Ethan Sebastian McGarret

'Alpha.' Lifting my head up from my paperwork to look at the guard before me. 'We caught a trespasser, what should we do with her?' I roll my eyes, irritated. 'Lock her up.' I say without blinking. 'The trespasser is a bloodsucker.' He sneers while looking disgust.

'Just lock her up. I will deal with it later.' I reply bored. I can feel somebody of my pack trying to mind linking me, letting them in I ask what it is that they want. 'Alpha, the beta is terribly wounded.' I growl and feel my wolf getting mad. Who, in their right mind, dares to hurt a member of my pack and especially my best friend?

Angry I slam my fist on the desk, making the papers fly through the room. 'Who did it?' I growl through the mind link. 'A female vampire.' Growling again I mind link the guards at the cell that I am coming.

Leaving my workroom the smell of vanilla and melon hits me.
'Mate is here.' My wolf, Sebastian, chirps happily. I forget what I was doing and follow the heavenly smell into the block where the cells are. 'She is downstairs, hurry!' Sebastian says demanding.

Downstairs I come face to face with the most beautiful woman I ever laid eyes on. Her height eed hair hair reaches her waist and looks like it is on fire while blue eyes shine like a thousand stars. 'Mate, mate, go to her, you idiot.' Bass' voice booms through my head.

I ignore the guards when they nod respectively at me because I have only eyes for her. Each step I take closer sends my heartbeat faster. I use my speed to move right in front of her. 'Mate.' Sebastian and I say in unison, make our voice sound dark. Sebastian chuckles when he hears the guard gasp. 'Of course they would gasp, she is beautiful.' I smirk at his comment.

Seeing that my mate is not looking at me but at the gasping guards, I mentally growl. I look mad at the guards because they got her attention. They look with shocked expressions at her. 'Why is mate locked up, get her out of there.' I feel rage building up before I snap at them. 'Let her out of the cell, you morons, or I will rip your throats out.' I growl at them.

The guards cower in fear when they rush to unlock the cell. When the door opens she looks at me confused as if she doesn't know what to do. 'She doesn't know. She doesn't know about mates.' Bass whimpers sadly. 'Is the alpha really mated with the bloodsucker?' One guard asks the other one. 'I think that the moongoddess made a mistake.' That last comment makes Sebastian and I growl angry at the guards.

'Is there something wrong? Something you want to tell me?' I ask with a mixture of Sebastian and mine voice. Their eyes widden in fear when they step a little back. 'N-no, alpha.' One of the guards stutter afraid. 'It's just, uh, that, uh, she is a vampire?' Says the guard unsure. 'She wounded the beta badly too.' Says the other guard with determination.

'How bad?' I turn around quickly when I hear my mate whisper those words and look at her with shock. She did that? She is the female vampire that trespassed? I look around and see that she was the only one locked up. My mate is a vampire, a vampire who wounded my best friend. Her blue eyes are widden in shock and her hands are in her hair, lightly pulling it every few seconds. 'What have I done?' She looks down and repeats that very sentence over and over again. 'Mate is sad. Go to her.' Bass says. 'But she doesn't know, we could scare her.' Sebastian grow at me before saying that I am an idiot.

I cannot longer handle seeing her breaking down so I pull her in my arms. Not saying a word while stroking her hair and pulling out some branches I didn't notice before. 'What is your name little red?' I ask her. 'Little red?' She repeats. 'I am not little.' She continues in a mumble. I look at her. 'Darling, I'm 6'2" and you are maybe 5'5", that is small.' I say smirking at her.

'My name is Annistyn.' She says softly. 'What is yours, mister I know it all?' Sebastian laughs loudly in my head. 'She is cute.' I mentally nod before saying he is right. 'My name is Ethan.' I say while tapping her nose lightly. The guard shift uncomfortable before hurriedly running out the room. Good riddance.

'Uh, Ethan, do you think it is possible for me to visit your, uh, beta? I want to make things right. I shouldn't have lost control.' She looks down at the ground when she asks me that and gently I take her hand in mine. I look at her to see if she is okay with me holding her hand. 'I think that is a good idea but be warned he is kinda stubborn.' I scratch my neck while looking unsure. 'So am I.' she says with a determinated glint in her eyes.
