Akame, only shocked by her sister's betrayal, got hit by Ibara. Luckily she was able to block it in time and took a few steps back, wielding her Murasame. Ibara kept pummeling her arms that served as her shield while laughing, the blows even made a part of her clothes tear. The red eyed assassin later strikes her Teigu from above to land a hit on him.

But due to his reflexes, he was able to keep ahold of it between his arms. Akame wasn't fazed by this move at all as she watch her Teigu get snatched away by it.

"Teigu confiscated! My, my, you really are one bad girl aren't you, little Akame?" Ibara giggled.

"Stealing the Teigu from her, not bad." Kurome retorted.

"Murasame sure is one sinister weapon ain't it? The perfect match for little Akame." He said.

Akame gives away a glare at his direction and watches Ibara proudly holds on her Teigu. As a matter of seconds passed, Murasame began to give off an ominous aura. He then let go of it and the Teigu dropped to the grass.

The red eyed assassin took this as an opportunity to retaliate Ibara. She dashes as quickly towards him and immediately went on his shoulders. Her legs wrapped around his neck and twisted it around. Akame quickly got off of him and grabbed her Teigu that was now laying on the ground.

"Don't tell me that was your plan?!" Ibara yelled in shock.

"The moment you called Murasame sinister, it already knew that you aren't suited to weild it." Akame pointed the blade at him.

"How dare you... How dare you pull a trick on me?!" Ibara was blinded with rage and quickly dashes to her.

Akame swiftly and smoothly, slashes her Teigu at him, cutting his limbs. Bit by bit, his body parts fell down to the ground and Akame sheathed her blade.

"Besides.. you wouldn't get along with it anyway." She said.

Kurome clapped for her sister's astounding stunt, Akame gazes at her with a frown as she continues to clap. The black eyed girl slowly walks closer to her with a small smile, her sister only stood there waiting.

"As expected from my dear sister. I mean, you are the infamous Akame of Night Raid after all." Kurome stated.

"Kurome, what are you implying there?" Akame asked.

"Nothing at all? Now that guy's out of the way, we should be heading to where the others are.. Right?" Kurome looks directly at her eye.

Her sister remained silent as the two continue to have a stare down. Slowly and slowly, Kurome's expression began to change. Akame noticed this and was about to ask her but she quickly turns around and walks away. Her hair made it hard for her eyes to be seen which it covered most of her expression. At first, Akame thought she would betray her along with Night Raid, maybe there's a change of heart?

She followed Kurome all the way back to their hideout in the borders of Kyoroch. They had a quick meeting about the assassination of Borick. After that, they all went to their respective tents. Y/N sat down by the cliff, his legs dangling on the ledge, the journal in hand. Akame was standing a few meters from him, her eyes directed at his face which was focused on the sky.

"You can sit with me and enjoy the view from here instead of standing there." Y/N chuckled.

She comes closer to him and sat down by his side, the two of them both watch the beautiful horizon. Y/N opens his journal and flips over to the blank page, pen in hand, he starts to write something. Akame inches closer to him to see what he is writing, but Y/N only pushed her head a little away with his middle and index finger.

"I want to read what you're writing." Akame told him with her usual blank face.

"I'll let you read it once I feel like I want to." Y/N smiled.

"Okay." Akame went back to staring at the sky.

It was a moment of silence once again, he was so focused on writing in his journal that he almost didn't notice Akame leaning her head by his shoulder. He smiled at this and soon, he finally finishes writing. Closing the book, he looks at Akame's calm face.

"So how are you and Kurome?" He asked.

"It's quite complicated." She answered.

"I see. So still not in good terms?" He said.

"Perhaps, we didn't talk much about our history. Though I know myself she still had her anger against me." Akame sighed.

"It'll be fine, you're sisters. You love and hate one another, there's no need for you two to decide on taking the other's life." He placed his journal by his side.

"How did you..." Akame quickly leaned back from his shoulder and looks at him in utter surprise.

"Kurome told me, I'll tell you the truth. I'm convincing your sister into leaving the Jaegers and joining Night Raid. Since I don't want you both to clash and end up one of you dying of getting hurt, I thought that was the best method." He explained.

"Sometimes, I hate the fact that you do so many things for everyone without us acknowledging it." Akame smiles at him.

"That's why I'm called Master of Silence, remember?" He chuckles.

"We should probably get some sleep. The assassination will be commencing tomorrow after all." She stands up from her place and lends her hand towards Y/N.

He accepted it and got up from his place with his journal within his arm. The duo walked back inside their tents and hit the hay. The next night, Akame and Kurome went back and looked around the graveyard then found the passage that leads all the way to Borick's mansion. They've spotted some few gaurds around the area and they easily defeated them and went on their way. As they do so, Akame can't stop thinking about Kurome, she wonders what are her true intentions.

As Night Raid is on the move, the same goes for the Jaegers. Although having less members, they can still manage to hold their enemies back with the help of Vlad's Teigu that was controlling both Chelsea and Sheele. Lubbock and Bulat are currently occupied with dealing with Wave and Run. Just by observing Bulat's moves, Wave already knew he was no match for him. Najenda and Susanoo are heading their way to Esdeath, ready to fight and stop her from preventing them to accomplish the assassination.

Borick was behind all of them, a look of terror shown on his face. Esdeath has told him to get out of the place and hide somewhere safe. Sadly, it was already too late for him as Bulat made a way for Lubbock, he wrapped his strings around his hands and killed him in a matter of seconds.

An hour or so before all of that, both Mine and Y/N are outside of an old temple, sitting down on a pillar. The duo had scouted around the area of Kyoroch during the day and were unaware that one of the Rakshasa Demons and Jaegers spotted and followed them. Both him and Mine are removing the accessories that they had put on them for disguising.

