Kaoru's POV

I wanted attention. No, I wasn't much of an attention whore, but sometimes I needed to have all the focus on me, specifically from Kojiro. He was at the restaurant all day, but I knew I couldn't get any attention from him there, so I waited for him to get home.

I heard the door open and close, signaling that Kojiro was home. I jumped up from the couch and walked over to him with a smile. "Welcome Home, Baby."

"Hey, babe," he smiled, pressing a kiss to my cheek.

"Did you have a good day?" I asked, leaning against him and tracing the buttons on his uniform.

"I did, but I'm better now that I'm home," he grinned. I shook my head at him.

"Stupid," I mumbled but didn't move.

"Cmon, let's go eat," he said, then picked me up bridal style. I squealed and hit at his chest a few times.

"I have legs, you stupid gorilla!" I shouted, but he never put me down until we got to the kitchen. He set me up on top of the counter and pressed a quick kiss to my lips.

"What do you want to eat?" Kojiro asked, rummaging through the fridge.

"Do we have leftovers?" I asked, trying to get a view into the fridge, but he was so damn large.

"We do," he said and pulled them out of the fridge. He worked around me and put the leftovers on two plates, then began heating one up in the microwave. He walked back over to me and situated himself between my legs. He wrapped his arms around my waist and leaned up to kiss me.

"I missed you," he mumbled, pressing his lips against mine. I kissed back, wrapping my arms around his shoulders.

"I missed you too," I mumbled back after pulling away. The microwave beeped, so Kojiro took one plate out and put the other one in. He made his way back over to me. He lifted me up and held me in his arms. I wrapped my legs around his waist and nuzzled my face into his neck.

"You smell good," I muttered, inhaling whatever nice scent he had on him.

"I tried a new cologne today," he smiled, "Glad you like it."

I began placing small kisses on his neck, occasionally nipping at the skin. Kojiro yelped at a particularly harsh bite, then set me down in a chair. I whined, reaching back up to him.

"Calm down, babe. We need to eat first," he chuckled. I pouted but accepted my plate. I ate as fast as possible, just wanting all of his attention on me, and only me. Kojiro glanced up at me once I set my utensils down and sent me a small smirk.

"Impatient, are we?" He teased. I crossed my arms and one leg over the other as I looked away. He smirked a little bit. "I get it. You want attention."

I pouted a little bit but refused to look at him.

"C'mere babe," he reached his arms out. I glanced at him from the side but didn't move. He stuck his bottom lip out at me. "Please?" He whined a little bit.

I huffed and uncrossed my legs and arms. I got up and made myself comfortable in his lap by straddling his hips. "Stupid gorilla," I muttered quietly.

"Let me give you all the attention in the world," Kojiro smiled, placing small kisses to my face. My cheeks flushed red as I tried to cover my face. He gently pulled my hands away from my face and placed a sweet kiss on my lips.

"Whatever," I grumbled, wrapping my arms around his neck. Kojiro smiled more and lifted me up as he stood, supporting my ass with his hands. He carried me to our bedroom and tossed me on the bed, then tackled me and smothered my face and neck in kisses. I continued to blush hard and tried to get his body off of mine, because damnit he was heavy.

After a few minutes, Kojiro rolled over and pulled me into his chest. "I love you," he said, kissing the top of my head.

"I love you too, stupid," I muttered, closing my eyes. I relaxed enough to fall asleep in the position we were in.

The next morning, I woke up to see Kojiro sleeping soundly next to me, and I was in my pajamas. I smiled softly at the man next to me, then pressed a kiss to the top of his head before I got up. I went to make breakfast, even though I'm not as good of a cook, to start his day right.
