Ash was staring at the open space remembering the battles as Iris and Cilan have left in the train, both eager to explore more the regions to accomplish their dreams.

"My dream is to catch meet more dragon Pokémon, and become a Dragon Master..It was fun traveling with you Ash and Pakura." Iris said with a sad smile

"Me too." Ash said with a smile as Pakura nodded said as the train sound was heard

"I will never forget our journey with our Pokémon...Kanto Champion Ash." Cilan said with tears

"Take care you guys." Pakura said as the door closed as Ash and Pakura waved as they waved back

"ASHY?!!" Pakura asked worried as Ash chuckled and turned around, hugging her to comfort her and show it's fine.

"It's fine, just thinking about the past of the first League I took, it's been a long way to get here. Now, I gotta look for my Elite Four" He said, smiling as Pakura nodded her head in agreement.

"BTW, how is this going to be? Each Elite needs a different Type specialty, so which ones are you going to pick?" Pakura asked

"Mr. Goodshow told me that the only available types are Electric, Normal, Flying, Grass and Rock. And three of them need to be born in Kanto. I wished you were one of them, but since you're a multi specialist it won't do. And I also need a trained Champion, which will have to take my place, and my specialty according with Mr. Goodshow is the Legendary Type, and the only one I know that has Legendaries besides me is Tobias" Ash answered just as Tobias was passing by and smirked as he heard his name.

"So that means that he would be your trained Champion?" She asked once more

"Indeed, I can feel he's just like me, very strong bonds with each of his Pokémon and they trust him, I'm not surprised he would get any stronger and be a champion with ease. Well, let's go home, after that we'll go to Kalos and start our search" He replied as got up, grabbing Pakura's hand to help her up as well, and just as they were about to leave, the Legendary Trainer stood in front of them with a smile on his face.

"Hey there, Kanto Champion Ash, I'm very impressed of how far you've gone" Tobias said as Ash went to shake hands with the pale blonde haired boy with a smile of his own.

"Tobias, I never expected you to be here in Kanto, what are you doing here?" Ash asked, curiosity taking him slowly as Tobias just shrugged.

"Traveling, see if I can have some challenges and train my Pokémon. Oh, I also heard your little conversation by accident, so you're considering me to be your trained Champion?" He asked, surprising Ash with his question, but the raven haired boy already had made his decision about it.

"Yeah, that if you accept" He replied, making Tobias think for a second before he nodded.

"Sure. But now, are you ready for Round 2 Ash? A 3 vs 3 battle, to see how strong you are now" Tobias replied as Ash smirked. There was a Pokémon Center nearby and it had a battlefield too, as a little crowd was starting to form, everybody awestruck to see the Legendary Trainer battle against the Master Of Legendaries.

'So, he has more Legendary Pokémon. This will be one hard battle indeed, but I will win this!' thought Tobias as he threw his Pokéball in the air. "Darkrai I require your assistance!" He shouted as the Nightmare Pokémon stood in front of everyone, growling at Ash, showing that he was up to a fight. Ash just smirked as Pakura smiled at her boyfriend's determination.

"Ho-Oh I choose you!" Ash yelled as he grabbed Ho-Oh's Pokéball and it revealed the Rainbow Pokémon right in front of everyone, as the crowd started to take pictures and now reporters were around, filming the whole incident as it was showed in the news. Tobias now was boiling with determination and the desire to win.

"Let's start this! Darkrai use Dark Pulse!!"

The Dark Type launched a beam of black colored rings, outlined with a purple glow towards Ho-Oh, who was waiting Ash's first command,

"Counter with Thunderbolt!"

The Rainbow Pokémon launched a bolt of lightning towards the oncoming attack and soon they collided mid-field, creating a powerful explosion.

"Use Calm Mind to find him and use Flamethrower!"

The Fire/Flying Type closed her eyes and emptied her mind as she was surrounded by a pink glow, boosting her special attack and defense while also finding Darkrai through the smoke. She then launched a stream of rose and golden colored flames.

Tobias saw the oncoming stream of flames and quickly countered. "Use Protect!"

Darkrai formed a greenish-blue colored dome around himself that protected him against the stream of flames.

"Now, use Dark Void!" said Tobias while smirking as he was trying to pull off a winning combo.

Darkrai, who was hiding in Ho-Oh's shadow on top of the water came out of it and released a small pitch black ball towards the Fire/Flying Type.

Ash saw this and reacted right away. "Use Safeguard!"

The Rainbow Pokémon immediately formed a light blue shield around herself and in the millisecond the shield was formed, the Dark Void hit the shield. The attack struggled against the barrier for a bit before it dispersed.

Tobias gritted his teeth seeing his combo was now ruined and since Safeguard was now up, he couldn't use any status effecting moves for quite some time. 'Well if I can't put Ho-Oh to sleep, then I'll have to beat it with raw power'

"Use Sludge Bomb!" shouted Tobias.

Darkrai formed a large purple colored ball of sludge in between his arms before launching it towards the Fire/Flying Type who was ready to counterattack.

"Use Psychic to send it right back!"

Ho-oh's eyes glowed blue and soon the oncoming Poison Type attack was outlined by a blue aura and stopped dead in mid-air. Ho-Oh then moved her head a little and the Sludge Bomb was now heading back to the Dark Type with twice the speed and force.

Tobias and Darkrai were both caught off guard by this since they didn't know exactly what attacks the legendary Rainbow Pokémon can use. Darkrai raised his arms and formed an X in front of him in an effort to block the attack.

The Psychic Powered Sludge Bomb then collided with the Dark Type, dealing a lot of damage and sent him in the pool of water. Tobias was now worried about his Pokémon but soon a smirk grazed his face as now Darkrai was hidden within the water.

"Use Nasty Plot!"

From within the water, the Pitch Black Pokémon heard his trainer's command and filled his head with dark, evil thoughts before he was surrounded by a black aura, powering up his special attack power.

Ash not one to stay idly by while his opponent raised his power, reacted. "Use Thunderbolt on the water!"

Tobias's smirk immediately dropped while Ho-Oh grinned before she launched a bolt of lightning from her mouth towards the water.

"Get out of there Darkrai!" shouted Tobias.

However, the attack came too fast and hit the water before the Dark Type could come out of the water hence causing the electric attack to spread all throughout the water battlefield and eventually hit him.

Due to the attack dispersing throughout the water, it weakened, causing less damage to Darkrai. However, it caused paralysis in place of causing damage as the Thunderbolt had weakened to a Thunder Wave.

The Pitch Black Pokémon then came out of the water with his eyes wincing due to the visible electricity that was coursing through his body and sparking outwards occasionally. Pakura then realized that the legendary Dark Type was now paralyzed and this caused Tobias to grit his teeth harder then before as he was now at a severe disadvantage.

"Use Shadow Ball Darkrai!"

"Counter with your own Shadow Ball!"

Both Pokémon formed a black sphere with a purple core and then launched the attacks at each other. They soon collided mid-air causing an explosion and smoke dispersed everywhere.

"Use Focus Blast!" shouted Tobias.

The Pitch Black Pokémon formed a turquoise sphere of fighting energy and concentrated to find his opponent. Once he did, he fired his attack.

"Use Brave Bird!" shouted Ash.