Suzuka, along with Seryu and her Teugu Koro decided to strike and kill them. The two of them had separated Mine and Y/N in order to not have any inconveniences while killing them off. The masked man was lured in the temple by Suzuka, his face showed no emotion as he looks at her although he is wearing a mask.

"Ooh? Do I perhaps seen you from somewhere?" Suzuka asked.

"Maybe." He answered nonchalantly.

"Ah, I remember now. You're one of the most wanted criminals in the Imperial Capital. The one who's entitled Master of Silence, right?" Suzuka gave off a smirk.

"Now you know, I have to kill you." Y/N grabs his pistol from its holster and shot at her.

The bullet was easily dodged by her and he shoots again while walking closer and closer. Suzuka did the same and blocked a punch coming from him, showing him her smirk once more, she was surprised that she got kicked on the abdomen and was sent towards a pillar. Before she knew it, Y/N running his away out of the temple as he destroys each pillar he passes.

The whole structure began to crumble and fall, Suzuka was still in there but wasn't able to escape soon enough. The debris crash on her and was left inside a pile of it. Nobody knows if she's still alive or finally dead. Back to where Mine is, it seems she's on the edge of the fight due to being outnumbered. Nonetheless she was still standing, Seryu was mad that even if it's only one enemy, she can't even lay a major injury on her. Firing many missiles at Mine, she tries to her best to dodge and stop it from ever hitting her.

Though Seryu has had enough and she ordered Koro to berserk. He multiplied in size and was now bulky, Mine was quite terrified at the sight, recalling as that is the same creature that almost killed the both of them, especially Sheele. If it weren't for Y/N heading there to save them, they would've been dead. Koro runs and lays down a punch on her but she managed to dodge it by jumping away, she falls down to the and tries to crawl away.

A missile was shot at the ground just beside Mine which caused her to be sent back and have her leg injured. She was able to walk properly due to that so all she did was try and crawl away from them.

"Running away is not an option here, filthy criminal." Seryu smirked widely.

Mine kept crawling away from them, she didn't care if this is the time where she will die. She didn't want it to happen that's why she was crawling away.

"Tch. Koro, finish her." Seryu ordered.

Koro let out a growl and walked towards Mine, his large fist reading to smash her to pieces. Just as his fist hit the ground once more before it could land on her, Y/N appeared and swept her off her feet and stops a certain distance from Seryu and Koro. Seryu's eyes widen in shock when he saw him.

"I'm glad I made it in time, right?" Y/N looks at Mine with his mask still on.

She only stared at him with utter surprise, Mine didn't thought he would be here at the right time to save her. Y/N didn't bother letting go of Mine, his grip on her went a little tighter.

"Hey Seryu. You wanna kill us? Then try to." He said to her.

"Why you- how dare you!" Seryu was fueled with anger and began to fire multiple missiles at them once again.

Y/N runs around the wide area in order to dodge it, Koro dashes towards them and began to pummel at him. He was able to evade some of them but one punch it him on his mask which made his head move back a little. Mine was gripping rather tightly at his clothes, her eyes forcefully shut.

"So Seryu, care to explain to me why are you side with the Empire?" He asked.

"I do it all for justice! You criminals know nothing but do horrible actions. All of you must be justified!" She yelled.

"Hearing that from you sounds so wrong, isn't it? I mean, it's obvious how the Empire is yet you sided with them and now.. you're bringing justice to us criminals? Don't make me laugh." He said.

"What did you just said?" Seryu looks at her with a dark expression.

"I'm not gonna repeat myself for the likes of you. So, why don't you come here and try to kill me? I am the Master of Silence after all, I have a huge bounty on my head." He said as he walks to Mine's Teigu and graps it.

"I'll kill you.. how dare you bad mouth me like that. I'm gonna kill you... Koro! Give it your all!" Seryu yelled.

"Mine, I'm going to let you shoot them while I'm distracting them. At least make sure to target the dog, got it?" Y/N whispered to Mine.

This made her open her eyes and look at him, responding in nodding, Y/N began to run around again to look for a perfect spot for her to shoot. He then gently placed down Mine on the ground to the corner of the area and dashes at Koro. He dodged his punch and only to distract him, Seryu was surprised when he went to her and restrained her. His pistol was pointed at her head. Koro stopped and looked at the both of them, if he were to make a move, Seryu would be killed. This was now the chance for Mine to fire, she has gathered up a lot of energy within her Teigu and fired it all at once directly at Koro.

It destroyed most of his body and was now unable to regenerate. Seryu was shocked at this and couldn't be angered more. Knowing that this would be her time, she activated the time bomb that is stored within her.

"Let's see if you can still escape my justice with this." Seryu smirked.

"You're an idiot..." Y/N mumbled as he lets go of her to go to Mine.

"Running away is now futile, all of us are going to die here... so who's laughing now?!" Seryu grinned maniacally.

"Mine, don't let go." He said to her, not bothering replying at Seryu's words.

"You criminals are fools to underestimate justice. Now this is to pay the price." Seryu stated.

Y/N had already activated his trump card, only four times left of using it and the mask will almost be useless. He ran away as fast as he can out of the area with Mine and her Teigu in his arms. Soon, a large explosion appeared behind them. He only kneeled down and covered Mine with his cloak and arms. Minutes after the explosion, everything was now peaceful, he deactivated the trump card and took of his mask.

Mine looked at him in the eyes as he smiles, immediately looking away with a tint of pink on her face.

"I guess starting from now on, you'll always need me to save your butt huh?" He chuckled.

"No I won't, I only need it this once." Mine responded.

"Haha, all right. Let's head back to the others and help them out. You think you can still walk?" He asked.

"I can manage, now carry me back to Kyoroch." She demanded.

"All right princess." He smiled.
