Ayato wasn't sure what to think. What does that even mean? He has to rise above them?

Kill them with my success. Bury them with a smile.

Ayato never wanted to be a ninja. Ever since he was little, that was never his passion. He's always loved singing, but that's not what he wants to do either.

Ayato gets bullied often because of how "girly" his dream is, but he still wants to fulfill it.

He wants to do hair.

Despite being as muscular as he is, and as masculine he appears, he's actually very shy and quite feminine. He's a fashion junky with a hair styling addiction. He loves doing hair. His own hair, his sisters hair, his sisters friends hair, he just loves it. And he's damn good at it.

So he wants to be a hair stylist. But he can't I he's a ninja.

He needs to kill them with success. Rise above the pressure of being something he doesn't really want to be and instead follow what he loves. What he truly wants to be good at.

That's the only way you can bury them with a smile. A true smile.

Sure, he could become a great ninja and surpass his sister, but he doesn't want to be a ninja. She may be a rude, abusive, child, but he isn't gonna steal her dream. He knows what it's like to be kept from your dream. Ayato can't imagine the pain of having your dream stolen and fulfilled by someone else.

Autumn would say he's too kind. That he's soft. That he needs to toughen up. She's partly right in what she says, but she's fully correct in what she thinks.

He'll get hurt. But if he's strong enough to truly be continuously kind, than he's strong enough to endure it. It's his choice anyway.

It is his choice. If he wants to be a softhearted, merciful person, then so be it.

Anyway, Autumn finally arrived to her class. One last goodbye ceremony and she could blow this joint. Goodbye daily bullying! Goodbye class assignments! Good-fucking-bye school!

The leaving ceremony seemed to last forever, but when it was finally over people waited in the classroom for their squad leaders. Autumn still doesn't know hers. So, she opted for falling asleep.

While Autumn is training to be a ninja, she truly thinks she's no good at it. She has passing strength and skill, but the only thing she's truly good at is math. She can do math incredibly fast in her mind, to the point where it's unnatural. A skill her mom also slightly had.

Not exactly though. Her mom had always been good at math, and really fast too. But Autumn was freakishly fast. She finishes her math tests only as long as it takes to read and write all the answers. It's instant.

A skill that's considered relatively useless in combat.

Anyway, as Autumn slept, team by team people started to leave the classroom. And it left three very annoyed people and one asleep.
