Streaks of sun rays pierces through the rustling leaves of the overhead trees, a portion of light gently caresses their glowing skin.

Their eyes remained fixed, with an undeniable love blooming within seconds. Silence paved way for desperate glances, both were aware, yet still unaware of the strange feelings creeping within the depths of their souls.

She gracefully lifts herself out of the pond, ''Tomorrow?'' Her one word caused an impressed smirk to overpower his frown, ''I'll be waiting'' She jolts from the response he'd given, waves of excitement exhilarates through her body as she leaves the forbidden territory, entering her home land.

''Blake Blake Blake!!'' She heaves and dashes down the little hill covered with lush greenery, ''Whoah slow down princess!'' He chuckles grabbing her stumbling body shaking from the near fall.

''I've m-met'' She places her hands on her knees trying to catch her breath, he watches blissfully as long strands fall between her eyes, ''Met?'' He asks curiously while brushing away her perfect locks.

''My mate!'' She jumps up ecstatically, his smile drops to a mere frown, hurt and confusion settles deep within his pupils, ''Your m-mate?'' A sense of breathlessness concludes his tone.

''Yes!! From the other pack! But who cares right? Dad will understand won't he?!'' Her eyes beaming with hope stirring more pain in him, ''Let me speak to him'' he grips her drastically swaying body with new tears forming in his eyes.

''You'd do that for me?'' A sense of shock places itself in her voice, ''What are friends for?'' He croaks as she places herself into his embrace before darting off.

His gaze travels from here to there as he makes his way through the forest. A barely noticeable cottage reveals itself after many steps, he flings the door open violently, ''You promised'' his teeth grits with a tightly clenched fist, ''You promised she'd be mine!!'' He roars and tosses the beautiful glass studded vase to the ground.

''Then why did she meet him?!? Why is he still alive?!'' He heaves and kicks down an absently laid chair, causing it to split into sharp wooden pieces. ''Calm down my dear'' a venomous voice whispers ahead of him, ''Your time has come'' She assures him.

''To sit back and watch her being taken away from me? Our Alpha would sacrifice all his treasures for her! So what's a mere treaty of peace compared to that??'' He states still fuming.

''The Alpha would never allow his little princess to be married of to someone who plots the destruction of his pack'' She grins and walks closer to him, her dark hair settled beneath her waist with a deep green tinting her eyes and a lush red placed on her lips.

''Send this letter to your Alpha, be sure to awaken the need for war, and then, as promised, you and Maya will be together'' her whisper sends frightful chills through his body.

He grabs the letter at hand and storms out of the tensed room, after the death of his mate, he had nearly given up.

Till he found Maya, so perfect and rare, her childish antics reminded him of his deceased mate, reminded him that love would always be there. Maya had been great help in his healing process, her nature had been such, so giving and caring.

''You were mine since then, I will NOT allow him to take you from me'' his eyes portrayed a blood seeking red as he pounds against the wall, receiving cracks as response.