Ho-Oh was then surrounded by crimson flames as she descended downwards into the smoke. The surrounding flames then changed into blue energy as she continued onwards but then she sensed an oncoming attack which was too close and coming too fast to dodge so she decided to take it head on.

Eventually, Ho-Oh collided with the Focus Blast causing the nearby smoke to blow away. The Rainbow Pokémon struggled for a few seconds against the attack but soon managed to blow through it and continued onwards towards the Pitch Black Pokémon, eventually colliding with him.

Darkrai was sent flying into the water, soon crashing into the floor while Ho-Oh flew back into the air with blue electricity sparking from her body as she winced, suffering from recoil damage.

Tobias gritted his teeth seeing how despite training for 1 years, he was being defeated once again but this time he was fighting against another Legendary Pokémon. He always thought he was unbeatable with his Legendary Pokémon but that thought was crushed when he faced Ash Ketchum, and now he was once again being beaten by the same trainer but this time with more Legendary Pokémon against him, though, Tobias was glad to see that he had found a very worthy rival and now, he wants this kind of bond of rivals to grow more.

"Darkrai come out and use Feint Attack!" said Tobias while grinning thinking he could use this opening to get in a powerful attack.

Darkrai, burst out of the water as he was surrounded by a black aura but soon he disappeared from where he was floating making everyone but Ash go wide eyed.

Ash gave a malicious grin as he knew almost all moves inside out and knew their counters. "Spin and use Steel Wing behind you!"

Ho-Oh followed her trainer's orders with no hesitation as her rainbow colored wings glowed a silver color giving them a metallic appearance. She then spun her body around at a very fast pace and stretched out her wings. Her metallic wings collided with Darkrai who had just reappeared behind his target but was taken completely off guard when he was hit on his side but before the pain even registered, Ho-Oh's second wing collided with Darkrai's torso sending him plummeting towards the water battlefield.

"Finish it with Sacred Fire!" said Ash in a calm and collected tone.

The Rainbow Legendary Pokémon released a large stream of rose colored flames straight towards the plummeting Darkrai. Before Darkrai or Tobias could react, the attack hit his mark causing a large explosion to occur and steam rose up.

Eventually, after much waiting in anticipation, the smoke and mist cleared revealing the water completely evaporated and Darkrai unconscious.

"DARKRAI IS UNABLE TO BATTLE! HO-OH WINS! TOBIAS PLEASE SEND OUT YOUR NEXT POKÉMON!" Pakura yelled as the crowd cheered for Ash.

Tobias came out of his shock and returned his Legendary Pokémon while muttering thanks before he glanced over to Ash as Ho-Oh was nuzzling against her trainer's cheek before she was returned into her Pokéball.

"I must say I'm impressed that you train very well your Legendary Pokémon. This is something... However, I will not lose to you again! Hn!" shouted Tobias as he released his Pokéball high into the air, revealing the one from the Eon duo, Latios.

"Latios huh? Well, if I could I would've used Latias again, but one of my Legendary Pokémon loves to battle and I promised he would get as much as he wants. Lugia, lend me your power!" Ash shouted as he tossed the Pokéball, and then when it opened, the Diving Pokémon appeared sparkling in all his majestic glory.

"BATTLE BEGIN!" Pakura shouted

"Let's start things off with Ice Beam!" shouted Ash.

The Psychic/Flying Type launched a zig-zag turquoise beam of ice energy towards the floating Eon Pokémon.

"Dodge it!"

Latios spun his body sideways and rolled out of the way of the attack in the air.

"Now use Dragon Breath!"

The Dragon/Psychic type launched a stream of violet colored flames towards Lugia.

"Use Psychic to send it right back!"

The Diving Pokémon's eyes glowed blue before the stream of flames was surrounded by a blue glow as well. Soon the attack made a turn around and headed back to Latios eventually colliding with his body doing some damage.

Tobias gritted his teeth seeing how quickly his attack was countered by a strategy Ash used before. "Use Shadow Ball!"

"Counter with Ancient Power!"

Latios sent a black sphere with a purple core towards Lugia while he formed a spectral image of himself before changing it into a ball of silver energy and launching it as well. The two attacks soon collided mid-air causing a small explosion to occur and smoke to blow everywhere.

"Use Aerial Ace to get in close and use Shadow Claw!" said Tobias the moment the attacks collided.

Latios immediately sped towards the explosion as he was surrounded by white streaks of wind and energy as ghost energy took the form of spectral claws around his arms. Latios then disappeared from view behind the explosion, reappearing on top of Lugia ramming his body against the Psychic/Flying Type and then swiping his claws at him.

This caused Lugia to screech in pain as he was caught off-guard by the attack. 'Damn, Latios' jet like properties make him very fast and he can react to commands right away, but mine is faster, but I can't be affording to careless again.' Thought Ash seeing how quickly Tobias and Latios reacted to using the explosion to their advantage. He then saw Latios coming against Lugia with the same combo.

"Use Calm Mind Lugia to sense where he will strike from and use Dragon Tail to create some distance!"

Lugia did as such and calmed his mind in an instant sensing everything in the surrounding area. His tail glowed purple as it was filled with draconic energy. Sensing Latios coming in front of him even though he was flying towards him from behind, he swung his body around to strike the area in front of him with his tail. Thanks to the properties of the move Aerial Ace, Lugia's prediction was spot on as his Dragon Tail collided with the Eon Pokémon sending him flying backwards.

"Now that we have some breathing room, use Ice Beam!"

Lugia launched a zig-zag turquoise beam of ice energy which hit a still dazed Latios sending him plummeting downwards due to the harsh amount of damage taken.

"Get a hold of yourself Latios and use Thunderbolt!"

The falling Dragon/Psychic Pokémon managed to straighten himself just a few feet above the steel ground of the now empty pool, before he shot back into the air with electricity crackling around his body. He then launched a bolt of lightning towards the Diving Pokémon who formed an X shape in front of him with his wings in an attempt to lessen the damage, however it was futile.

Lugia screeched taking damage from the super-effective attack but thanks to his extremely high special defense, he was still more then capable of fighting for a long time.

"We won't take that lying down! Lugia fill the battlefield with a full powered Blizzard!"

The legendary Pokémon of the sea complied and launched a large gust of freezing wings, snow and hail that went across the battlefield and made its way towards Latios!

"Latios fly high into the air to get away from the attack and use Dragon Dance and follow up with Dragon Claw!"

Immediately Latios tucked his arms inward before he launched upwards in a sonic boom getting away from the oncoming powerful ice type attack. He soon found himself high into the air far above Lugia. Latios was then surrounded by swirling red and black energy before he himself spun around at a fast space as he powered up his speed and attack to dangerous levels. Draconic energy then took the shape of large claws around his arms.

Meanwhile, Ash wasn't sitting idly by as he knew, Latios will be attacking head on. "Continuously use Calm Mind to boost your power and sense where Latios is going to be coming from!"

Lugia followed his trainers command and closed his eyes, calming and emptying his mind. His body was then surrounded by a pink glow as his special attack and defense power was boosted. A bone rattling silence filled the field as they waited to see what will happen. Lugia then sensed Latios heading towards him right on top of him under the cover of the moon's light. This caused his eyes to snap open to which Ash immediately reacted.

