It was a normal morning at the hospital. Well, not so normal...

The Fourth Hokage is sitting in one of the waiting room, with his wife next to him, worry is obvious in his face. Although the doctors decided to ignore him, some of the nurses had their fan-girl side turned on, causing the Red Hot Habanero to have a killing aura around her.

"Just tell me where's his room!"

The Hokage's eyes widen. That voice.

Karasu.

"He's currently still unstable! He can't have any visitors!"

"Then I want to meet his doctor!"

"But-" the nurse protested, and Ara cut her off.

"Do you prefer him to die?!"

Minato decided to walk towards the scene, to found the little girl glaring at the nurse.

Luckily, a doctor came, and decided to break the fight.

"What's happening here?"

"I need to go to Kakashi Hatake's room." Karasu replied, trying to suppress her anger.

"He's still unstable. You can't visit him."

The girl let out a growl. She pulled out a syringe, filled with blue substance.

"I've found the antidote." She stated, causing everyone's eyes to widen in shock.

"You can't-"

"Just please, trust me." She begged, tears threatening to spill from her eyes.

The doctor gulped. Doubtfully, he took the syringe, and gave the girl a small nod, and left.

"Ara? You really find the antidote by yourself?" Minato asked. The girl nodded, as she sat on one of the chairs.

"Who teach you?"

"Some old friends. They taught me lots about poisons and antidotes."

Minato smiled. He will never understand this girl.

She had been staying in Konoha for just about 2 months, and she had become close friends with everyone, especially the Hatake.

"I was so worried, dattebane. There's a crow sitting on the window. It's scary." Kushina muttered, causing Karasu to giggle.

"It's Yūsha!" She exclaimed.

-You've found it already?- she can heard her tiger asked.

'Yeah. Can you please come here?'

-Sure.-

The crow flew away, and soon come back through the halls, and landed on Karasu's stretched arm.

-You must rest, Ara.-

'No. Not until I heard that he's fine.'

Slowly, Kakashi opened his eye. Realization hit him all of a sudden. He was in hospital.

Then he find out that he's not alone in that room.

A crow is watching from the window. While a little girl is sitting next to him, her arms on the bed and her head leaning on them.

It was Ara.

"Ah, at last you're awake, Kakashi." A voice said, as the door opened.

"Sensei." The Hatake greeted.

"You got poison in your veins. You almost die, if Ara weren't there."

"What do you mean?" Kakashi asked, taking a glance at the white-haired girl.

"She's the one who found the antidote. She was so worried, she didn't sleep for 2 straight days, just working on finding the antidote."

Kakashi let out a sigh. "How long I was out?"

"5 days. She hasn't eaten anything ever since you blacked out."

Kakashi's eyes widened.

Minato chuckled. "She cares so much about you."

Kakashi nodded curtly. Minato smiled, and walked out of the room, closing the door behind him.

"Kashi-nii... You jerk!"

The Hatake was shocked. Karasu is already awake, glaring at him.

"You leave me alone with those freaks!"

"They aren't that bad, are they?"

"That's not the worst part!" She snapped, as she tears fell from her eyes. "You almost die!"

"Ara, I-"

"Don't say anything! I thought you'd never wake up.... You shouldn't overwork yourself! You should have gone to the hospital first! Instead you just go home to find me! You're lucky that the poison hadn't reach your heart! It took me almost 48 hours to find the antidote! I was so worried...."

"Ara...."

To say that he was stunned is an understatement.

"You Baka! Baka! Baka!" She keep saying, hitting the bed continuously. "Don't you realize what could have happen if Kurenai didn't bring you here?! You know what happen while you were unconscious?! I hit 2 nurses for trying to drag me out of here! And all of them tried to open your mask! Do you know how hard it is to stop them from stalking you?!"

"Bakashi... Jerk... You lazy ass... Almost got yourself killed... Can't you take care of yourself?!"

"Ara... I'm sorry, okay? How about you stay here for the night?" Kakashi asked.

Karasu nodded slightly, as she climbed onto the bed.

"Ara, I don't know you would be this upset." Kakashi muttered.

"That's not the point."

"Still, Ara, I-"

"Just shut up already, Hatake."

"Fine, fine."

Karasu smiled, before she fell asleep in Kakashi's arms.

Just then, the door opened.

"Ah, about time you're awake, my youthful rival!"

Kakashi's eye twitched. Why now, of all people, it must be him?!

