As you read this, know that I'm utterly grateful. This series has been very challenging in many ways. It survived the pandemic, and helped me stay sane by writing it. As a nurse, my experience in the last two years was something I would never forget, both professionally and personally. The Sutherland series gave me a different kind of purpose while I fought the pandemic with everyone else. It gave me a space where I could create things in a time when I barely had control of what was going on. And this series would not have had a conclusion either if not for you and your support.

While I did have the plot and my outline ready, I would have lost the drive to finish this series without the support from readers. Your comments and engagement helped me a lot, gave me the right amount of inspiration to push through.

I've always planned this series as a groundwork for future ones. I have now created a world--a kingdom--with its own history. And from that history, many other stories shall surface. I've already started that with A Stark Mismatch, which showed a different side of Sutherland. And I've just started to show more about other people not directly related to the characters in this series with my new family series, Abberton.

But, of course, to those who had been reading my works for years, I will never stay long writing about quirky, feel-good family stories like the Abberton series. As someone who thrives on mystery/thriller with a dash of romance, you can be assured that there will be more.
