"And I win again." Ara said with a smirk.

Kakashi took a glance at the Shogi board in front of him, and let out a sigh.

"Why are you so smart?" He muttered, as he put away the board.

"Because I am!"

Kakashi chuckled. "Whatever. Wanna have a round of poker?" He asked, pulling out a stack of cards.

Suddenly, Karasu's body tensed.

"Ara? You're okay?"

Instead of answering, Ara's head snapped towards the front door.

"Kakashi... Did you hear that?"

Kakashi slowly put his cards down.

"You mean... Those crumbling sound?"

Ara nodded.

Bull and Guruko began to bark loudly.

"Can you feel it?"

Kakashi stayed silent, trying to sharpen his senses.

"An enormous chakra..." Ara added, her voice barely a whisper.

She stood up. "Kaa-san is the Kyūbi's jinchūriki, right?!" She asked in realization.

"Yeah... What's with that?" Kakashi asked back.

"During childbirth, the seal will be weakened!" She yelled, before running towards her room.

Kakashi stayed in his place, trying to process the information.

Enormous chakra... Kyūbi... Childbirth... Weakened seal...

His eyes widened. At the same time, Ara ran out of her room, with Yūsha behind her, as a giant tiger. She had Sukoshi on her shoulder, and Kirā in her grip.

"You can't leave." Kakashi growled, teleporting to the front door, blocking her path.

"You can't stop me! I can't let Kaa-san or Tou-san die! And I don't want to lose Naruto, or anyone in this village!" She yelled.

"But what if you die?! Minato-sensei told me that you must stay here no matter what! It's for your own safety!" He yelled back, pulling up his headband, revealing his Sharingan, ready for action.

"If they die, the whole village will mourn! You will be the last of your team!" She screamed louder, as she secretly dropped Sukoshi onto the floor.

"What about you?!"

The girl growled, making some handsigns, her eyes locked to Sukoshi. Before Kakashi can react, the wooden scorpion had stroked his leg.

Kakashi fell to the ground, clutching his leg in pain, betrayal is obvious in his eyes.

"I'm sorry. But if I die, at least Otou-sama will be happy. And I can finally meet my real mom."

That's the last thing he heard, before he blacked out.

A tear fell from her eyes, landed on his face, as she ran out of the house, towards the chaos.

"Stop here, Yūsha." Karasu muttered. The tiger stopped all of a sudden, and Ara jumped off his back.

'Please make sure that Naruto is safe.' She commanded.

-What about you?! Your safety is my priority!-

'Yūsha, this is an order!' She yelled.

Yūsha sighed. He can't argue with her, he knows that. -Be careful.- he said, before he ran away.

Ara took a deep breath. She's alone now. Sukoshi is guarding Kakashi, and

Yūsha is guarding Naruto.

No need to worry for them.

With that thought, she ran towards the Kyūbi.

She can feel an unfamiliar chakra signature. But she choose to ignore it, and approach the Kyūbi.

As she got closer, she began to lose the control of herself. She can hear many people shouting, calling her name, but she ignored it. Her move is all depended on instinct.

While Minato is now in panic. The village is in danger. Kushina had insisted in helping him through the battle, even when she had just finished giving birth.

Enough stress for a day.

But Karasu appeared out of nowhere, approaching the raging Bijū.

"Ara! What are you doing here, dattebane?!" Kushina screamed, tears streaming down her face. No, she can't lose her daughter. Naruto needs his big sister.

The white haired girl didn't respond.

It looks like she was in a daze. Her eyes were blank, empty like dead, but glowing yellow. She had her axe in her tight grip. Her hair is flowing as if they were living.

"Ara! Go away! You will die here!" Minato yelled desperately. If anyone must die, it must be him, the Yondaime Hokage. Not an innocent little girl.

And he froze when he heard her answer.

"I'm willing to sacrifice my life for this village."

It doesn't sound like her. The voice is deep, but filled with warning and determination.

"Minato! I can't hold it any longer!" Kushina shrieked, as her grip on her chains is slowly loosened. The Kyūbi roared louder, wanting to break free.

"Hold a little longer!" Minato replied in panic, as he began to prepare his chakra to seal the Bijū.

But someone beats him on that.

Karasu ran towards the Kyūbi, and stopped right under it. With her axe, she made a large gash on the fox's stomach. The fox froze in shock, and Ara use the chance to form a series of handsigns, before she jumped and slammed her hand onto the ground.

A large dragon made of chakra appeared.

The dragon flew, and slammed his claws onto the Kyūbi's back, pinning him down.

Karasu began to make another series of handsigns. A sad smile crept onto her face, as she bit her thumb, and slammed her palm onto the Kyūbi's head.

The dragon slowly fades, just like the Kyūbi.

Everything fell silent.

The Kyūbi's gone. That's the only thing that ran through everyone's mind.

Kushina smiled. "It's done." she said weakly.

"Naruto's safe now." Minato added softly, as he teleported towards his wife, and hugged her from behind.

Then both of them fell to the ground.

Kakashi's eyes snapped open. He abruptly stood up, still breathing unevenly.

Then realization struck him.

"Ara!" He yelled, as he stood up, and ran out of the house.

And he froze immediately.

The Konoha had partially destroyed.

"Kakashi!"

He turned, to see Asuma running towards him.

"What happened?" The Hatake asked.

Asuma's eyes widened. "You mean you don't know? The Kyūbi was on the loose!"

Kakashi was too shocked to respond.

"Don't worry. The Yondaime Hokage had stopped it."

"Where's Ara?" Kakashi asked, glaring at the scene in front of him.

"Wait. She's not with you?!"

"SHE WENT OUT TO STOP THE KYŪBI, ASUMA!!" Kakashi yelled in frustration.

"But I can't see her anywhere. The medic only carries Lord Hokage and his wife. I think-"

Asuma couldn't finish his sentence, due to the fact that Kakashi had ran away.

"Ah!" Kakashi shrieked in shock, when something jumped onto his body.

He looked up, to see a pair of yellow eyes glaring at him.

"Yūsha?!"

He received a growl in reply.

"Where's Ara?" Kakashi asked the tiger.

Yūsha let out another growl, before he jumped off Kakashi, and began to nudge his shoulder.

-Hurry up and follow me. Her chakra is fading.-

Kakashi stood up immediately, and did as what he was told to.

They finally reached a clearing. Kakashi sighed in relief.

There, Karasu was lying on the ground.

Kakashi approached her. A small smile crept onto his face.

"Idiot. Ara Baka. You're making me worried. Stupid little girl. So reckless." He muttered, as he picked her body up, and walked towards the hospital.

"Follow me." The nurse said, motioning Kakashi to follow her. They walked through many long halls, before stopping in front of a room.

"Here. Lay her down." The nurse said, as she entered the room, with Kakashi behind her.

Kakashi put Ara on the bed gently, before he ran his fingers through her white hair.

"You may leave now. I'll take care of her."

Kakashi nodded. He bent down, and kissed her forehead.

"Get well soon, Ara Baka. Or no dangos for a whole week." He whispered, before exiting the room.

But just about 10 seconds after he closed the door, he heard a high-pitched scream.

A scream which came from the room where he had just walked out from.

I got exams for straight 10 days, giving me writers block. sorry for the long wait! I changed many things on chapter 6. On the description about the Kigaeru clan. If you want to read it, you might have to remove this story from your Library, before adding it again.
