"You've got some nerve avoiding me after that night"

Hannah said slightly angry making her way in front of Alastor.

"It was a one time thing my dear, no need to overthink your predicament"

He said making his way past her.

"Excuse me? My predicament?"

Hannah asked with a scoff as she followed behind him.

"Listen here, I'm sure you see yourself as some big shot but newsflash, you're not"

"That's your opinion"

He said with a slight chuckle. Hannah pouted.

"Look, We haven't met, and that's okay, Cause you will be asking for me one day. Don't wanna wait in line. The moment is mine believe me"

She said. Alastor simply closed his eyes as he continued on his way.

"Don't close, your eyes, cause it's a chance worth takin' and I think that I can shake it"

She said making her way in front of him causing him to stop and open his eyes as he looked at her in surprise.

"After our encounter I remembered something from a very long time ago"

He said catching Hannah by surprise.

"What did you remember?"

"It was about you"

"Me?"

She asked in confusion.

"Indeed I did"

He said as he moved to the side and continued on his way. Hannah stood there even more confused before following after him. Alastor soon led her to his room. He open the door and gestures her to go in. He then made his way to his table and sat down as he moved his arm across the table there sat two cups of coffee and a kettle.

"Care for some coffee?"

He offered as he pick his up before giving it a sip. Hannah looked to him in bewilderment before sitting across from him and picking up her own cup, taking a sip.

"Mmmm it's delicious"

She commented.

"Isn't it though? Some people hate this flavor"

He said with a smile towards her.

"It's a bit strong but right now I need it"

She said returning her smile. A moment of silence passed between them until Alastor cleared his throat.

"Let me tell you a story"

"Coming from you, it's gotta be good"

She said making Alastor chuckle.

"Now listen, there was a boy and girl standing in front of each other.

'I love you'

The boy said with a smile. The girl gasp in shock before quickly running away leaving the boy heartbroken"

"That's so sad. Is that what happened to you when you were human"

Hannah asked sadly to look at him. Alastor cleared up his throat once more.

"You don't understand, that little girl was you"

"Me?"

She asked in a surprised tone as she frown in thought before her eyes open wide in shock.

"No, it can't be"

She said looking at Alastor up and down.

"Al?"

She asked. Alastor simply nodded.

"But how...how did you become like this?"

She asked in shock.

"After you ran off, I was heartbroken. I couldn't handle the pain, so I made a deal with a demon"

"Wait? I ran off? I didn't run off"

Hannah said with a frown.

"Of course you did, I told you I love you and you simply ran away"

"I ran away because I forgot it was your birthday and I had a gift that I left at home. Once I retrieved the gift, I ran back to find you and you weren't there."

She said sadly. Alastor frowned.

"You came back?"

"Of course I did, you were my best friend, my first crush, my first kiss, my first..."

Hannah stopped before letting out a sigh as she stood up making her way to the nearby balcony.

"I was heartbroken too, I couldn't bear the thought of never seeing you again. So I committed suicide. I've been here so long walking around hell and the only thing that kept my spirit up was the radio broadcast"

She said crossing her arms over her chest.

"My radio broadcast, dear"

He said causing Hannah to look to him in surprise.

"You're in charge of that too?"

"Why of course, my face was made for radio instead of that noisy picture box"

He said as he stood up making his way to Hannah.

"I can't believe it. We're actually here, together"

She said as she was about to embrace him but he immediately hold out his hand to stop her.

"Times have changed my dear, I don't like to be touched"

He said placing his hands behind his back as he looked out to the balcony. Hannah couldn't help but stare at her long time friend before looking out towards the decaying city in flames.

"Is there a way, we can start over Al?"

She asked quietly before looking at him.

"I don't see why not"

Alastor said with a smile as he looked at her causing Hannah to smile back.

"Oh and also I have a companion who will be arriving tomorrow, do try to be nice to her, I hate it when she's cranky and then takes it out on me"

He said.

"I'll be on my best behavior"

"Excellent my dear"

He said enthusiastically as he made his way back to his room.

"Now would you excuse me, I have some business to deal with"

He said opening the door for Hannah. Hannah got the message loud and clear as she smiled with a nod.

"I'll see you at dinner"

She commented as she left.

**With Hannah**

"Hi Charlie, I would like a favor to ask"

She said.

"Sure, what is it?"

"Well I was wondering, since you already have Husk as your bartender and Nifty as your maid. I was wondering if I can be the cook. You know in charge of everyone's meal"

"Are you sure you want to do that? I mean you don't have to"

"Consider it as employment"

"Well okay then, officially from here on out, you will be our cook"

Charlie said with a smile as Hannah smiled back as she shook her hand.
