In the helicarrier hallways, a dozen of SHIELD agents escort Loki, who is in handcuffs, smiling. As they pass the Helicarrier lab, Banner stops working on the Chutauri scepter and looks up. Loki eyes him as he walks, nodding and smiling. Bruce rubs his head.

"You should have said something Brucie," Lydia tells the scientist who sighs as he nods at the girl.

Loki is now free from his cuffs and is contained in a large glass cell held by hydraulic rigs. Fury walks up to the control panel of the cell.

"In case it's unclear. You try to escape. You so much as scratch that glass," Fury tells him as she presses a button that opens up a hatch underneath Loki's cell.

Loki peers as much as he can from the glass. Without seeing but he hears the sounds of gusting wind.

"Thirty thousand feet, straight down in a steel trap. You get how that works?" Fury asks as he closes the hatch and then points at Loki.

"Ant," Fury tells him before he points at the button which would drop Loki into the steel trap.

"Boot," Fury tells him.

"Damn! Go, Papa Fury!" Lydia yells as she eats her popcorn making Loki scoff at her words.

"It's an impressive cage. Not built, I think, for me," Loki says smirking.

"Built for something a lot stronger than you," Fury tells Loki.

"Oh, I've heard," Loki says as he looks into the camera.

In the briefing room, the others watch on the monitor of Loki getting interrogated. Banner looks at the monitor, intently.

"The mindless beast makes play he's still a man. How desperate are you, that you call upon such lost creatures to defend you?" Loki asks Fury looking at him.

"Hulk is not a beast," Lydia says pouting as Bruce smiles at her.

"How desperate am I? You threaten my world with war. You steal a force you can't hope to control. You talk about peace and you kill 'cause it's fun. You have made me very desperate. You might not be glad that you did," Fury tells Loki looking him in the eyes.

"Ooh. It burns you to come so close. To have the Tesseract, to have power, unlimited power. And for what? A warm light for all mankind to share, and then to be reminded what real power is," Loki tells him as Fury smiles at him.

"Well, you let me know if Real Power wants a magazine or something," Fury tells him as he walks off leaving Loki in his glass cell. Loki looks back at the camera, smirking.

"You look creepy doing that," Lydia tells Loki who scoffs at the girl who shrugs.

In the briefing room, Steve watches until the monitor goes black. Thor, who didn't even look, just listened, stands there torn. They all just stand there in stunned silence.

"You left them speechless," Lydia says laughing at the avengers who roll their eyes at the girl but with a fond smiles on their faces.

"He really grows on you, doesn't he?" Bruce asks the group his face full of sarcasm.

"Loki's gonna drag this out. So, Thor, what's his play?" Steve asks looking at the God of Thunder.

"He has an army called the Chitauri. They're not of Asgard or any world known. He means to lead them against your people. They will win him the earth. In return, I suspect, for the Tesseract," Thor tells the group as they look at him.

"An army? From outer space?" Steve asks shocked.

"So he's building another portal. That's what he needs Erik Selvig for," Bruce says making Thro turn to him.

"Selvig?" Thor asks him making Bruce nod looking at the man.

"He's an astrophysicist," Bruce tells him thinking Thor didn't know him.

"He's a friend," Thor corrects Bruce.

"Loki has him under some kind of spell, along with one of ours," Natasha tells Thor.

"I wanna know why Loki let us take him. He's not leading an army from here," Steve says looking at the group.

"Wow," Lydia says making everyone turn to her and Steve to sigh.

"Steve actually has a brain! And is using it!" Lydia exclaims astonished as Tony smiles at his daughter as Steve shakes his head.

"I don't think we should be focusing on Loki. That guy's brain is a bag full of cats, you could smell crazy on him," Bruce tells the group.

Loki scoffs at that as Lydia shrugs. Bruce wasn't that wrong.

"Don't worry Loks. The best people are a bit of crazy," Lydia says smirking as everyone just looks at the girl.

"Have care how you speak. Loki is beyond reason, but he is of Asgard, and he's my brother," Thor tells the group.

Loki smiles slightly at that as he looks at his brothers.

"He killed eighty people in two days," Natasha tells Thor.

"He's adopted," Thor tells them.

Loki looks at his brother who smiles sheepishly at him as Lydia laughs at the two.

"I think it's about the mechanics. Iridium, what did they need the Iridium for?" Bruce questions.

"It's a stabilizing agent," Tony says as he walks in with Coulson;

"I'll fly you there. Keep the love alive. Means the portal won't collapse on itself as it did at SHIELD," Tony tells Coulson who nods.

"No hard feelings, Point Break. You've got a mean swing," Tony says to Thor.

"Also, it means the portal can open as wide, and stay open as long, as Loki wants," Tony says referring to the Iridium.

"Uh, raise the mid-mast, ship the topsails. That man is playing GALAGA! Thought we wouldn't notice. But we did," Tony says looking at the crew.

"How does Fury do this?" Tony says as he covers his eyes looking around.

"He turns," Hill tells hums as Tony looks around the monitors and places a button size hacking implant under Fury's desk, without anyone noticing.

"How did no one notice?" Natasha asks as she sighs and Lydia smirks.

"You guys don't notice many things," Lydia says as everyone looks at the girl who had a smirk on her face.

"She scares me," Clint whispers to Nat who rolls her eyes but nods slightly.

"Well, that sounds exhausting. The rest of the raw materials, Agent Barton can get his hands on pretty easily. Only major component he still needs is a power source. A high energy density, something to kick start the cube," Tony tells the group as he looks at them.

