Freed x Mirajane

(Y/N) = Your (First) Name

"Laxus," You groaned, "stop stealing my food!"

"Not my fault," Laxus smirked, "you eat too slow."

The guild was thriving with conversations. There hasn't been a fight yet, thank God, but it was still pretty lively in Fairy Tail.

You were sitting at a round table with your boyfriend of six months, Laxus Dreyar, and his personal team, The Thunder Legion. You ordered some pizza and boneless buffalo wings from the bar, and was currently in the process of devouring them.

However, your boyfriend thought it'd be funny to mess with you by snatching food off of your plate and eating it.

"Well, I wouldn't want to choke, now would I?" You said calmly, taking deep breaths, through your nose, to control the irritation that was flooding your system.

"Nope." Laxus continued to smirk at you, grabbing another buffalo wing and tossing it into his mouth.

"Laxus." You growled in warning.

"Okay, okay, I'll stop." He surrendered. "And we were just getting to the good part."

"No," You corrected, "we were getting to the part where (Y/N) commits murder."

"But (Y/N) would never do that, now would she?"

"If you touch my food again, I will."

"Even if you love me?" Laxus raised an eyebrow.

"Love knows no bounds, Laxus."

The blond smiles to himself, nodding in satisfaction. What a woman! He thought.

"Hey, guys!" Bickslow, who was sitting to your left, whispered to you and Laxus. "Look at Freed!"

You and your boyfriend looked across the table and saw Freed staring off into space.

"What did you do to him, Ever?" Laxus wondered.

"Me?" Evergreen, who was sitting to Laxus' right, gasped, "I didn't do anything!"

"Then why is he frozen like a statue?"

"I don't know!"

"I know." You spoke up, earning the table's, except for Freed's, attention. You pointed at Freed and then moved your finger, following the mage's line of sight.

It was Mirajane.

Freed was gawking at the female bartender. His mouth was slightly open, his eyes had a sparkle in them, and he simply looked fascinated by the S-Class Take-Over wizard.

Looks like somebody caught some feelings. You hummed in your head.

Turning your attention back to Freed, you smirked. "Mr. Justine," You teased, earning a hum from Freed. "could it be that you have a crush on sweet Mira?"

"Wha-" He gasped, his eyes snapping towards you. His cheeks were covered in a light red blush, as he looked quite embarrassed. "W-What are you talking about, (Y/N)?"

"You know," Bickslow commented with a grin, "I always thought you had a thing for Laxus."

"Excuse me?" The blond grunted, turning his nose up in disgust.

"I did too." Evergreen said, agreeing with Bickslow.

"What?" Laxus turned to Evergreen, surprised.

"Yeah," You sighed, "me too."

"(Y/N), you too!?" Laxus was uttely shocked.

"For your information," Freed finally spoke up, "I respect Laxus. As we all should. He's our leader, of course."

"But do you like Mira?" You asked, "That's the question!"

"I-" Freed started to blush again and he turned his head, trying to hide the blush.

"You liiiiiiiike her!" Bickslow purred.

"S-Shut up, Bickslow!" Freed stuttered.

"There's no need to be shy." Evergreen smiled, finding this amusing.

"Evergreen's right!" You nodded. "And if you let me, I'll be glad to hook you guys up."

"When did you turn into a matchmaker?" Laxus smirked at you.

"Just now." You grinned.

"Guys, I'm fine." Freed mumbled. "Really."

"Nonsense!" You said, standing to your feet. You left the table and walked over to the bar where Mira was, cleaning the dishes.

"Hey, Mira!" You greeted with a smile.

"Hey, (Y/N)!" Mira greeted back, also smiling. "Things seem pretty lively over at your table."

"Yeah, well, that's because Laxus kept stealing my food." You rolled your eyes. "But you know, Mira, I've been thinking. Ever since I started dating Laxus, I've noticed the little things more." I hope this is making sense. You tell yourself. "I want to help my single friends get dates and be happy, just like I am!"

