"This mask is one of the very important things that our ancestors had passed down from generations after generations until now. Whatever you do, do not let anyone else take it from you. You understand that?"

"I do! I promise that I'll keep this and use it wisely." I answered proudly.

"Good, you'll be a great warrior when you grow up. It's in your blood after all."

"Hey dad, I wanna know. What does this thing do? Does it do anything special at all?"

"None of us know even in the past generations what's it main purpose is. But it has some nice tricks like concealing your aura and emotions, though if you didn't conceal them it will transform you into something more useful. It will only happen ten times, so you must use it in the right situations when you really need it."

"How come our ancestors don't know the purpose of the mask? Didn't the creator explained it to their family?"

"I'm not sure either, all right that's enough questions for now. You sure do ask a lot, why don't you go to your mom and spend time with her instead?"

"Okay! I'll put this thing away first." I run out of the room and went to mine to place the mask on the bed before I go to my mother.

"That was one nostalgic dream." I whispered under my breath.

"After assassinating the target, the Jaegers were there and I was about to get caught. Good thing I barely escaped that place alive." Chelsea started telling the story about her recent mission.

"I must say I'm impressed escaping a live and returning back in spite of getting cornered buy the enemies. How were you even able to escape?" Mine asked.

"The target had a few pet cats so I transformed into one and blend in." Chelsea answered.

"That is one useful Teigu, I must say." Leon chimed in.

"Speaking of which, I notice how the Jaegers have been targeting us more lately now." Akame said.

"Seeing as the unknown Danger Beasts have been exterminated, it seems they have more time in their hands to hunt us down." Bulat mentioned.

"Now thinking of it, we need to be more careful and efficient during our missions." Najenda said.

After our little meeting, both me and Leone are outside the hideout about to train. The two of us walked down the deserted valley about to confront a large amount of Danger Beasts.

"Ready for our little training?" She asked me.

"As always." I answered.

She then activates her Teigu and later she transformed, seeing her like that makes me smile. I unsheathed my sword and was the first one to charge at the Danger Beasts. All of them noticed me approaching them due to my loud and fast footsteps, they reacted by letting out a cry and running towards me. Just as one was about to pounce right at me, Leone appeared and kicked it away.

"Not on my watch!" She yelled before punching it hard in the face.

"Good job." I simply said and then shoot one of them in the head.

"Heh, these things are nothing compare to my other hardcore training." She said while continuing on beating us the Danger Beast.

"Well, you're not the only one who has gone through harsh training." I said as I slice one of them in half.

"How bout a competition, who gets to kill the most Danger Beasts will get to be treated whatever they want by the loser." She said.

"Deal." I smiled at her.

The two of us then continously killed the Danger Beasts side by side while counting how many kills did we have. Though the amount of them appearing before us won't stop, I'm starting to wonder why. Then I finally figured that they might be having a leader that controls them. I then signalled for Leone to follow me and she did. We run away from the creatures and they started to chase after us.

"So what'cha got in mind?" She asked.

"I'm thinking that those Danger Beasts might have a leader, seeing as they keep coming. So if one of us finds and kills it, we will get a plus five points on the kill count!" I said to her.

"You got it. Thanks to my high sense of smell I bet that I'm already the winner." She said.

"You think so? Too bad..." I paused.

I look to the side and in the distance, I saw a Danger Beast looking similar to the ones chasing us but larger. Seeing this, I now know who will win.

"This prey is mine!" I began dashing towards the creature.

"Oh no you don't!" Leone began chasing after me.

The two of us run as fast as we can towards it. The Danger Beast then spat some sort of acid towards us but luckily we dodged it. I immediately got on it's back and Leone in front of it, she then kneels down and I prepared my pistol. Once she jumps up and makes contact with its jaw using her fist, I then aimed my pistol at it's neck and fired.

I jumped off of it, and it began to let out a cry of agony. I shoot it again multiple times on some parts of its body, and it fell on the ground. Leone walks towards it, then stomped on its face.

"Looks like we both kill it huh?" I said with a smile.

"Yep! So.... I guess we both earned five points?" She asked.

"Indeed, now let's continue finishing the small ones." I said and placed my pistol back in its holster.

After me and Leone finished slaying the Danger Beast, the two of us realized that we had lost count on our kill count and just laughed it off before heading back to our hideout. When we enter inside, we see Mine, Lubbock and Chelsea just casually hanging out sitting on the chairs.

"Hey you three." I waved.

"Yo, done dealing those Danger Beasts, I assume?" Lubbock asked.

"Uh, yes." Leone said.

"Good, now please leave and get showered, you two are stinky!" Mine yelled.

"Wait, we do? Oh well, I'm gonna take a bath now." I said walking away.

"Oh! How about we take a shower together?" Leone asked while she began to follow me.

"No!"

"It'll be fun! Come on!" She then started to convince me into taking a bath with her.

The day ended well and it was finally night time. Akame and Susanoo cooked dinner and we had all gathered and it. An hour passed, we then got into our sleeping attires and now ready to sleep. But not me yet, I'm currently outside our hideout, sitting on top of Quill who was laying down on the ground near a cliff. I was watching the night sky as I hold my mask, later, footsteps can be heard coming from behind me. I turn around and saw Chelsea.

"Hey." I let out a small smile.

"Do you usually go outside and stare at the sky before you sleep?" She asked.

"Yeah, it helps me feel relaxed." I said.

"Mind if I join you then?" She steps closer.

"Not at all."

She then got in front of me a climb on Quill, which he didn't mind. Chelsea was now sitting down beside me and the two of us just stare at the sky.

The night sky that is full of stars always makes me feel admired of it. It looks so peaceful. Sometimes I'm thinking that I want touch a star.

"This might be boring for others, but for me it's quite entertaining." Chelsea said.

"I know right? I admire the stars, for shining so bright in the dark sky." I stated.

"I wanted to ask you something, about that mask. What was it's origin?" She questioned.

"I'll tell you about that in another time, or you can just asked the others since they know." I said.

"Why won't you tell me?" She asked.

"Cause I don't want to. I don't have the energy to think about other things when I'm here relaxing myself." I said.

"All right, then I'll leave you here with your friend here to relax. I'm going to sleep now, good night."

Chelsea then gave me a quick kiss on the cheek and got down from Quill before walking away and back to the hideout.

The move that she did on me made me a bit confused. I touched the cheek where she kissed me and slightly blushed, later I let out a smile.

"Good night."
