*The next morning*

Damon woke up first this morning to the sound of Marcus admitting soft purrs.

He looked down slightly and saw that Marcus was laying ontop of hip with his head burried into his sent gland.

Damon smiled lightly as he wrapped his arms around the small Beta and rubbed random shaped onto his back and hip.

"Good morning." Marcus mumbled against Damon's neck as he woke up.

"Good morning sunshine." Damon replied almost instantly feeling the heat of Marcus's blush against his neck and shoulder.

"Are you going home today?" Marcus asked, sadness slipping through his tone.

"I'm not going home until your heat is over and I know you are safe." Damon replied as he moved one of his hands to run through Marcus's soft hair.

"You don't hav-" Marcus was cut off by Damon. "I know I don't have to but I want to and just incase you were wondering, no it isn't just my alpha instincts wanting to help." he said, feeling Marcus give a small smile.

"Are you sure? I really don't want to be a bother." The blue eyed boy asked as he moved so he could look Marcus in the eyes.

"I am positive." Damon replied looking Marcus right in the eye so he knew he was telling the truth.

"Okay... Thank you then." Marcus said becoming shy, he was always shy whenever he wanted affection or was given anything. As a child his parents were very disappointed that he wasn't an Alpha and didn't treat him well so affection and complements were not something he was used to.

"Of course." Damon replied with a kind smile before Marcus nuzzled his head into the taller's neck again.

"I need to take a shower, do you mind waiting in here? I won't be long." Marcus stated after a few minutes of silence.

"I don't mind waiting, take as long as you need." Damon replied as he let Marcus out of his grasp.

"Thank you." Marcus said before quickly grabbing himself some day clothes and going into the bathroom.

While he was taking a shower Damon played games on his phone, and scrolled through Instagram on Marcus's bed so the boy would know that he was still there when he came back.

*Ten minutes later*

Marcus came back into the room, his hair slightly damp. He threw his dirty clothes into a hamper that was next to his door before moving over to Damon.

Damon had sat up when he saw Marcus come in and opened his arms putting down his phone knowing that Marcus wanted more cuddles.

Marcus sat down on Damon's lap and wrapped both his arms and legs around him while nuzzling his head near Damon's sent gland and inhaling his calming pine scent.

"I don't know why I took so long, oh and sorry for being clingy." Marcus appoligised, his lips accidentally brushing against Damon's sent gland making the alpha shutter.

Everyone, no matter what type of anything you were, if you had a sent gland it was sensitive as everything and if messed with enough could trigger an alpha's runt or someone's heat.

"Don't worry about it, it's just your heat. Also I love your cuddles so I don't mind." Damon replied as he slid his hand under Marcus's shirt and rubbed his back in a soothing motion.

"Hmm." Marcus hummed back as he relaxed into the embrace, bringing a hand up to Damon's hair and running it through the soft locks.

Damon leaned into the feeling, he always liked whenever anyone played with his hair. It wasn't a kink or anything, he just liked the feeling.

"Do you want to take a shower?" Marcus asked after a minute of the two just cuddling.

"Well I should probably take a shower soon but I don't have to take one right now if you just want to cuddle." Damon replied choosing his words carefully.

"You can go and take a shower, just please don't take too long. I mean you can take as long as yo-" Marcus's rambling was cut off by Damon hugging him tighter.

"I'll be quick don't worry." He said calmly before standing them both up.

"Okay, here you can change into these." Marcus said as he picked up a pair of boxers and sweatpants.

"Thank you." Damon replied before leaving for the bathroom..

Luckily the shower was a normal one so all he had to do was push the knob up and then twist it to the left for hot water.

While Damon was taking a shower Marcus moved downstairs to make them breakfast.

"I hope he likes blueberry waffles." He thought aloud as he grabbed the waffle batter.

He made them each two waffles and then put some bacon into the microwave.

Now with out the distraction of cooking, Marcus started to involuntarily whine and whimper wanting Damon to be with him in the room to cuddle.

So he moved over to the next best thing, his nest with Damon's pillow.

He moved over to the nest and quickly grabbed the pillow, hugging it tight to his chest before wrapping a blanket around himself.

A few minutes later Damon came down the stairs.

"Wow, something smells amazing. Is that bacon?!" He asked as he took the last step off of the stairs, instantly looking for his small mate.

Marcus got up, threw down his blanket and pillow before tackle hugging Damon.

He jumped up and wrapped his arms and legs around his alpha.

"I'm sorry baby, I didn't mean to take ten minutes I was trying to be fast." Damon apologize making Marcus blush at the pet name that Damon himself didn't even realize he had used.

"It's fine. I made us breakfast." Marcus replied as he continued to cling to Damon.

"Well it smells amazing." Damon replied as he carried Marcus into the kitchen where he fixed them each their own plate of food.

He then moved them into the livingroom and sat them down on at the coffee table seeing as Marcus didn't have a dining room.

"My house is so small... he probably thinks I'm super poor and will drop me as soon as my heat is over." Marcus thought bitterly.

"How the fuck did the handle of my fork get sticky?! Now my hand is sticky!" Damon asked suddenly making Marcus laugh.

"Its just syrup, just lick it off." Marcus said through a laugh.

"Eww no, you lick it off!" Damon said speaking before thinking.

Marcus raised a brow at him as Damon thought about what he just said.

"Wait that sounds weird, nevermind. I'm going to go wash my hands now." He said making Marcus laugh again.

Damon quickly left to go and wash his hands.

When he came back he saw that the plates were gone off the coffee table and Marcus was cuddled up into a ball in his nest.

"Can I join you?" He asked knowing that Marcus could potentially attack him for invading his nest.

"Mhm." Marcus hummed as he scooted over giving Damon room to join him.

Once Damon sat down Marcus cuddled into his chest.

The two continued to cuddle for a while until Marcus asked "C-could you maybe sent my nest?"