"Aeroblast!" simply said Ash.

Soon everyone saw Latios heading towards Lugia at full speed and the distance between them was closing fast. Latios then used his full speed as a sonic boom was heard throughout the city. In an instant Latios was almost at his target but Lugia turned his body around and launched a large tornado of raging winds from his mouths towards the now shocked Latios. Due to Latios' immense speeds, he couldn't dodge so he ended up taking the attack straight to his face and was sent flying back.

He kept rocketing backwards but eventually managed to catch himself but his body was covered in numerous scratches as he took significant damage from Lugia's signature attack.

"So far close combat just seems to be backfiring and even though we can't win with long range...we still have to try. Latios barrage Lugia with Dragon Pulse!"

Latios then started to form and fire numerous turquoise balls of draconic energy towards his opponent.

"Counter with Psyshock!"

Lugia formed numerous small pink balls of psychic energy that formed all around in front of Lugia's body. The pink energy spheres then individually launched beams of psychic energy towards the oncoming barrage of Dragon Pulses. The numerous barrage of attacks kept colliding with one another forming smoke all over the field.

Taking advantage of the smoke, Tobias decided to call upon the strongest attack in his arsenal! "Latios use Draco Meteor!"

Ash saw a huge orange sphere of draconic energy shoot out of the cloud of smoke and immediately knew of the oncoming threat.

"Protect Lugia!"

Responding immediately, Lugia formed a greenish-blue colored barrier around him. The now oncoming small meteors of draconic energy collided with unrelenting force against Lugia's shield causing him to grit his teeth as he struggled a bit to maintain the shield. After, what seemed ages but had only been 10 second, the barrage ended as Lugia lowered his shield but at that moment Latios attacked.

"Use Luster Purge!"

Latios launched a sparkling pink beam to Lugia and his attack collided with his target causing the nearby smoke to blow away. Lugia winced a little thankfully the attack didn't do much damage thanks to his typing.

"Let's end this now Lugia! Use Sky Attack and Dragon Rush!"

"I couldn't agree more! Giga Impact and Shadow Claw!"

Lugia was surrounded by a red glow before it turned into white flames. Draconic energy then formed around Lugia and fused with the white flames, making the combined energy take the form of a white dragon around the Legendary Pokémon. The Diving Pokémon went full force towards Latios who was busy following his own command.

Latios, formed a pink sphere of energy around himself which had spiraling streaks of orange energy. His tow arms then were surrounded by ghost type energy that took the form of spectral claws, causing the surrounding dome to turn from pink to dark purple as it was fused with the ghost type energy. Latios then launched himself full speed towards the oncoming Lugia.

Both Pokémon were coming at each other in full force and even the steel ground of the pool was cracking under the immense pressure released by the Legendary Pokémon. They soon collided mid-air with a loud boom which could be heard throughout Viridian City. The two fierce Pokémon struggled to over power one another but an explosion then occurred due to the immense pressure between the two attacks. Smoke covered the area around the two Pokémon in the air.

Soon a figure was seen falling from the sky in the air through the smoke, and soon it crashed into the cracked surface of the pool. Once the vision became clear for everyone and the smoke from the air cleared, Latios was seen beaten and unconscious on the ground with swirls for eyes. Meanwhile, Lugia had some bruises but let out a fierce roar of dominance and power that echoed throughout the Battlefield.

"LATIOS IS UNABLE TO BATTLE! LUGIA WINS! THE WINNER IS ASH!" Pakura said smiling as everyone now cheered crazily for their Champion and the Legendary Trainer." Pakura said as the crowd cheered crazily for Ash and Tobias, hence the pale blonde trainer was losing.

Tobias grit his teeth seeing how another one of his Legendary Pokémon was beaten, but he got confused at the thing that the crowd is cheering for him, hence he's losing, but then he remembered that Ash said once that in Kanto, doesn't matter if you lose, but your effort to win shows who you really are, and Kantonians appreciate the effort of the trainers. He then returned his fallen comrade while also expressing his gratitude for a well fought battle.

Ash muttered a few words of thanks to Lugia as Tobias did the same to Latios, both returning their Pokémon to their Pokéballs as they now stepped into the battlefield.

"Well done Ash, that was indeed the greatest battle I had since the Sinnoh League. You truly deserve the title of Kanto's Champion" Tobias said as Ash grinned at Pakura.

"I told you I would got a match from him." Ash said as Pakura rolled her eyes as she kissed him, and the pale blonde trainer just smiled at the sight, still thinking if he should go with them.

"Alright so, ready to go visit your mom?" Pakura asked as Ash hummed

"Sure, but, Tobias, do you wanna join us in our journey to Kalos?" Ash asked as Tobias glared at him, now sure of his answer.

"I was going to ask you if I could go with you actually. I would be glad to travel with you. So, when will we leave?" Tobias replied as Ash scratched the back of his head, which is an obvious signal that he's feeling embarrassed.

"To be honest...." Ash stopped as he noticed 3 Pokemon as Pakura gasped at their sight. In front of them, stood three Pokémon, the upper part was shaped as a man's torso as the lower part is a cloud. One of them was orange, the other was blue and the third one was green. They were the Legendary Genes Thundurus, Tornadus and Landorus.

"The Unova Forces of Nature Trio" Pakura said as Ash sighed

"Let me guess. You wish to battle against me and if I win you're my Pokémon and if I lose I'll have to release the rest of the Legendaries am I right?" Ash asked as Tobias was impressed to see that more Legendaries stood in front of Ash, something shocking and astonishing.

'Indeed trainer Ash Ketchum. But not here, not with greedy people glaring at us' Landorus said as Ash, Pakura and Tobias nodded.

'Mew, take us to Mt. Silver' Ash said telepathically, as a little giggle was heard and then with a pink flash, they disappeared from the sight of the crowd, who just sighed and left, but not without talking about the previous duel. Meanwhile, Ash and the others now were at the top of Mt. Silver, Tobias trembling a bit because of the coldness, but Ash and Pakura were already used to extremely cold environments.

"So, who of the three will go first?" Ash asked as Thundurus stood in front of him with a fierce look.

'I'll go first, I've been very curious about your bond with our comrades, and I want to see it with my own hands' He said as Ash nodded, already having chosen who will he use now.

"Regirock I choose you!" He shouted as he tossed the Pokéball, revealing the Legendary Rock Golem that lies within the spherical device. He bleeped a couple of times before he noticed Thundurus and stood ready to battle.

"Regirock use Zap Cannon!" Ash ordered

Regirock's dots then started to glow as he bleeped and the dots turned yellow, now creating a sphere of electricity in front of his face and then started to shoot lightnings towards Thundurus, who didn't had too much time to react and was hit by the electric ball.

'You've become really strong Regirock. Now take this!' Thundurus exclaimed as his arm started to glow white and sped towards the Legendary Golem and just a few inches away from each other, Thundurus hit Regirock's guts, but he just stood and took the attack head on. Thundurus then noticed a turquoise glow around Regirock and he hovered a few feet away.

'Safeguard, very interesting Chosen One. But this is just the beginning!' Thundurus yelled as he launched a Thunder against the Rock Golem, who took it without his Safeguard and yet he looked unfazed.