"Aww, well, that's really sweet of you, (Y/N)."

"And I was hoping to start with you."

"Me?" Mira stared at you. "Why me?"

"Because you're always working at the bar." You said, "You should get out and have fun once in a while."

"But, then who would serve everyone?"

"I'm sure Erza won't mind filling in for you."

"Is that so?" Mira giggled. "Hey, Erza," She shouted at the redhead, "I'm taking the rest of the day off! You won't mind watching the bar for me, will you?"

"Where exactly are you going?" Erza shouted back, narrowing her eyes.

"(Y/N)'s going to find me a date!"

"Seriously?" Erza's eyes widened. "Can you do me next?"

Instead of answering, you gave her a thumbs up.

"Alright, Mira, wait here while I find you a date." You said. She nodded and you walked back over to your team.

"C'mon, Laxus."

"What?" Your boyfriend looked over his shoulder at you. "Where are we going?"

"To set up Freed and Mira's date, obviously."

"Why do I gotta go?" He groaned.

"Because I'm your girlfriend and I said so." You folded your arms over your chest.

"She played the girlfriend card on you, buddy!" Bickslow laughed.

"Shut up." Laxus grumbled. He stood to his feet and stared down at you. You grinned up at him, finding this to be amusing. "You better be glad that I love you." He grumbled under his breath as he walked past you and towards the door.

But you still heard him.

You and Laxus walked through Magnolia, stopping by various stores and buying what was necessary.

And you made Laxus carry everything.

But he didn't complain. At least, not out loud.

Once everything was set up, you literally dragged Laxus back to Fairy Tail. Bursting through the doors, you shouted, "Mira, I found him!"

Your outburst gained the attention of the entire guild, but you were solely focused on Mira.

"You did?" Mira raised an eyebrow. She came from behind the bar and looked around you. "Where is he?"

"He's waiting for you." You said.

"He is." Mira gasped. "Oh dear, I should probably get going."

You nodded, "He's waiting for you there." Slipping a piece of paper into her hand, you sent Mira on her way.

Now, it was Freed's turn.

You ran to the table where the Thunder Legion was still sitting, and threw a balled up piece of paper at Freed's head.

"Go! Now!" You commanded.

"Go where?" He mumbled, rubbing his head.

"The place on the paper!" You shouted.

"She's really passionate about this." Laxus said from behind you. "And we spent a lot of time and money for your little date, so get off your butt and go to Mira!"

"U-Uh . ." Freed stuttered, blushing slightly. "Thanks." He mumbled before dashing out of the guild.

TEN MINUTES LATER . . .

"Oh, wow . ." Mira stared in awe at the scene before her. "This is beautiful."

On a mountaintop, there was a small round table with a white cloth over it. Two wine glasses, two plates with utensils, a dish in the center of the table (which was covered), two lit candles, and two chairs were present.

And looking over the edge of the cliff, Mira could see the city's lights as the sun set.

Then a branch snapped.

Mira turned around and was greeted by a familiar face.

"Freed?"

The green haired gentleman scratched the back of his head as his cheeks turned red. "Hi, Mira."

"I see," She smiled, "so you're my date."

"Yeah." He laughed nervously. "I hope that's okay."

"It's perfectly fine."

"You-You see . . ." Freed's blush darkened. "I've liked you for a while a-and (Y/N) decided to help, s-so . . ."

Mira giggled at Freed's embarrassment. "I understand." She gestured to the table, "Care to join me?"

MEANWHILE AT FAIRY TAIL . .

"I wonder how Freed's date is going." Bickslow thought aloud.

"It better be excellent." You sassed. It was killing you on the inside. You wanted to know how things were going, and waiting was making you antsy.

You had ordered more boneless buffalo wings from the bar to help calm your nerves, but all you could think about was the date you prepared.

From the corner of your eye, however, you saw Laxus grab a buffalo wing and toss it in his mouth.

"Laxus, I thought we talked about this."
