'OMG look at where my boyfriend just brought me!' Was the caption to Riley's Instagram post as she showed off the beautiful picnic her boyfriend Marcus had made for their date.

She posted it before putting her phone down and looking over at Marcus, looking at all of his features.

He was quite handsome but almost had a slight feminine look to him.

His cheekbones wernt as sharp as most men's, his eyes were rather large, and he almost looked like he could have curves if he wore tighter clothing.

Marcus looked at her making her flush at being caught staring.

He smiled. "Enjoying the view?" He chuckled getting a smile back from her.

"Maybe." She said before kissing his cheek.

"That's good." He chuckled before kissing her cheek back.

Just then someone that Riley couldn't see drove by in a pickup truck and Marcus stared at them looking like he was in a trance.

"Marc? Baby? Love? Marcus!" Riley asked as she waved her hand infront of Marcus's face.

"Hmm? Sorry what were you saying?" Marcus asked looking internally conflicted.

"Why did you just zone out when you saw that truck?!" She asked with a pout.

"I...um... well if I told you, you wouldn't believe me." Marcus said while scratching the back of his neck.

"Tell me! I want to know!" She demanded making Marcus flinch back from her.

"W-well... I'm a Beta wearwolf and so I will probably have an Alpha mate. You, who I still love, are a human and not even close to an Alpha. That truck however smelt heavily of Alpha pheromones." Marcus tried to explain hoping that Riley would believe him.

"Wearwolf? Beta? Alpha? What? This is probably one of your weirdest pranks you have ever tried to pull Marc." She said looking at him like he was crazy.

Marcus unknowingly started to give off distress pheromones as he started talking once again.

"It's not a joke or a prank Ri, I know it sounds crazy but it's true." Marcus tried to convince her but she wasn't buying it at all.

"Is there a problem over here?" Some deep voice asked making Marcus freez.

Riley looked at Marcus with slight consern before turning to the tall and well built man.

"No sir there isn't, please leave me and my boyfriend alone." She said as she moved to hold Marcus's hand.

Marcus flinched at the movement but it was bairly noticeable.

"I wasn't talking to you ma'am I was talking to him. Could I speak with you over here for a minute sir?" The man asked in a gentle tone when he was speaking directly to Marcus.

Marcus came out of his frozen state and moved away from his girlfriend and twards the man.

"Can I help you?" He asked once he and the man were out of hearing range of Riley.

"Are you alright? I could smell your distress pheromones all the way from the other side of the park." The man asked proving Marcus's theory.

This man was an Alpha.

"Yes, I'm fine. It's just that I saw your car and all I could smell was Alpha and my girlfriend saw me zone out. She was upset that I looked at the truck for longer than I looked at her so I explained to her that I'm a wearwolf and she doesn't believe me an-." He was cut off by the Alpha.

"I think I understand. Breath, slow down. If she doesn't understand of believe you then she is probably not the one for you. Also sorry for the truck, my siblings and I came out here with our little niece and nephew so they could play some." He said with a small smile.

"Oh it's fine, it was just a little overpowering." Marcus said as he still didn't make any eye contact with the man.

"Sorry about that. Well if you really are fine here then I'll probably get going back so I can make sure that nobody gets hurt. But before I go, what's your name?" He asked as Riley watched their interaction with a suspicious glare.

"Oh, my name is Marcus. What's your name?" Marcus answered rather quickly.

Most of the time when an Alpha asked you a question or told you to do something you did it. Well that is unless you are marked by your own Alpha.

"My name is Damon." He smiled before both he and Marcus heard someone start to cry over at the playground side of the area.

"That's my niece, I'm going to go check on her. Maybe see you later!" Damon said before running off to help her.

"Alphas sure have changed." Marcus muttered before turning back over to face Riley.

"What was that about?!" She asked as she stood up and stormed twards him.

"That was an Alpha coming to check up on me." Marcus replied back, remaining calm.

"And why would an "Alpha" come and check up on you?" She asked as her finger poked his chest, giving the world "Alpha" finger quotes.

"Because I was accidentally giving off distress pheromones." He replied once again, this time trying his best to make sure not to send off any pheromones other than his normal ones.

"Thats the dumbest shit I've ever heard! This prank has gone on long enough! You already know I don't believe it so why are you trying to keep going with it?!" She yelled at him right in his face making him force back a whimper.

"Its not a prank Riley. Also I've never pranked you before so why would I start now?" He asked as he took a step back from her, trying to create some distance between them.

Riley didn't seem to get the message and stepped closer again.

"You would start now because I was just starting to love you back. I know I have always said "Love you" back to you but I didn't really mean it. I simply liked you. That was until recently when you brought me all of things and took me out on dates, things real boyfriends do! Now that I started to love you, you go and pull something like this!" She accused as a few tears rolled from her eyes.

Suddenly Marcus was hit with an overpowering smell of Alpha.

He looked over the fuming Riley's shoulder and saw Damon and his group of friends walking over to them.

"Hey lady! Ever heard of a thing called personal space?" One of the men yelled causing Riley to spin around and look at them all.

All of the men were quite large in both hight and muscles. They easly put Marcus to shame.

"Yes I have, why?" She asked back as she looked the three of them up and down, biting her lip as she did so.

"Because it's messed up to invade someone else's. Now step away from the cutie and we won't have a problem." The same man said getting a slight glare from Damon.

"Cutie? He is my boyfriend! And straight!" She said looking at the boy in discust.

"Well actually I'm bisexual not straig-" Marcus cut himself off when he saw Riley glare at him.

"Do you treat him like this all of the time?" The other man asked, the one that hadn't said anything yet.

"What do you mean? Of course I do. This is how you treat someone you like." She asked with an eyeroll that quickly turned to her hiding behind Marcus when she heard an animalistic growl.

"What was that?!" She asked as the other three looked at Damon who had made the growl.

"That is not how you treat someone you like! You shouldn't only love them for the things they give you either." Damon said as he glared at Riley.

"Oh shut up! Who asked you? Nobody! Now go away before I use my Taekwondo on you!" She threatened making Marcus roll his eyes.

"These are Alphas, you're Taekwondo won't do much to them if anything at all." He muttered as he resisted the urge to facepalm.

She looked at him like he was stupid again.

"Oh would you just drop it already! This is so stupid! Alpha and Betas don't exist exsept for in wolf packs. Wearwolfs don't exist! Stop pretending like your one you creep!" She yelled as she moved away from him, now beside of Marcus instead of behind him.

Damon growled a low deep growl that made everyone but Riley face him.

"You know what? You are crazy! And a terrible boyfriend! You never give me the things I want and your bacily broke! We are over!" She yelled before turning around and storming off to her car.

Marcus stood there looking at the spot where Riley had stood just a moment ago...