'What?!' He exclaimed, surprised at Regirock not taking any damage by his Thunder.

"Regirock's a Rock Type, and Electric Type moves deal no damage to them" Pakura explained, snickering at Thundurus' mistake, who just scratched the back of his head while sweat dropping.

'I have been asleep for far too long that I forgot Type rules' Thundurus said sighing as Ash sweat-dropped with the rest.

"Alright then, Regirock use Ancient Power!" Ash said as Regirock then created an astral form of himself before it turned into a white sphere and launched it towards Thundurus, but the Thunder Gene wouldn't stay and watch.

He then surrounded himself with a purple glow and charged towards the white sphere, clashing head on, and with a bit of struggle, he passed through it and hit Regirock at an amazing pace due to the strength used at the clash, increasing his speed.

"So he used Giga Impact, now he's vulnerable for the next move" Tobias mumbled, examining the battle closely, but Tornadus then glanced at the pale blond trainer before he floated close to him.

'You, I can sense your aura human. You have the same aura the Chosen One has, something I've rarely seen' He said, eyeing closely the Sinnoh trainer, who looked a bit startled at the Wind Gene.

"Ehh-ehh, really?" Tobias asked nervously before Tornadus nodded, while Landorus watched Thundurus' battle closely.

'Indeed. I would like to have a battle with you human, the same rules applied to the Chosen One will be applied to you' Tornadus finished, as Tobias now was shocked to see that what happened to Ash was happening to him as well, but both turned back to the battle when they suddenly heard an explosion, and they now noticed that Thundurus used Hammer Arm once more while Regirock used Rock Throw, with Thundurus taking more damage by the Type disadvantage.

'Now this is getting more interesting' Thundurus thought, as now his gaze turned evil and a dark aura surrounded him, an evil and sadistic chuckle could be heard from him.

"Nasty Plot. Okay then, now use Zap Cannon once more!" He commanded.

Regirock's dots glowed yellow once more as a yellow sphere with little lightnings cracking from it was being formed and then launched towards the Thunder Gene, who took it head on, thinking that due to him being an Electric Type he would get reduced damage, but being part Flying Type has its disadvantages. It caused more damage than he expected, which caused him to groan but he shook it off, now preparing a blue sphere in front of him and then shot inwards the Legendary Golem.

"Focus Blast!" Pakura said as Ash widened his eyes and noticed the danger.

"Dodge Regirock!" Ash ordered and just in time Regirock went underground. Thundurus smirked as he waited for Regirock to appear, and as a cue, the ground started to tremble.

'Take this!' Thundurus yelled as he was using Brick Break right when Regirock came out of the ground, making him vulnerable and was hit dead on. The immense Rock Type flew back to Ash's side, his body bruised by the fierce hits.

"Regirock!" Ash shouted in concern, but then Regirock got up and bleeped a few times before he was standing ready to fight.

"Lock On!" Ash ordered as a dot appeared on Thundurus like a target, now realizing what happened.

"Hyper Beam!" Ash commanded as Regirock charged an orange beam and flew towards Thundurus who kept dodging as he tried to avoid the attack but after few seconds it hit, due that Lock On just brings the attacks towards you no matter what. Thundurus yelled from the pain as he fell down to floor unconscious, and as a cue, Ash rapidly grabbed a Pokéball in his hand.

"Pokéball GO!!" He shouted as he threw the catching device, as it hit Thundurus and it absorbed him inside, and as it closed, it wiggled once, then twice, then thrice, and a ding was heard, meaning that Thundurus was caught.

Landorus now decided to battle Ash next, but he was soon stopped by Tornadus who stepped forward and glared at Tobias. 'I demand a battle against you human! If you defeat me, I'll be your Pokémon, but if I defeat you, you'll release our comrades' He shouted and pointed his finger at Tobias, as he looked at one Pokéball he had in his belt and put it close to his face.

"'I'm counting on you. Raikou! Battle stance!" Tobias shouted as he tossed the Pokéball, soon releasing the Electric Type of the Legendary Beasts trio, who glared at Tornadus fiercely.

'Hmmm, it'll take more than type advantage to defeat me, human' Tornadus said as Landorus snickered a bit, remembering Thundurus now.

"I know. Raikou start this with Electric Field!" Tobias replied, soon Raikou was now roaring and electricity was being accumulated in his mane and soon it was released around them, making Ash's hair get up a bit, meaning that now the whole field was now full of static.

'Pretty good strategy, but for how long will it last?' Tornadus smirked as now his body was glowing, his man-shaped body was now changing into a bird, and when it faded, it revealed Tornadus in his Therian form.

"Hmmm, very interesting. But still... Raikou use Thunder Wave!" Tobias commanded

The Legendary Hound roared as electricity ran around his body then launched towards Tornadus, who was flying in an attempt to dodge the lightning bolt, but he was soon struck by one, paralyzing him in the process. Tobias saw the chance and he was going to use it very well.

"Now use Thunder Fang then Giga Impact!"

Tornadus was struggling against the paralysis to dodge the move, but it was too late. He didn't even noticed that the Legendary Electric Type was already in front of him with his fangs cracking with electricity and soon he was bitten, making the Wind Gene snarl in pain and soon was released from the bite but was tackled with too much strength after that. The Giga Impact hit its mark, but the paralysis faded and Raikou was vulnerable.

'Time for payback' Tornadus said as he now glowed red and charged a repulse beam from his mouth and shot it towards Raikou, who received an unmeasurable amount of damage. Tobias gasped as he now realized his fatal mistake.

"Payback, and due to the type disadvantage, Tornadus received more damage, and now that same amount of damage was backfired" Ash said as Pakura nodded and Tobias grit his teeth. He should've known that Tornadus knew Payback.

"Use Lock On then Hypnosis!" Tobias shouted.

Suddenly, a red dot appeared on Tornadus' torso then Raikou's eyes turned blue before a beam was shot towards Tornadus. He tried to fly away but the Lock On would make the Hypnosis beam follow him. Soon the beam caught up, making Tornadus fall asleep.

"Now use Dream Eater!"

Ash wasn't surprised that Raikou knew that move, after all it comes in handy when you have low health and need a one hit KO. Raikou's eyes glowed red as a spectral form of himself appeared and ran towards the sleeping Legendary Gene and soon got inside him, making Tornadus scream in agony before swirls replaced his eyes and Tobias saw the chance.

He then grabbed a Pokéball from his belt and threw it at Tornadus, who was then turned into red energy as the beam absorbed him into the Pokéball, now laying on the ground, as it wiggled once, then twice, then thrice, then a ding was heard, meaning it was a successful capture. Tobias smiled as he went to grab the Pokéball and soon clipped it into his belt and went towards Raikou with a smile.

"Thank you Raikou" Tobias said as Raikou barked happily, now falling to the ground in exhaustion as Tobias returned him. Now Ash and Landorus stepped back into the battlefield as Tobias sat beside Pakura to watch the battle.

"My Turn." Landorus said as he got a battle stance.

"Alright let's do this! Keldeo I choose you!" Ash exclaimed as he threw the Pokéball. The Colt Pokemon appeared in front of Ash, as it let out a snort as it prepared to fight.

