HANNAH'S POV

I looked up from my book as I heard the front door open. The chill of the winter air seeped in sending goosebumps over my skin. It was December 1st, three days after Katelyn and my...intimate session and I still haven't heard anything from her. 

She has gone off the radar and I haven't really spoken since then. My brother and sister have left me be but they do occasionally try to get me to talk. We were all sitting in the living room so who the hell is coming inside my house? I thought to myself. 

My brother and sister looked away from the TV and we all looked at the doorway of the living room to see our parents. They smiled at us. "Hello," my mother said, "sorry we didn't call" 

We all rushed over and hugged them. "How come you came home so early?" I asked once we were all settled back into our spots. 

"A friend called and said they wanted us to come to visit the Black Granite Pack since they were joined by a smaller pack and got new leaders," my father said, "and you three are coming with us"

"We know nothing about werewolves dad!" my brother, Randy, protested, "they could hurt us!" 

My parents. Amanda and Colton Reed. They know everything about supernatural creatures, especially werewolves. They visit packs around the world to learn more and more about the lifestyle and ways of the wolves. 

I never knew there was a pack living here. "I didn't know there was a pack here" my sister, Emily, said. 

"They own the whole town. They've owned this town since the 1000's" my mother said. 

"Wow," we all muttered.

I stared at the packhouse in awe. It was huge and beautiful. We parked in front of the mansion and we all got out of the car. There were people walking around the front, going in and out of the house. 

My mom and dad told us to stay close so we listened. We walked inside and I gaped at the inside. It was the most beautiful architecture I've ever seen. I heard footsteps but couldn't tear my gaze away from the chandelier. 

"It's wonderful to see you again Mr. and Mrs. Reed" my head snapped towards Isabella in shock. She had her hands behind her back and she stood tall. "Welcome to the Blood Packhouse," she said with a soft smile. 

"Oh, Isabella, it's been too long," my mom said as she pulled her in for a hug. 

She hugged back before they both pulled away. "I'll show you around," she said as she turned on her heel. She seemed not exactly happy we were here and very tense. We walked behind her as she gave us a full tour of the house. Apparently, they didn't have a very big pack. 

When the other pack joined the pack only had about 100 members and if you add the other pack it's only about 115. Apparently, she was the Alpha before this new Alpha came along. She was now in the Gamma position. 

Once she was done showing us around we were led to the dining room which was huge. It was kinda like a cafeteria but with better food and nicer seating. She sat us down and two people walked over. 

"Gamma," they both said as they bowed their heads which is what I learned the pack does to show respect to their superiors.

Isabella smiled, "Daniel, Chris, this is Mr. and Mrs. Reed along with their children, Randy, Emily, and Hannah" she introduced. 

Daniel and Chris turned to us and bowed their heads before asking us what we wanted to eat. I'm guessing they were Omega's based on how they were treating us. A group of seven walked in and took a seat at a table a bit away from us. 

I heard one of them say, "this pack is absolutely pathetic. Having humans eat with us and treating the Omega's as equals-" 

"Excuse me is there a problem?" Isabella asked as she looked up from what she was reading at the bar. The group was startled. 

"We didn't say you could speak to us" a woman sneered. She seemed in high-ranking power. 

Isabella slammed her book closed and stood up. She was about to go over there but Madison was by her side and stopped her. I didn't even know she came into the room. Isabella growled before walking out. 

Madison blew out a breath. Wait, Madison is a werewolf?! "Maddie?" I asked. Her head turned towards us. She blinked before smiling and walking over. 

"Hello, I'm Madison Royal. I am the Beta. It's a pleasure to have you here, Mr. and Mrs. Reed" Madison smiled. 

"It's a pleasure to meet you, Miss Royal. We've heard many things about you" my father said, "your parents talk about you a lot" 

Madison sighed, "yes I've come to figure that out"

"I have a feeling you guys don't want us here," my mother said with a raised eyebrow. 

"No...yes...it's complicated. My mother can be a very pushy person and she tends to do whatever she wants. Our Alpha is very stressed right now" Madison said. 

The two adults nodded in understanding. "Pathetic" someone in the group said. 

Madison growled at them, "I'd watch yourself. Alpha isn't in a good mood" 

"No one cares about your damn Alpha" one of them sneered. 

The doors opened and people started flooding in. Maddie disappeared into the crowd. Everyone sat down and started to eat as the Omega's gave them all a plate. The room was filled with chatter. 

My gaze shifted towards the door as they opened. I did not expect who walked in. Clad in orange sweats that looked like prison pants but baggier and a white sports bra was Katelyn. My mouth grew dry as I looked at her stomach which was toned and her hands that had veins popping out. 

She seemed to be in her own world as I watched her. A black-haired girl that had blue streaks walked over to her looking angry. She whispered something and Katelyn shook her head. She whispered something again which seemed to make Katelyn snap as she stalked towards her and made the girl walk backward. The girl didn't look that afraid. 

The girl looked away, "sorry" she muttered. 

Katelyn lifted her head and walked away from her and saw down at a table that held Maddie, Isabella, and a couple of other people I didn't know. The girl sat down at the table as well. Katelyn's head snapped towards me and our eyes connected. 

Her eyes narrowed slightly. "Who is that mom?" my sister asked looking a bit flustered. 

Katelyn looked away from me and focused on what Madison was saying. "I think that's Alpha Royal" my father replied. 

"Based on how she made the girl submit, I'd say yes" my mother added. 

"She's hot" my brother muttered. 

I glared slightly at him but he didn't notice. Both my siblings were staring at her as if visibly undressing her. I clenched my jaw. Katelyn stood up and made her way over. My heartbeat sped up. 

"Hello, Mr. and Mrs. Reed," Katelyn said with a polite smile, "it's a pleasure to finally meet you. My parents talk about your journies a lot" 

Both my parents seemed to have been charmed by her. "The pleasures all ours, dear," my mother said. 

"Thank you for letting us come in this stressful time" my father added. Katelyn looked over at Maddie who quickly turned away and stuffed food in her mouth. She looked back at us. "These are our children. Our oldest is Emily here than Randy, and then Hannah" 

Katelyn smiled at us. "Nice to meet you" 

I looked down at my plate and moved some things around with my fork. I didn't feel like eating like the past three days. 

"Well, I'd be happy to give your kids some insight into what goes on here." My head snapped up towards Katelyn with wide eyes. She wasn't looking at me though, she was staring at my parents.

"Oh, that would be lovely!" My mother said. 

"Great" Katelyn smiled, "Emily why don't you come with me first" 

My stomach dropped as I saw Emily's smirk. The two disappeared once they exited the cafeteria. I looked over at the table that held the other pack that was visiting to see one of the girls staring at me, hungrily. 

I turned away and went back to my food.
