Chapter 4

Inside the ward, Jin sat beside his beloved mother's bed, holding her hand. Finally, he was able to take his mother to the hospital for more intensive treatment, the doctor suggested chemotherapy as the only way to cure his mother even though the possibility was only small, it was because of the stage of the brain cancer that his mother had reached the highest limit and the doctor could not guarantee anything for her recovery, only a miracle can give her life.

Hearing that, Jin felt very sad, he knew that possibility must exist, he would lose his mother forever but that's not what he wanted to hear for now. He just wanted his mother to be able to receive good treatment in the right hands.

"Jin, where did you get this much money for my treatment?" his mother said.

"Mom, you know that I work? I know maybe the salary I get isn't much but I save it little by little and I do that for you, so don't worry about anything, hm?" Jin said.

"You worked hard for this, you shouldn't have to take me to the hospital, I'm more comfortable at home," his mother said.

"Mom, you need to get well, because that's all I want, you are there for me in good health, at least I don't want to see you as bad as where you just lie at home without any treatment," Jin said.

"Thank you, my sweetheart," his mother said.

"I love you, Mom, please stay with you hm?" Jin said and he just held his mother's hand tightly.

Jin had just finished taking care of administration when Ken called him, Jin was supposed to come to campus that day but he came a little late because he took his mother first or maybe he wouldn't go to campus if he was too busy taking care of his mother.

"Hello?" Jin said.

"Are you still in the hospital?" Ken said.

"Yes, what is up?" Jin said.

"Did you forget that today we have to collect assignments? I don't want to disturb your time with your mother but--"

"Oh I forgot, okay I'll be going to campus soon after this, thank you for reminding me," Jin said, he hung up the phone from Ken and rushed to his mother's room.

He saw his mother who was sleeping, just looking at her face made Jin unable to hold back his tears, his mother was very thin and pale, and he hoped that his mother would be much better after the treatment he was given. Jin kissed his mother's forehead before leaving her.

Jin returned to his house to take his assignment, he also prepared to go to campus and changed clothes before leaving, on the bus, his mind was divided into two, his mother and that man, yes Jeon Jungkook. It was strange to think of a foreign man in his head, moreover, all he could think about was his touch, nothing else.

But Jin immediately shook his head, he didn't want to keep drifting with that thought, he would never meet Jungkook again, it was the first and last time he met him, and the money he gave was enough to live his life. He can't say he regrets giving his virginity to Jungkook because he enjoyed it and it's hard to find another man who can do the same thing as Jungkook.

Jin arrived at his campus, he missed the first two classes that day and was about to enter the third class, so he immediately entered his class and saw Ken already there, gathered with the others and when he turned towards Jin, he immediately approached Jin.

"Hey," Ken said.

"Hey," Jin said.

"How is your mother?" Ken said.

"I hope my mom is okay in the hospital and her condition is getting better," Jin said.

"I hope so, and Jin," Ken said and Jin turned towards Ken.

"What?" Jin said.

"I know it's not the right time but...Jungkook wants to see you again," Ken said.

"Oh really? Ken you know my body still hurts and look at my neck, the color hasn't even faded yet, and he wants to see me again, thank you but no," Jin said.

"But it seems he wants to meet you not for sex, Jin," Ken said.

"Then what for? I'm just a playmate and he doesn't need to meet me outside of that," Jin said.

"Yeah, I know, but--"

"Ken, I just need money and I already got what I want, even though he's amazing but I'm not a prostitute and I won't do it like my job," Jin said and Ken just kept quiet.

Finally class ended quickly, Jin and Ken came out of class, Jin wanted to get ready to go home because he had to work, but their steps stopped when Jin saw Jungkook already waiting outside his campus building.

"Ken," Jin turned to Ken who just smiled at him.

"Oh god, you told him to come here?" Jin said.

"Of course, I didn't tell him, he just asked where my campus was and I told him, I'll go first, good luck Jin, bye," Ken said and he left before Jin could curse him.

Jin couldn't even avoid it because Jungkook had already seen him, he approached Jungkook who was standing near his car.

"Hey," Jungkook said.

"Oh hi, what are you doing here?" Jin said.

"Ken said you didn't want to meet me, so I met you here," Jungkook said.

"Aish that kid, but Jungkook, I think I served you yesterday and I don't need to do anything else today because your money is more than enough and my mom is already in the hospital," Jin said.

"Oh thank god," Jungkook said.

"Then I'll go home first, I have to get ready for work tonight," Jin said.

"Wait," Jungkook holds his hand.

"What is it?" Jin said.

"Let me take you home, I'm already here, I don't want to just leave," Jungkook said and Jin had no choice but to accept his offer.