'Hmm another Legendary Pokemon, interesting' Landorus mumbled as a smirk spread across his face.

"Are you ready Keldeo?" Ash asked earning a nod from the Legendary Pokemon. "Alright then start off with Aqua Tail!"

Keldeo immediately started charging towards Landorus. But before Keldeo could attack, Landorus burrowed into the ground, soon disappearing in it.

"Keldeo he used Dig" Ash said getting Keldeo's attention. "Remember your training with the other Swords of Justice. Sense where Landorus is going to come up then use Hydro Pump!"

Keldeo nodded and closed his eyes. He cleared his mind and tried to sense vibrations in the ground. Suddenly Keldeo jumped into the air, leaving a surprised Landorus swiping at air. Then Keldeo fired a powerful Hydro Pump hitting Landorus right in the chest. The Abundance Pokemon was sent sprawling to the ground by the torrent of water.

"Did we win?" Ash asked as he looked at Landorus who was a heap on the ground.

Ash was surprised when he started to hear chuckling.

"That was a pretty good strategy Chosen One..." Landorus said as he lifted himself off the ground, then Landorus cracked its neck and grinned at Ash. "... But it will take a lot more than that to earn my power"

"Okay Keldeo let's keep going, use Aqua Tail again! Ash commanded, and Keldeo again charged towards Landorus. But before Keldeo could attack it was tripped up by grass wrapping around its legs.

'Shit that's Grass Knot' Ash thought as he watched Keldeo struggle to try and untangle its legs from grass.

'Let's see how you like this' Landorus said as he charged a Focus Blast and fired it at the struggling Keldeo.

"Keldeo stop trying to untangle yourself and use Focus Blast too!" Keldeo stopped trying to get rid of the grass and fired off its own Focus Blast.

Both attacks collided and fought to overpower the other. But both attacks were even, so after a few seconds they created a massive explosion. The force of the blast sent both Keldeo and Landorus tumbling backwards.

"Keldeo are you alright!?" Ash exclaimed as Keldeo slowly lifted itself to its feet, signifying that it was okay.

'You are truly full of surprises' Landorus said with a chuckle. 'Now I understand why Arceus likes you so much'

Landorus' hands then started to glow as it flew towards Keldeo.

'That's gotta be Brick Break' Ash thought as he tried to think of a strategy to counter it, and soon he had an idea.

"Keldeo meet Landorus head on with Sacred Sword!' Keldeo immediately obeyed and charged towards Landorus, his horn now grew larger and was glowing blue, and it was as sharp as a double edged sword.

Both legendaries met head on, causing their attacks to clash.

"Seems we are evenly matched" Landorus said as both Pokemon fought for dominance, but then Landorus saw Keldeo smirk. "What are you smirking for?"

"Keldeo use Hydro Pump" Landorus went wide eyed when he realized he was vulnerable as he saw Keldeo open his mouth and fire a point blank torrent of water.

Landorus was sent flying backwards by the force of the water, but was struggling to get up.

"Okay let's finish, Keldeo use Aqua Jet!" Just as Landorus was about to get back up, it was hit head on by Keldeo's Aqua Jet. Ash, noticing the chance, he grabbed a Master Ball and threw it towards Landorus, soon being sucked into the Pokéball, and it wiggled once, then twice, then thrice, then a ding was heard, meaning it was a successful catch.

Ash sighed as he smiled at Pakura and Keldeo before he returned the Colt Pokémon then teleported to a Pokémon Center. Ash and Tobias handed Regirock, Raikou, Keldeo, Thundurus, Tornadus and Landorus' Pokéballs to Nurse Joy and now they went and have a seat.

"This is amazing. I've got a new Pokémon and friend today now, he even said I was like you Ash" Tobias said with a smile as he remembered Tornadus' words. Ash nodded and sighed at the incidents.

"It's been like this to me ever since I've won the Victory Conference, first it was Darkrai, Suicune was the second one, though she didn't told me that I had to release them if I lost, but Kyogre almost made me die. It's funny how I have to prove myself almost every time against Legendaries" Ash replied with a chuckle, while Tobias snickered along.

"I know how you feel. My Latios didn't trusted me and did the same thing with Darkrai" Tobias said as Ash really saw himself in Tobias and smiled, it was almost like Tobias was his elder brother. They stood quiet for a while before they heard someone talk.

"Hey boys, what are you going to do once we get to Kalos? Remember Ash that you'll have to hunt Elite Four members for our league" Pakura cut the silence off as Ash and Tobias now turned their attention towards the Raven haired girl and started to think, but a Raven haired woman, looking like she was in her 20's, wearing a black and magenta top with light blue jeans and brown boots passed by and heard her talk.

"Kalos? You're going to Kalos?" She asked the trio, who now noticed the woman and glared at her with confused expressions.

"Yeah, why?" Tobias asked, almost tilting his head to the side as Ash had that glare that said 'What he said'.

"My name's Alexa, I'm native from the Kalos region, I'm also a reporter so I came to Kanto to get some information for my article" She replied, now Ash was standing up along with Tobias and Pakura and shook her hand.

"I'm Ash Ketchum"

"My name's Pakura Ameyuri"

"And I'm Tobias Takahashi"

Alexa smiled as she realized who were the people she was talking about and grabbed her notebook.

"I know who you are, everybody knows. Firstly there's Pakura Ameyuri, the Vertress Conference finalist, then there's Tobias Takahashi, the trainer with Legendary Pokémon and the winner of this year's Lily Of The Valley Conference, and lastly, Ash Ketchum, the Master Of Legendaries, the winner of the Victory, Ever Grande, Lily Of The Valley and Vertress Conferences and the new Kanto Champion" Alexa replied, making the three blush at the mention of their milestones.

"Aww it wasn't much" Ash said while scratching the back of his head while Tobias scratched the cheek and Pakura laughed nervously.

"And turns out to be that my article was right about you, so I would like to make a few questions, can I?" She asked, as Ash nodded and soon enough, Ash and Tobias' names were called and they picked their Pokéballs.

"So, I would like to start with, which was your starter Ash, and how was your first experience with him?" Alexa asked, her notebook and pen in her hands to write every answer.

"Well, my starter was Pikachu, it's a funny story actually. I woke up late for the choice of the starters and rushed to the lab in my pajamas" Ash said and snickered as he said the last part along with the rest, while Alexa was writing every single word he was saying, listening carefully.

"When it was time for me to pick, turns out that all of the starters were taken already, but Prof. Oak made me an exception and offered me Pikachu as my starter. At first, Pikachu didn't want to obey me, he was stubborn, and he even made me tie a rope around him to bring him with me, and whenever I tried to return him to his Pokéball I was shocked. On our way, we've met a territorial flock of Spearow and Fearow. As I tried to run away from them, I fell on the river, but Pikachu was still running away from the flock, that's when I met Misty, one of the Gym Leaders of the Cerulean Gym. I had to borrow her bike and soon caught up with Pikachu, who was being barraged by the angry Fearow and Spearow. I grabbed him and then tried to run away, and it started to rain. I tripped in a rock and soon fell down, the flock then started to use Peck on me, and then Pikachu used Thundershock, which scared them away. The moment Pikachu defended me was the moment he realized how much I cared for him, and the moment our bond was formed" Ash finished, surprising Tobias and Pakura with his story. Alexa looked astonished, the Kanto Champion almost got killed to protect a Pikachu. With everything written, Alexa moved onto the next question.

