The Vampire's Path (11)

Jin was still crying in his bed when suddenly his bedroom door opened and Jungkook appeared there with his innocent face, he looked at Jin who was crying and Jin immediately jumped off the bed and hugged Jungkook who was still standing near the bedroom door.

"I thought you were gone, I thought you left me, I thought I would lose you," Jin continued to cry in Jungkook's arms and wet his shoulders.

"Do you love me? You cry because you think I left you, you must love me Jin," Jungkook hugged Jin's body and kissed the side of Jin's head, making Jin tighten his embrace even more.

"I'm not going anywhere, I promised you, I won't leave you," Jungkook said and Jin let go of his arms to look at Jungkook in front of him.

"Don't cry, you make me sad if you cry, last night I did go out when you were asleep, I tried to find them and managed to meet Mingyu, luckily he didn't run away when I called him, he said my parents were worried about me, they always come here but never found me, then I told everything to Mingyu, and I asked him to show me the way home, but I didn't go there, I just told Mingyu that I will come back when it's time, and asked my parents to stop worrying about me, because I'll be fine, and don't come looking for me again," Jungkook said while wiping Jin's tears.

"Why don't you come back when you've found your way home? You said you missed them, you missed your world." Jin said.

"Aish, you told me to leave but you're crying like this, I won't be able to leave you again if I know that without my presence by your side, it will make you this sad, I'm sorry," Jungkook said.

"Have you sipped your blood today?" Jin said and Jungkook just shook his head.

"I'm so thirsty, I just came back and immediately went into the room to see you but I saw you crying like this, ah you hurt my heart," Jungkook acted in pain by holding his chest, and that made Jin hit his forehead gently.

"Don't make fun of me like that, I'm just used to your presence, but I'll learn to get used to it without you," Jin said.

"Trust me, you won't get used to it without me," Jungkook said, he looked at Jin before kissing him, but Jin pushed Jungkook's body away.

"I'll prepare your breakfast, take a shower first, you must be tired from walking all night," Jin said and he immediately came out of his room.

Thinking about what Jungkook said, if he probably won't be able to get used to being without Jungkook, it seems that it's true, it's too painful to imagine his days without Jungkook. Even though he's more used to living his life alone, and just having fun with Yoongi, his best friend. But now his life has changed since Jungkook was there, there are parts and voids filled with Jungkook's presence, and maybe it will create a space in Jin's heart when Jungkook chooses to return to his world.

After they finished breakfast, Jungkook was still in the bathroom to clean his mouth while Jin was still washing dirty dishes in the kitchen, and at that time his doorbell rang. Jin glanced towards the door before turning towards his room.

"Jungkook, can you please open the door for me? It's probably Yoongi," Jin said but he didn't hear a response, so Jin finally decided to open it himself.

But when the door opened, Jin was quite surprised to see two people standing in front of him, a woman and a man whom Jin didn't know.

"Oh hi, who are you? Did you come to the wrong place? Or-"

"Where is our son?" the man said.

"Your son? Who are you looking for?" Jin said.

"Don't hide our son!" The woman said in a fairly high tone.

"I can rip your neck if I want, better return my son now before that happens!" The man said and hearing the commotion, Jungkook, who came out of the room, was shocked when he saw his parents there, they looked angry when they stood up to Jin and Jungkook immediately ran to protect Jin.

"Mom, Dad," Jungkook said and Jin was so shocked, his tears were already running down his cheeks as his body was shaking from being too scared to see their sudden presence.

"We are disappointed with you Jeon Jungkook! We're home right now! I didn't bring you here to be a human prisoner like him!" Mr. Jeon said.

"No Dad, I'm not going home," Jungkook said, he held Jin's shaking hand, Jin stood beside Jungkook.

"Don't make me angry Jungkook, do you want to see him die in front of you!" Mr. Jeon said and when he wanted to attack Jin, Jungkook immediately stood between them to stop his father from hurting Jin.

"If you killed him you killed me," Jungkook said.

"Jungkook!" Mrs. Jeon said.

"Jungkook, please come with them, I'm fine," Jin said.

"I made a promise and I didn't break my word," Jungkook said.

"Do you want to know? A human like you can't live with a Vampire, the stake is your own life, no human will survive a Vampire's bite, you will die and we will live forever, that's the reality so don't hold him to survive, he should have killed you from the start, what did you do him huh?" Mr. Jeon said.

"I-"

"Dad, it's me, not him! I can't drink human blood I tried! I've even tasted his blood but I can't! Even my damn fangs aren't showing! I'm broken, Dad! So don't blame others for your own son's mistakes!" Jungkook said.

"Enough Jungkook! I don't accept any excuses, come with us or I'll make you regret choosing him over your own family!" Mr. Jeon said.

"Jungkook, Mommy please come with me, we miss you, we can fix everything and we will find out why your fangs haven't grown yet, but not here, we can't find anything here, come on baby," Mrs. Jeon said.

"It's okay," Jin whispered behind Jungkook in a very low voice.

"Jin—"

"I know you will come back and find me again like that night, it's okay," Jin said.

"Don't make me angry Jungkook, you know what will happen if you make me angry and choose to stay with him," Mr. Jeon said.

"I won't cry I promise," Jin said.

"Jungkook-"

"Fine! I'm coming with you but give me some time to talk to Jin!" Jungkook slammed the door in front of his parents and turned around to see Jin who had been crying since earlier with his body shaking.

Jungkook hugged him tightly as if to comfort him.

"It's okay, I'm okay Jungkook, go, don't make your mom and dad angry, I'll be waiting for you, you know where my house is and you know where I work, you also know Yoongi, so you won't get lost if you come back to my world, I'll-"

"Stop talking!" Jungkook said and Jin was just silent in Jungkook's arms, Jungkook pulled himself away and looked at Jin.

"Listen and remember this carefully," Jungkook said and Jin nodded.

"I'll be back soon, I promise I'll be back and we'll be together as usual, I still have blood stock here so I'll be back to finish it, and I have you here, the reason I have to come back. There is my home, but this is where I should be, with you, don't get hurt as long as I'm not beside you, because if you get hurt I will feel it too, and remember, don't come home too late, they can appear anytime maybe even before midnight, you can recognize them if you look into their eyes, there is a red glow in the eyes of Vampires, like me, you can see it?" Jungkook said and Jin nodded.

"The glow won't show up in the light, so you have to be careful and don't open the door for Yoongi! I don't want you to be alone with him here, don't call him either, I'm coming back so don't go anywhere, ok?" Jin nodded again.

"I love you Jin," and Jin again shed tears.

"I love you too," Jin tried to pull the smile off his face to make Jungkook not worry about him.

Jungkook kissed Jin and it seemed like the kiss was a sign of goodbye for them. Because Jin was sure of what his parents did at that time, Jungkook would never return to Jin. But when Jungkook wanted to pull away, Jin held him back and pulled Jungkook's head to kiss him again, and the kiss getting deepest, Jin cried into the kiss.

"I'll be right back," Jungkook said as Jin released him.

"I'll be waiting for you," Jin said and Jungkook left after kissing Jin's forehead.
