The Clone Wars has reached a stalemate. For every system liberated by the Republic, another system is conquered by the Separatists, prolonging the war. With no end in sight, the Republic sets it's sights on the Mid Rim to take out the Separatists strongholds spread throughout the Mid Rim. On one such planet, K'Kruhk leads his Clone legion into battle in an attempt to capture a Separatist stronghold. As Republic Forces converge on the main Separatist base, K'Kruhk wakes up in an uncomfortable trench as rain begins to pour. As K'Kruhk was unable to sleep, it seemed like as if K'Kruhk was back on Jabiim. He looked beyond the trench to see the ray shielded Separatist base being bombarded by Republic artillery. The Clone Commander soon meets up with Vres to give her the  report on the battle. 

Clone Commander: General K'Kruhk. The siege goes well. The Seps are holed up tight in that base. But with my boys hitting those shields with everything they've got, the shields should be down in three months. 

K'Kruhk: Three months? But we've been here for a month already.

Clone Commander: Then we're on schedule. Sorry, General. 

K'Kruhk: It is not your fault, Commander. 

As K'Kruhk says this, he looks around and notices Eri's absence. 

K'Kruhk: Where is my Padawan? 

Clone Commander: Scouting the enemy's position. 

With that, the Clone Commander left to check on his men. As he left, Eri arrived with a cloth carrying something. As she sits down, Eri places the bag on the table. 

K'Kruhk: What is that?

Eri: Lunch, master. 

As Eri says this, she opens the cloth, revealing it to be full of live insects and worms. Seeing this mildly disgusts K'Kruhk. As Eri begins to eat, K'Kruhk becomes concerned. 

K'Kruhk: How can you eat this?

Eri: You always said I should feed off the Living Force, master.

K'Kruhk: That is not quite what I had in mind. Where did you get this?

Eri: From the enemy base. 

Upon hearing this, K'Kruhk was shocked. 

K'Kruhk: What? You were there? What were you doing? 

Eri: Reconnaissance. 

K'Kruhk: How did you get past the ray shields when our artillery was unable to? 

As Eri finishes eating a worm, she pulls out a drawn map of the area between the Republic trenches and the Separatist base. 

Eri: I found this ancient sewer system that goes right over the old city. 

K'Kruhk: So, I assume the plan is to crawl through the sewer, work our way our way to the shield generator, fight our way through the defenses, blow up the generator, knocking out the shield and all our troops swarm in and overwhelm the enemy?

Eri: Exactly. Let's go. 

As Eri got up, K'Kruhk couldn't help but smile at Eri's cleverness. Eri leads him to the entrance to the ancient sewer system while the Republic continues to batter the Separatist base's ray shields. When they entered the sewers, Eri leads K'Kruhk through the murky waters of the sewer. K'Kruhk's Whiphid senses immediately pick up the smells. 

K'Kruhk: What an incredible smell you've discovered, my young Padawan. 

Eri continued leading K'Kruhk through the ancient sewer systems. Eventually, they came across a pathway blocked by debris. 

Eri: That wasn't there before. The siege must caused part of the ceiling to collapse.

K'Kruhk: What now? 

Eri: We swim.

K'Kruhk: I was afraid you were going to say that. 

Eri and K'Kruhk then dived into the murky sewer water and swam underneath the water. As they swam through the water, they eventually reached the unguarded side entrance into the Separatist base. 

K'Kruhk: Most impressive, young Eri. 

Eri: Those ladders should take us right to the shield generators. 

With that, Eri and K'Kruhk climbed up the ladders where they reached the top, they peaked through a manhole cover. K'Kruhk and Eri could see a squadron of Battle Droids guarding the shield generator. 

Eri: Let's go! 

As Eri reaches for her Lightsaber, K'Kruhk was quick to stop him. 

K'Kruhk: Erii, wait!

As K'Kruhk pulled Eri down, a couple of Battle Droids heard the commotion, but upon finding nothing, they continued their duties. Meanwhile, Eri spoke to her master. 

Eri: We can take them, Master!

K'Kruhk: Patience, young one. There are alternatives to fighting. 

As K'Kruhk said this, he pulls out several small spherical bombs from her belt and quietly places them outside the manhole. 

Eri: Yes, my master.

Using the Force, K'Kruhk rolls the spherical bombs closer to the shield generator. The Battle Droids didn't notice the bombs rolling past them. Once the bombs got close to the shield generator, K'Kruhk gestured Erii to take cover. Before the Battle Droids could react, the bombs detonated, destroying the shield generator. Meanwhile in the Republic trenches, the Clone Commander leads the Clone Legion in battering the Separatist base's shields. Suddenly, the shields were deactivated. With the shields down, the Clone Commander sees his opportunity. 

Clone Commander: All right, troopers! All units attack! Move out!

With that, the Clone Commander led the Clone Troopers in a daring charge on the Separatist base while the artillery. The Separatist forces were overrun as the  Clone Troopers were able to capture the base. Outside the base, K'Kruhk speaks with Eri. 

Vres: Well done, Eri. Well done. 

Mordecai: Thank you, Master K'Kruhk. 

With that, the Separatist stronghold had been taken. Under the leadership of K'Kruhk and Eri, the Clone Troopers under their command had delivered another daring victory for the Republic. But despite this daring victory, the Clone Wars was far from over as it continues to rage across the Galaxy.