"Now, it is said that Latios is your most powerful Pokémon. How did you caught him?" She asked, now Ash looked at the necklace holding Latios' Pokéball before he smiled.

"It all started in Altomare...

Flashback~

Back on the ground Ash was staring up at the bright light in fascination. The others were beside him as well. They were all praying and hoping that both Latios and Latias were okay and unharmed. Then a shadow appeared on the bright light and began racing towards them. Soon it got closer and they could make out the colors of red and white speeding towards them and stopping an inch from them picking up wind.

When it cleared it was Latias and she looked more distressed then she did ten minutes ago as she gave off her cries to Ash, but Ash couldn't understand her that well, but he seemed to understand what she was indicating. "Latias, you want me to come with you" he asked. Latias nodded frantically.

"What is it Ash" Brock asked.

"Latias wants me to come with her for some reason" Ash answered. "Judging by the way she's acting it must be important." Latias gently lowered herself onto the ground for Ash to climb on top of.

"Ash, be careful" Misty said to him. Ash gave her a confident smile before he climbed on top of Latias' back and with newfound strength Latias hovered back off of the ground and flew back towards the bright light. Soon Ash could make out the form of a very transparent Latios who was looking more and more transparent by the second.

"Latios," Ash called making Latios look up tiredly. "What's wrong?"

Latias answered before Ash could, 'He doesn't have much time left Ash' she said to him though the voice sounded like it came from inside his head.

"Latias" Ash said looked down at the legendary eon Pokémon. "Are you talking to me in my mind?"

'My Psychic abilities allow me to communicate with those I strongly trust mentally' Latias said in Ash's mind. Latias did strongly trust Ash so she was able to communicate with Ash to where Ash could understand her. 'But let's talk about this later' she said urgently. 'If we don't act quickly then brother will die.'

"Latios will die" Ash said shocked as he looked at the tired looking Latios becoming more tired by the second. "How can I help? I'll do anything I can to help out."

'Sis' Latios said weakly. 'Are sure that this is a good idea? I will admit that for a human Ash has a strong aura, but this is risky. If one thing goes wrong then his soul will be shredded and beyond repair. He's not a Legendary Pokémon like the two of us and the odds that he'll survive are very slim.'

"I don't care" Ash said surprising the two legendaries. Ash smiled brightly at the two legendaries "I've only known you two for one day, but to me you two have become friends to me and I'll do anything for a friend... even if it means giving up my own life."

Latios couldn't believe what he just heard. He had never heard of a human willing to sacrifice everything just to save another. Latios smiled at Ash, 'Very well Ash' Latios said. 'If your mind is truly set on this then I will not try to change it.'

Ash nodded, "So what do I have to do?"

Latias moved ash closer to Latias, 'You must transfer part of your aura and part of your Soul into Latios for him to be able to restore the Soul Dew to its previous form and reseal father's soul inside of the Soul Dew.'

"Okay" Ash said "But how do I focus my soul or my aura?"

'Just place your hands over me' Latios said. 'Latias and I will do the rest.' Ash nodded as Latias moved ash closer to Latios and Ash placed his hands over Latios' transparent form. Latias lowered herself, but Ash still remained floating in mid-air. Latias then appeared behind Ash and put her paws on his back. Then a blue glow emitted from Ash's hands and began enveloping Latios after a few seconds Latios' form was becoming more solid. Latios' eyes widened as he felt life flowing through him again. Latios then began focusing on restoring the Soul Dew as Ash's aura and soul began to reform his own. Ash gritted his teeth as he felt his body began to ache in pain as his aura left him. Latias looked at him worried and her concentration began to slip.

"No don't stop" Ash groaned out. Latias looked at Ash in surprise. "We're so close to restoring Latios back to normal. Just a little bit longer. Don't worry about me I'll be fine." Latias looked worried, but complied and resumed her concentration. Latios soon glowed a bright blue color and a small orb appeared and then the white light surrounding them glowed even brighter and exploded outwards.

Everyone on the ground was beyond worried especially when the light exploded outwards making them all shield their eyes from the brightness. Soon the light cleared and they looked into the air to see both Latias and Latios flying down towards them. A small orbed was resting on Latias' back while an unconscious Ash was on top of Latios' back since Latios was a lot bigger and stronger.

"Latios, Latias" Bianca and Lorenzo cried as they raced towards the Eon dragons.

"Ash" Misty and Brock shouted seeing their unconscious friend on Latios' back.

"Pikapi" Pikachu cried as he raced forward towards Ash and jumped on top of Latios before he could even touch the ground. Pikachu looked at his unconscious friend smacked him in the face slightly with his paw to try and wake him up, but it didn't work.

"Is he okay" Misty asked as they hovered in front of them. Brock raced forward and grabbed Ash and gently pulled Ash off of Latios and lowered him to the ground.

'He will be fine' Latios said in their mind. Misty and Brock looked up shocked. 'I can communicate inside of your minds' Latios clarified. Latios looked down at Ash and smiled slightly 'A human was willing to sacrifice himself to save me' Latios thought to himself. 'I have never seen a human with such a pure heart. Not since Sir Aaron of the Ancient times long ago.' Latias stared at Ash and smiled the biggest smile she could. She could never thank him enough for saving her from the Team Rocket grunts, being her friend and saving her beloved brother from death.

"What happened Latios" Lorenzo asked.

'When the tidal wave came I knew that I didn't have enough power to stop it together with Latias so I was prepared to sacrifice myself to save Altomare' Latios said. Bianca gasped out loud. She couldn't stand the very thought of losing one of her best friends. 'Then Latias came up with the brilliant idea of using another to try and help me bring myself back to life.'

"Aw Latias, you're so smart" Bianca said as she petted Latias. Latias cooed happily.

'After that she came back and got Ash' Latios continued. 'After I told Ash of what could happen he still volunteered to help me at the risk of his own life. He transferred some of his aura and part of his soul into my body to help bring me back to life and to help reform the Soul Dew.'

Latias presented Lorenzo with the Soul Dew. "Thank goodness" Lorenzo said. "We had better get this back to the Secret Garden on the double." Lorenzo and Bianca quickly took off back to the Secret Garden with the Soul Dew.

"Brother," Latias said to him, thought it came out in her usual coo. "We should get Ash back as well so he can fully rest and recover."

"I agree" Latios nodded. "Being a human it will take him some time for his aura and soul to recover enough." Speaking to Brock and Misty telepathically Latios said 'We will take Ash back to the Secret Garden to rest and recover. Would you two please load him onto my back?'

Brock nodded and heaved ash up onto his shoulder. Ash was surprisingly light considering that he ate almost as much as a Snorelax. Gently Brock loaded Ash on top of Latios and as soon as he did both Latios and Latias took off into the air with Ash resting securely on his back. While flying through the air they didn't bother turning invisible since it was the middle of the night and no one was out this early anyway. Latios saw his sister keep sending glances at Ash and Latios sneaked a glance as well and smiled.

Soon they got back to the house and Latias changed into her human form and helped Ash off of Latios and put him into bed and made sure he was tucked in. Latios chuckled silently over his sister fretting over Ash like a mother or older sister.

