Park Jimin's POV~

We were playing 20 questions and I thought this was right time to do this. It's not like I want to but Dad told me to.

But when she said 'yes' I was a bit happy and I don't know why. I then hugged her. While I was pulling back I heard a  clicking sound. What was that!? I decided ignore it.

We sat in the car and I started driving. I can feel that she is looking at me, no, more like staring at me which made me smile inwardly.

We reached the restaurant and I pulled the chair out for her and she sat on it. I sat opposite to her.

"What do you want sir and madam?" A waitress came and asked us. Thank god! She looks decent trying not to seduce me.

"What do you want?" I asked Y/N.

She read the menu for a few seconds.

"Lasagna" she said.

Wow! I thought she would order a salad or something. Good to know that she doesn't diet!

"You sir?" The waitress asked me.

"Japchae" I said and she left.

There was awkward silence between us until the food arrived.

We ate the food and she thanked me for treating her.

I paid the bill and we walked out of the restaurant.

I stopped the car. We reached her house. She was about the open the car door but I told her to wait. I opened the car door, stepped out of the car and waked towards the passenger side. I opened the door and offered my hand. She took it and stepped out.

Jung Y/N's POV~

He stepped out of the car and opened the passenger door for me. He gave me his hand. I took it and stepped out of the car. We both stood there awkwardly without talking.

"Okay then, I'll take my leave then" he said breaking the silence.

"Okay" I said and gave him a hug. His body has stiffened because of the sudden physical contact but he immediately relaxed.

He hugged me back and we both  backed out after a few seconds.

"Go inside" he said.

I smiled. He is very protective and kind. I then bidded him a good bye and walked inside after the security opened the gate of our mansion. I turned back after ringing the door bell and waved at him. He waved back. He stepped inside the car and drove way.

The door opened and I walked inside. As soon as I entered the living room, my parents and my brother started yelling my name and asked me questions continuously making me cup my ears to reduce the sound going through my ears. But it didn't work.

"Stop it!" I shouted. They all stopped immediately.

"I am tired guys. I'll talk to you later" I said and started walking. I climbed thr stairs and went inside my room. Putting my bag on the vanity table and my phone on the nightstand beside my bed, I sat on the bed and looked at my ring finger. It's a beautiful diamond ring. It shines bright because of the dim light which is coming out from the light bulb. I stared at it in awe.

After staring it for a few more minutes, I walked inside the bathroom and took a long shower which made me feel relaxed. I came out of the bathroom after wearing a bathrobe and walked inside the closet. I just wore a tee and a sweatpant and came out of the room.

I was descending the stairs when I heard my dad talking to my mom about how this marriage is important for us. I stayed there and heard their conversation.

"Y/N made me proud my accepting the proposal" he said and that's when I knew that I made a right choice by agreeing to marry Jimin.

I descended the stairs and went to the dining hall. I sat on one of the chairs and I noticed that Hobi oppa is no where to be seen.

"Hoseok went to meet his friends" mom said as if she was reading my brain.

"Oh" I said.

"Did everything go well today?" My dad asked.

"Yes Dad" I smiled a little.

"Y/N, are you sure about this?" My dad asked he said glancing at my finger. My mom noticed it and looked at my finger.

"OMO!!" She shouted and squealed like a teenager.

I smiled at her behaviour and turned to dad giving him a reassuring look.

*Next morning*

"Good morning Y/N-ie!" Hobi oppa greeted me as I was sitting on the chair to eat my breakfast.

"Good morning oppa!" I greeted back.

"How was yesterday?" He asked me while smirking and looking at the engagement ring.

"Everything went fine" I replied trying not to blush.

After we completed eating our breakfast, we sat on the couch on the living room. I was going through my social media account and Hobi oppa switched on the TV as today was a day off at work.

"THE CEO OF PEARL TECH., PARK JIMIN SHI AND THE DAUGHTER OF THE CEO OF MAZE INDUSTRIES, JUNG Y/N SHI WERE SPOTTED NEAR THE HAN RIVER YESTERDAY.

I looked up and watched the TV with wide eyes. There was picture of Jimin kneeling down with the ring in hand and me standing in front of him. Oh fuck!

"It was reported by one of the reporters saying that Park Jimin shi and Jung Y/N shi were found spending time together near the Han river and after talking to each other for a few minutes, it was reported that Park Jimin shi proposed Jung Y/N shi.

Jung Y/N shi gladly accepted it and they both looked happy as you can see in the picture"

I was speechless! Oh my god! They found out! They fucking found out!

I looked at Hobi oppa and he looked back at me with the same shocked expression as mine.

Park Jimin's POV~

I woke up and came downstairs to eat breakfast. I was about to go into the dining room when Jihyun shouted my name. I went into the living room to find Jihyun and mom reading a newspaper with shocked expression.

I went near them and they gave me the newspaper.

My eyes widened after looking at the article.

"Maze Industries' CEO's daughter, Jung Y/N and Pearl Tech.'s CEO Park Jimin are now engaged"

I read the whole article and there were many pictures of us.

I never thought that I would fall in love with you guys. You guys changed my thoughts, my personality, my life. You guys changed me! Thank you for taking away most of my sadness from me! Thank you for making me love myself!