"When did you become an expert in thermonuclear astrophysics?" Hill asks confused.

"Last night. The packet, Selvig's notes, and the Extraction Theory papers. Am I the only one who did the reading?" Tony asks looking around at everyone who looks at him.

"You guys didn't already know that?" Lydia asks confused as Nat looks at the girl.

"Lydia I'm pretty sure no one knows most of the information you know," Natasha tells her as Lydia shrugs at that.

"Does Loki need any particular kind of power source?" Steve asks the scientist.

"He's got to heat the cube to a hundred and twenty million Kelvin just to break through the Coulomb barrier," Bruce tells Steve.

"Unless Selvig has figured out how to stabilize the quantum tunneling effect," Tony says finishing.

"Well, if he could do that he could achieve Heavy Ion Fusion at any reactor on the planet," Bruce says as Tony smiles at Bruce.

"Finally, someone who speaks English. Here. The only one who ever understands me is Lydia my daughter," Tony says as he and Banner shake hands. A glimmer in their eyes shines as their mutual respect shows.

"You have a daughter? A daughter?" Steve asks looking towards Tony who smiles at his nods.

"Why so surprised Rogers?" Lydia asks the man who shakes his head at her.

"Just wasn't expecting it," Steve tells her as Lydia shrugs at what most people were when they found out Tony Stark had a daughter.

"Yep and she is amazing and a certified genius," Tony tells Steve before looking toward Bruce again.

"It's good to meet you, Dr. Banner. Your work on anti-electron collisions is unparalleled. And I'm a huge fan of the way you lose control and turn into an enormous green rage monster," Tony tells Bruce who looks down at that.

"Dad!" Lydia yells as her dad standing him a disappointed look as Tony winces.

"Sorry Bruce," Tony tells him as Bruce nods at him.

"Thanks," Bruce tells Tony as Nick walks in.

"Dr. Banner is only here to track the cube. I was hoping you might join him," Fury says looking at Tony.

"Let's start with that stick of his. It may be magical, but it works an awful lot like a HYDRA weapon," Steve says as Fury looks at him.

"That sounded really dirty," Lydia mutters as she shakes her head making Nat laugh at the girl as Steve blushes.

"I don't know about that, but it is powered by the cube. And I'd like to know how Loki used it to turn two of the sharpest men I know into his personal flying monkeys," Fury says making Thor look at him confused.

"Monkeys? I do not understand," Thor tells him tilting his head like a puppy.

"I do! I understood that reference," Steve says looking proud of himself as Tony rolls his eyes.

"Ugh, monkey. They creep me out. Especially Wizard of Oz," Lydia says shriveling as she shakes her head.

"Is the Lydia Stark scared?" Clint asks in disbelief as Lydia throws popcorn at him.

"Shall we play, doctor?" Tony asks looking towards Bruce.

"Let's play some," Bruce says as he goes to leave but Fury stops him.

"Wait there's someone you will want to see," Fury says looking at Tony who looks at him confused. Fury nods at Hill who leaves going to get something or someone.

Lydia smirks as Tony glares at the screen.

"Daddy!" Lydia yells running into the room with a bright smile as Tony looks wide-eyed and picks her up.

"What are you doing here? How did she get her?" Tony asks looking at Fury who looks at Lydia.

"Well Daddy," Lydia says laughing as she gives him an innocent look.

"Someone hacked the pentagon and found out my number calling me telling me it was an emergency. When I arrived she was watching the little mermaid," Fury tells Tony as Lydia gives him an innocent smile.

Everyone turns to look at Lydia who waves at them sheepish as Pepper hits Tony's shoulder.

"This is because of you," Pepper tells Tony who nods his head although hesitantly.

"I love you," Lydia tells her dad kissing his cheek. Tony smiles at her as Lydia gets down and walks towards Fury.

"So driving lessons?" Lydia asks excitedly as she pulls Fury out of the room as Hill tries not to laugh.

"Well she will be fine," Tony says as he shrugs and leaves the briefing room as Bruce just looks confused.

"What just happened?" Bruce asks more him than anyone else.

"Lydia Stark happened," Natasha tells him as she walks past him and Bruce nods flowing Tony.

━━━━━ ✧༺✶༻✧ ━━━━━

"Lydia! We are in the air! How are you almost crashing? There's nothing to crash into but clouds," Fury tells Lydia who shrugs as she drives the Helicarrier.

"That's why it so wobbled for a little while!" Natasha yells as she looks at the screen wide-eyed

"Don't know. It's a Stark thing. Doing the impossible," Lydia tells him as she flips it back to autopilot and gets up.

"I'm bored. I need some cheeseburger," Lydia says as she walks out of the room as Fury shakes his head.

"Someone watches her," Fury tells the agents who nod at the man as they walk away.

"They didn't work. They lost me two minutes later," Lydia says laughing as many look at her in disbelief but Tony chuckles.

Lydia walks around till she sees guards guarding a door making her shrug as she sneaks into the room.

"Lydia!" Pepper exclaims as Lydia smiles at her sheepishly.

Walking in Lydia sees a man in a cage as she takes a bite of her cheeseburger.

"Hello, little one," Loki says seeing the girl who looks at him confused before shrugging.

"Hi! Do you want a cheeseburger?" Lydia asks him as she smiles at the man taking a bite of her own cheeseburger.

"Lydia!" Everyone yells as Lydia smiles sheepishly and Loki smirks.