After making sure, for the fifth time, that Ash was okay Latias transformed back and the two of them left the house and went in the back to the garden. "It feels good to be back in the garden" Latios said. "After the events of tonight it really feels good to be back."

"Yeah it does" Latias said quietly as she looked back at the house. Latios followed her line of sight and without using any kind of psychic power Latios could tell what she was thinking.

"Is there something you want to say" Latios asked.

"Well... I..." Latias started nervously.

Latios smiled gently, "its okay sis, you can tell me anything." 'Though I can already hazard a guess as to what you want to say' he thought silently to himself.

Latias looked more nervous than ever, "Well brother you see... I want to..." Latias just couldn't form the words as she didn't know what her brother's reaction would be.

"Let me take a guess sis" Latios said. "You want to go with Ash when he leaves Altomare? Am I correct in my assumption?"

Latias froze in place, "Am I that obvious" she asked sheepishly.

"Do you REALLY want me to answer that" Latios said stressing the 'really.'

"No" Latias answered quietly. She continued in a more hopeful voice, "So is it okay" she asked. She gave him her famous cute look with her bright amber colored eyes sparkling, "Please" she begged.

Latios gave Latias the most serious look he could muster, "Latias" he said and Latias could tell this was his most serious voice since that's the only time he uses her name. "First I want to know... do you know what you are involving with what you want to do."

Latias replied just as serious, "Yes I do brother" she said.

Latios stared at his sister for a few seconds. 'Her eyes are unwavering with determination. She's dead set on going with Ash.' Latios smiled slightly, "Normally I would never allow this to transpire... but Ash has proven himself to me as well as he has to you. In just a short amount of time he has become as much of a friend as Lorenzo and Bianca are to me. I will allow you to go with him and I will be accompanying you on the journey as well."

Latias smiled the biggest smile ever and tackled her brother in a massive hug, "Oh thank you big brother. Thank you so much" she gushed as she nuzzled his face. Latios smiled and let his sister hug him to near death... again. "But wait..." she said suddenly. "If you're coming too then who'll look after the Soul Dew?"

"That's the main reason I'm letting you go in the first place" Latios said. "Come with me" she said. Latias followed Latios with a confused expression on her face as they approached the area where the Soul Dew was placed by Lorenzo and Bianca earlier. Both were now asleep along with everyone else except the two Pokémon outside right now.

Latios indicated to the jewel, "What about it" Latias asked.

"I saw what happened when Lorenzo put it back in the pool" Latios said. He stuck his paw into the water and the water shocked him and sizzled slightly making Latios pull his paw back with a hiss.

"What was that" Latias asked shocked as she looked at Latios' slightly smoked paw.

"Apparently" Latios began. "With the special enhancement that Ash gave me to help me reform the Soul Dew it must have strengthened it to where it will be impossible to pick it up or even attempt to penetrate the water surrounding it."

"So meaning that we no longer have to stay and guard the Soul Dew" Latias said and flew around in circles in joy. Latios chuckled at his sister's enthusiasm. "Wait why do you want to come with me?"

"Well there are a variety of reasons" Latios said. "Reason #1: I'm probably the only one besides Bianca and Lorenzo that can control your crazy personality." Latias smiled sheepishly while blushing slightly. "Reason #2: Although this place is nice I've kind of wanted to see the outside world as well. And Reason #3: I want to see Ash's dream come true. He saved my life and I want to repay him the best way I can. I figured that the best way is to help him achieve his dreams of becoming a Master."

"Aw, you're such a softy big brother" Latias cooed nuzzling his head.

"Am not" Latios said huffing making Latias laugh. Eventually Latios laughed a little as well and then the two Eon Dragons went to sleep in preparation to deliver the news to the others tomorrow.

The next morning or should I say afternoon came when everyone finally woke up. Ash was still sleeping in his room, but not for long as his eyelids twitched a bit before opening up. Ash rubbed his eyes tiredly and sat up. "Pika pi" As heard and the next thing he knew Pikachu had jumped on him and nuzzled his face. Ash laughed and hugged Pikachu back "Hey Pikachu" Ash said.

"Pikapi pipi chu pika pi chu Pikachu" (Hey Ash, are you okay?) Pikachu asked.

Ash could always tell what Pikachu said so he responded as though Pikachu spoke English, "I'm fine Pikachu don't worry." Then Ash's stomach gave off a violent rumble "Though I'm starving." Pikachu laughed. If Ash was thinking about food then it was obvious that he was feeling fine. Ash got up and after putting his hat on he went downstairs and into the backyard to see everyone sitting around talking amongst themselves with Latias and Latios hovering around enjoying the company the others brought.

"Pikachu" the small yellow rodent called out making everyone look over. When they saw Ash standing there as good as new they all rushed to greet him, but Latias was the fastest as she got there first and nuzzled his cheek with a lot of affection making him laugh.

"I missed you to Latias" Ash joked as he petted Latias on the neck making her coo. Ash turned to Latios as he descended in front of Ash as well. "You too Latios" Ash said as he petted Latios as well and Latios smiled.

"Hey Ash" Brock called "How are you feeling?"

"I'm feeling pretty good" Ash said. "The more important thing is... how are you feeling Latios?"

'I am doing just fine Ash, thanks to you' Latios said projecting his thoughts telepathically so everyone heard. 'If it wasn't for you and your selflessness then I would not be here right now.'

"Aw, it was nothing" Ash said sheepishly rubbing the back of his head.

"What do you mean nothing" Bianca said. "You help save Altomare from a giant Tidal Wave and more importantly you saved Latios' life. That doesn't sound like nothing to me." Ash blushed from all the praise.

"And once again you put your life at risk" Misty said bluntly. Ah, there went the little firecracker that always had something negative to say about him. "I swear you end up doing it too much."

"Can't help it" Ash said simply "It's in my nature." Ash's stomach gave off another loud rumble "Is there anything to eat? I'm starving" Ash whined. The others laughed at Ash as he rubbed his stomach. Soon a good meal was cooked up for Ash since everyone else had already eaten. Ash was whooping down it all so fast you'd think that he had been starved all of his life. Only Pikachu, Brock and Misty were use to this since they didn't have a reaction while the others nearly had their jaws on the ground.

Five minutes later Ash finished and he held his stomach and a sigh of content left his mouth, "Oh that was good" he said.

"Glad you enjoyed it" Lorenzo said snapping out of it. Latios decided this was as good a time as any so he gently nudged Latias in the side and nodded to her and she nodded back looking nervous.

'Everyone' Latios said telepathically in their minds making them look towards Latios. 'Latias has something she wants to tell you all.' Latias blushed in slight embarrassment as everyone's eyes were now on her. Latios took pity on his sister, 'But, unfortunately, she can't seem to communicate words in her mouth at the moment yet so I'll tell you all instead.' Latias glared at her smirking brother for the little jab. 'Latias has decided that she wants to travel with Ash and I shall be going along as well to keep her safe and help Ash accomplish his dreams.'

The entire garden was completely silent. Everyone could not believe what they had just heard. Especially Ash couldn't believe it. Not one, but TWO legendaries wanted to come with him on his journey. He felt pure joy building up inside of his body as what Latios had just said sunk its ways into his mind. Plus another thing that made it awesome was that Ash didn't have to battle them to catch them since they wanted to come with him in the first place.