"Where's Ara- oh." Asuma stopped himself when he saw the little girl cuddling in Kakashi's arms.

"You look so sweet.... Like siblings..." Asuma commented.

Kakashi replied with a shrug. "You and Kurenai look like a couple." He stated calmly.

A blush crept onto Asuma's face. "W-What?!"

The Hatake smirked. "By the way, where's Mrs. Sarutobi?"

Asuma's eyes twitched. "Rot in hell, Kakashi." He muttered, before grabbing Guy's collar and dragged him out of the room.

Kakashi chuckled and closed his eyes.

"The point is, your friends are freaks!"

Kakashi sighed, as he slammed his own body onto the couch.

"I know."

He received a glare in reply.

"Say, Ara, do you know where's my Icha Icha?"

The girl grinned. "There," she said, pointing at the dustbin, "as dust and ashes."

"What?!"

"I burned it."

Kakashi narrowed his eye. "Why?" He asked, with his word covered in sugarcoat.

"Because you leave me with those freaks for a week. Revenge is sweet, right?"

"And payback is a b*tch." He added, before he lunged at the girl, tackling her to the ground, and began to tickle her.

And someone decided to ruin the fun.

"Wha-" Shisui stopped when he saw the scene.

Itachi, who's standing behind him, began to crack a smile. But the older Uchiha couldn't hold his laughter.

And because of that, Kakashi stopped. Of course, Ara take this chance to escape. She slipped out of the Hatake's grip, and hid behind Itachi.

"Psst.... 'Tachi?" She whispered at his ear.

"What?"

"Hello." She replied with a grin, before she ran towards Kakashi and jumped onto his back.

"I'm a butterfly!" She cheered, giggling.

"What's wrong with her?" Shisui asked, raising an eyebrow at the hyperactive girl.

"Dunno. But I have my suspicion." Kakashi said, walking towards the cupboard, and grabbed an empty jar, showing it to the 2 Uchihas.

"See?" He asked, hiding his smirk, "she ate all of it."

"What is 'it'?"

"The snacks. Chocolates, candies, marshmallows, lollipops."

"Not my fault! I was depressed!" Karasu defended.

Shisui shook his head disapprovingly. "If you don't stop, you're gonna be addicted."

She pouted. "But I love sugar! Besides, who cares if I die out of diabetes?"

"We care." Itachi replied.

Ara snuggled her face into Kakashi's hair, hiding her tears.

'We care.'

It's enough to make her cry out of happiness.

"Ne, Kashi?" Ara asked, after Itachi and Shisui left the house.

"What is it, Ara?"

"Can I... ask you something?"

"Sure."

"Are you afraid of death?"

"No." the Hatake replied simply, before asking, "Why so sudden, Ara?"

Karasu smiled, as she leaned on Kakashi's shoulder. "Just.... curious. But why? Why don't you afraid?"

"Because it's my duty as a Konoha shinobi."

The girl looked down. "So, you're not afraid of having to leave everyone?"

Kakashi frowned. Nevertheless, he gave her an answer. "Of course not. If I have to, then I don't mind."

Ara pouted.

"You won't leave me, will you?" she asked, her voice barely a whisper.

Kakashi's heart skipped a beat.

He smiled, and ruffled her snow white hair.

"No, Ara-chan. I won't. I promise."

"That's good to hear, Aniki....." the girl trailed off.

Hearing the nickname, Kakashi raised an eyebrow. When he looked at the girl, she had already fallen asleep.

'What about this?' Ara asked Yūsha, showing him a dark blue turtleneck shirt.

-The color won't suit him.- Yūsha replied.

The scene is funny. A girl scanning through a pile of boys' clothes, with a tiger sitting next to her.

'How about this?' She asked, showing the tiger another outfit.

The tiger stay silent for a while, before finally answering, -Perfect.-

A wide grin plastered on her face.

"Kaa-san! I'm home!" Karasu stated as she entered the house, to be greeted by Kushina.

"What did you get, dattebane?!" She asked out of excitement.

"This." The girl replied, showing her mother the outfit.

"Great! It's perfect, dattebane! Now, help me wrap this up."

The girl sighed, as she took a glance at the calendar.

7th June.

"We still have 2 more days, Kaa-san." She said lazily.

The woman scoffed. "That's the point! 2 days! We will spend tomorrow making the cake!"

"Fine, fine..." Karasu muttered, as she began to do as what she was told.

Cool. It's not her birthday, yet she can't wait for it.
