realized what he was talking about.
"If I wasn't we wouldn't be doing this." You said, placing your hands on his shoulders as he pushed you up on his waist.
Matt's egotistic grin filled your mind as he slammed into you. Sounds of the pounding stall filled the silence around you both. Your head arched back at the feeling as you dug your nails into the skin of his shoulder.
"Oh my God, Matt-" You moaned breathlessly. He continued the motion, going in and out of you as his hand squeezed your ass. "D- don't- Don't stop."
Matt pressed his lips against yours, still pumping in and out of you. Your hands fled from his back to his face, covering his cheeks as you both gave each other sloppy and fast kisses.
Matt moaned into your mouth at the feeling of you tightening around him. He picked up his pace, your back arching at the feeling.
"Already about to cum for me?" He questioned in between kisses as he trailed them down your jaw. "Your such a cum-slut for me, aren't you?"
Your mouth was open with the feeling of pure bliss. Everything was amazing. The feeling of Matt inside of you, his lips on your skin, his body on yours, everything.
"Matt-" You moaned as he nipped at your pulse point, a sweet spot for you.
God he still remembers.
"I'm- I'm gonna cum, Matt." You said as his lips met yours once again.
"Then cum sweetheart." He said in between kissing you. "Cum for me."
Matt's pace quickened once again, and just like that everything around you became blurry. Your heartrate sped up, and your stomach felt like it was going to drop.
As you released onto Matt, his grin became larger. He arched his head back, moving his grip from your ass to your waist. He held onto you tight, making it feel like his fingers would leave marks on your skin.
He released inside of you, and just like that you both where collapsed onto each other. Your foreheads where pressed against each other as Matt loosened his grip on your waist, moving one hand to your lower back as he rubbed it gently.
"Why didn't we do this sooner?" Matt questioned, his forehead pressed against yours as you both let out a breathless laugh.
"I have no idea." You said as Matt pulled out of you, letting your legs drop to the ground slowly as he still held you.
You looked up, his lips and face covered in lipstick marks. You rubbed your finger against his lips, getting the marks off.
"You have lipstick all over your face." You said, moving over to the sink with his hands still wrapped around your body. You grabbed a towel, putting some water on it as you wiped the marks off his face.
"Your more then welcome to leave your mark on me whenever you would like." He said as you wiped lipstick from his face. "You know," He grabbed your wrist, pulling it down from his face. "I could walk you home tonight."
"Oh really?" You laughed, "So you plan on getting some twice in one night?"
"I was not thinking that at all." He said, sarcastically. "But now that you mention it, that doesn't sound bad."
Your phone rang from your bag that was on the floor. You grunted as you reached down, grabbing it and looking at the screen.
"God damnit." You said, moving from Matt's arms as you rushed to your dress. "I have to go to work."
"At 11:30 at night?" Matt questioned. "You have to find better excuses to leave."
You chuckled, planting a kiss to his lips. "I'm being serious. Jackson's freaking out about the case and he wants me to go over some things with him."
You pulled your dress over your head as Matt grunted. "Cockblocker." He mumbled, grabbing his shirt and putting his arms through the sleeves. He walked over to you, pressing a kiss to your lips.
"So...any chance we know what this is?" He questioned, referring to the both of you.
You took a deep breath, "Too soon to say." You shrugged, "I guess we'll figure it out."
You both knew what you wanted, and it was the same thing the other person wanted. You wanted each other, you wanted a relationship, you wanted the old Matt and y/n. But things had changed, it had been six years and things where different then before.
All you knew is that you needed Matt Murdock, and he needed you.
You placed a kiss on his cheek as you walked off towards the door, unlocking it.
"Just because I fucked you doesn't mean I'm going easy on you." Matt said as he buttoned his shirt up.
You smiled to yourself. "See you in court, Murdock."
That smirk appeared on Matt's face again when you left. He finished buttoning up his shirt as he walked back out to the bar.
"What where you guys doing in there?" Foggy asked Matt. "You where both in there for like 10 minutes."
Matt shrugged, "We just talked." He lied.
"Is that what they're calling it these days?" Foggy questioned suspiciously. "You know fucking her is only gonna make it worse for you to forget her."
