The Mute's Story (8)

Seokjin's POV

Finally today I returned to Seoul there is no better than my home because setting foot in Seoul made me remember that day when he touched me and took the most valuable thing from my life. Like trash, he threw me away. I arrived at my dorm and when I entered I was surprised to see Hoseok and a man sleeping together in his bed, with no clothes on his body, only a blanket covering their bodies, the man woke up and saw me, then Hoseok woke up after.

"Oh he's dumb, ignore him, he won't bother," Hoseok said and he went back to sleep hugging the guy, I'm sure it wasn't that annoying guy who always bullied me. But aren't they together?

I just cleaned myself up and went for my second class, I missed my morning class but that's okay, I can join the next class as I was heading towards the campus building, my steps stopped when I saw that guy near the entrance with his two friends. He looked at me and I just looked down as I passed him like he was invisible. But he ran and grabbed my hand, took me somewhere, and pushed me against the wall, it made me so scared and my tears started to flow, I remember that fear was the same as I felt that night.

"Don't think I did that to you because I like you, it's not going to happen! And listen to me carefully, no one should know about what happened between us! You understand, dumbass?" He said and I just nodded, I didn't want to look at him because it just scared me.

"Good, now go!" He said and I immediately left there while wiping my tears. I don't want to remember either but how? How can I forget that dark incident? I have to die to forget it. But I can't die now. My two younger brothers need me.

I entered my class and Jimin immediately approached me, he hugged me and immediately invited me to sit beside him.

"Jin, are you okay? I miss you so much, you haven't replied to my messages for the past few days and I'm worried, did something happen to your family?" Jimin said and I wrote something on my phone and showed it to Jimin.

"My father died because his ship was lost in the middle of the sea and I had to accompany my younger brothers in Busan, but I'm okay, I have to continue my studies for them,"

"Oh Jin I'm sorry, you have to be strong Jin, just remember, I'm always here and whatever you need you can tell me, I'll help you, okay?" Jimin said and I just nodded with a smile on my face. No one can help us other than ourselves, that's what I thought.

We finished class as usual, I had to go to the toilet before following Jimin to the library, and when I entered the toilet I saw Hoseok already there, I don't remember when he came to campus because I only saw him in the dorm sleeping with a man. But I passed him and entered the cubicle until I heard something outside.

"Jungkook, please at least you have to listen to me, it's not like what you see, I didn't do anything, I love you Jungkook, please, I don't want to break up like this" I'm sure it was Hoseok's voice, I can't come out at a time like that, it will make them awkward.

"Are you deaf? I don't give a second chance to a traitor, if you think I'm stupid you're wrong, obviously that time you kissed him Hoseok! And you said nothing happened between you two, bullshit!" That voice? isn't that a man? So his name is Jungkook?

"No! listen to me first, I didn't do it on purpose and--"

"Enough! Don't ever touch me with your dirty hands you bitch!" Jungkook said and the sound of the door slamming made me flinch and I slowly opened the door and walked out of the cubicle.

Hoseok turned to me with a sinister look before exiting the toilet. I washed my hands before meeting Jimin at the library. When I got there, I saw the man, Jungkook approaching Jimin and talking to him, it was the first time I saw them talk, were they that close?

I walked over to Jimin and Jungkook just looked at me before leaving, he didn't say anything, he didn't even make fun of me like he used to do. I sat across from Jimin and he looked at me.

"What is it?" Jimin said and I just shook my head.

"Jin, does he bother you a lot? Jungkook" Jimin said and I just fell silent.

"Tell me if he bothers you I will scold him," Jimin said and I wrote something on my phone.

"You know him?"

"Of course, he's my stepbrother, my dad married his mom, and we got close, but not that close," Jimin says and I'm just shocked to hear that, how come they are so different? like an angel and a devil in one family.