Lorenzo didn't know what to think anymore. A lot of things had happened in the last few days that have drastically changed his life. "Are you sure this is a wise choice of action Latios. What about the Soul Dew? Who will be around to protect it?"

Bianca was shaking and tears were leaking from her eyes, "Why Latias, why do you want to leave us behind?" Latias looked saddened and flew over to Bianca and nuzzled her face while cooing softly and wrapping her paws around her.

'The Soul Dew is perfectly well protected now' Latios said to them answering Lorenzo's concern. 'When you put it back into the pool last night I saw it glow brighter than usual. I tested it out last night by dipping my paw into the pool. It smoked and sizzled my paw a bit and by doing that it would seem that by reforming the Soul Dew with Ash's Aura and Soul he made it stronger with a better defense making it so it would be impossible to remove it from the pool.'

Lorenzo still had a doubtful look on his face, "If you say so Latios. I will trust your judgment on this. I just hope that you know what you're doing."

Bianca pulled back from Latias and wiped her eyes before rounding on Ash, "You had better take care of them or else." Ash gulped slightly and nodded still half stunned that legendary Pokémon actually wanted to come with him.

"Well" Lorenzo said clapping his hands together. "I think we should give these three sometime alone to get to know each other better." The rest of them nodded and got up and left the garden leaving only Ash, Pikachu, Latios and Latias in the area. Ash still looked too stunned to speak so Latias went up and nudged him slightly to wake him up. Ash jumped a bit, but when he saw Latias' cute face near his he smiled and petted her slightly on the head making her coo happily.

"Hey Latios" Ash said getting the magnificent dragon's attention. "Not that I'm complaining, but what made you decide to come with me?"

"It was mostly Latias' idea" Latios admitted. "She wanted to get out of the area and see the world and she wanted to spend more time with you." Latias took this moment to nuzzle her head against Ash making him laugh and pet her more. Latios smiled at his sister's affection towards Ash. "But I also have my own reasons. One of them is that you probably would barely be able to keep up with Latias' mischievous ways." Latias pretended she hadn't heard him and continued to nuzzle Ash affectionately. "And another reason is that I owe you Ash. In a short amount of time you have become as much of a friend to me as Lorenzo and Bianca. And despite only knowing me for a day you risked your life to save mine. I want to help you accomplish your dreams of becoming a Pokémon master."

"Thanks Latios" Ash said as he hugged Latios and Latios hugged him back smiling.

'Okay this will work simply' Latios said as he and Ash separated. 'When you're ready to leave we shall let you capture us. I don't know if Latias is the combat type, but I am ready to start training.'

"Brother" Latias called though only Latios understood. "I... I want to learn how to fight."

Latios' eyes widened, "Are you sure" he asked in POKESPEECH. "You don't have to learn to fight if you don't want to."

"I do want to though" Latias said. "When I saw you trapped inside of that prison as those two controlled the city it was causing you so much pain and it took all of my Psychic power to break it when you could have broken it easily if you were at full strength. I don't want anything like that to happen again; especially if I have the power to stop it."

"Sis" Latios said impressed. Smiling he turned to Ash and communicated with him, 'Looks like Latias wants to battle and train with us in the future.'

Ash nodded, "Alright. I promise I'll help both of you get stronger."

Later that day Ash went over to the Altomare Pokémon center to make a call to Professor Oak, "Hello Professor Oak" Ash greeted as the old Professor answered the phone.

"Hello Ash" Oak greeted kindly. "How are you doing? It's been ages since you called."

"I'm doing good Professor" Ash said. "Sorry that I hadn't called in a while I've just been pretty busy for a while and don't even get me started on what I've been through the last couple days."

Professor Oak laughed, "Well it definitely sounds like you haven't been slacking. Oh yes I must ask, how many badges have you earned so far?"

"I've got seven so far" Ash answered. "I'm on my way to Blackthorn city to earn my final badge soon."

"Well then I must say you have quite a bit of catching up to do" Professor Oak said. "Gary has had all eight of his badges for a couple weeks now and is training his Pokémon for the Silver Conference." Ash cursed Gary in his mind. "By the way I hope you get that last badge soon since the deadline for registration to the Silver conference is only one month away."

"One month" Ash cried out in shock. "I need to get to Blackthorn city and quick." Remembering why he called in the first place Ash turned back to Professor Oak, "Oh yeah Professor I need to switch out two Pokémon now."

"Alright, which ones do you want back" Professor Oak asked.

"None" Ash said surprising Professor Oak. "It's in preparation for the new recruits I'm catching later today."

"Why don't you want them to transfer back to my lab" Professor Oak asked.

Ash merely smirked, "You'll have to wait and find out." Professor Oak merely sighed, but relented and decided to wait until Ash caught the two new Pokémon since they automatically appeared on his database computer every time a trainer in Kanto caught a new Pokémon.

"So which Pokémon do you want to switch out" Professor Oak asked.

Ash thought for a few seconds, "I think I'll switch out my Heracross and my Totodile." Ash pulled out the two Pokeballs and placed them in the transfer and they were gone in a flash. "Alright Professor see you later."

"Goodbye Ash" Professor Oak said before he and Ash hung up.

It was now about five o' clock and the sun was beginning to set and Ash, Misty and Brock were about to go and catch the last Ferry out of Altomare that led to Blackthorn city. Lorenzo and Bianca were saying their last goodbye's to the two Pokémon since this would be the last time they saw them in a while.

"Remember Ash take care of them" Bianca reminded him as she finished her hug with both of them.

"Don't worry" Ash said as he walked up to the both of them and pulled out two Pokeballs. "I promise to take care of the both of them." Ash opened up both of the Pokeballs and the two legendary Pokémon disappeared in a flash of red into the Pokeballs that closed with a snap. The Pokeballs didn't even shake as the center glowed red and then stopped signifying that they were officially caught.

"Alright" Ash cheered. "I caught a Latios... and a Latias."

After bidding Bianca and Lorenzo goodbyes the three of them departed the museum and headed towards the docks for the last ferry out of Altomare and were heading for Blackthorn city.

End of Flashback

"And that's how I caught Latios" Ash finished, to say that the three were impressed was an understatement. Every little word from Ash's response was written, and now it was time for the last question.

"Now, when are you going to start the hunt for the Elite Four members and the training Champion?" Alexa asked, as Tobias smirked and Ash had his answer ready.

"Tomorrow I'll start the hunt for the Elite Four members in Kalos, as for the training Champion, well, he was already chosen" Ash replied, while Alexa wrote everything on her notebook.

"And who would be the training Champion?" She asked once more, as Ash glared at Tobias before he nodded.

"The training Champion is Tobias Takahashi from the Sinnoh region" Ash replied, stunning Alexa as she wrote everything down. After composing herself, she checked everything and saw that it was done.

"Well, that's all I needed. Now I can go back to Kalos" She said, while Ash now had an idea.

"Hey, how if you come to my house? I have a faster way to get there" Ash suggested, as Alexa thought before she nodded, and after that they left the Pokémon Centre and got on their way to Pallet Town.
