At the heart of the Jedi Temple, Eri continues her Jedi training under Master K'Kruhk. It had been several years since their faithful duel with the fallen Jedi Mordred Jahl. Since then, Eri continued her Jedi training. Eri and K'Kruhk begin meditating on the Force. 

K'Kruhk: Center yourself, Eri. Allow the Force to flow through you. We are one with the Force and the Force is with us. 

Eri: Yes, Master. I am one with the Force and the Force is with me. 

As Eri began to meditate, she opened herself to the Force. As she does so, she sees a vision of the dying Mordred Jahl speaking of the darkness. 

Mordred(Past): I...I saw a vision. The Galaxy was in flames. The Jedi Order and the Galactic Republic were consumed by this fire. And from the ashes, the shadow of the Sith shall return and a new order shall rise to take it's place. All of the Galaxy shall fall to darkness....

As Mordred's words echoed in Eri's mind, Eri began to feel the darkness around her. K'Kruhk could sense that something was bothering Eri. 

K'Kruhk: Eri? What troubles you?

Eri: N...nothing, Master K'Kruhk. 

K'Kruhk: You do not have to hide anything from me, my young Padawan. Speak your mind. What troubles you?

As K'Kruhk spoke to his young Padawan, Eri thought about Mordred's words. Ever since that day, Eri had been troubled by what Mordred had said. 

Eri: It's...it's what Mordred said, Master K'Kruhk. About the growing darkness. 

K'Kruhk: What of it?

Eri: Do...do you really think it's coming?

K'Kruhk: I do not know, Eri. The Dark Side clouds everything. The Galaxy has reached a precarious situation. More and more systems are breaking away from the Republic. There is talks of war. 

Eri: Do you think this is what Mordred spoke of?

K'Kruhk: It is a possibility, but I cannot with certainty. What is clear that if war breaks out, there are not enough Jedi to fight this war. We are keepers of the peace, not soldiers. 

Eri: But what if war breaks out, Master? What will the Jedi do?

K'Kruhk: We will do what we can, Eri. But let us hope that is does not come to that. 

With that, Eri and K'Kruhk continued to meditate on the Force. Later, Jedi Master Mace Windu enters the chambers where K'Kruhk and Eri were. The two Jedi stopped meditating and bowed to Windu. 

K'Kruhk: Master Windu. 

Mace Windu: Master K'Kruhk, The Jedi have been called to intervene.

K'Kruhk: What do you mean?

Mace Windu: Obi-Wan Kenobi has been taken captive on Geonosis. He uncovered a plot by Count Dooku and the Trade Federation to break away from the Republic. It was the Trade Federation that was behind the plot to assassinate Senator Amidala.

Upon hearing this, K'Kruhk was shocked. Dooku had once been a respected master within the Jedi Order. To hear that Dooku was responsible for this plot came as a shock to K'Kruhk. 

K'Kruhk: This is....most troubling, Master Windu. 

Mace Windu: The Senate has granted Chancellor Palaptine granted emergency powers in light of this threat. Master Yoda will be visiting Kamino to see this Clone army.

Eri: A Clone army?

Mace Windu: Obi-Wan discovered that Jedi Master Sifo Dyas commissioned a Clone Army on Kamino ten years ago without the consent of the Jedi Council.

K'Kruhk: I remember Master Sifo Dyas. He was killed ten years ago. 

Mace Windu: Yes, but it appears there was more to this then we thought. 

As Mace Windu said this, both K'Kruhk and Eri were deeply troubled by the recent developments. It seemed as if Mordred's vision was coming to life. 

K'Kruhk: So war is upon us? 

Mace Windu: I'm afraid so. I will be taking a strike team of Jedi to Geonosis to help Obi-Wan and perhaps end this threat before it begins.

K'Kruhk: My Padawan and I shall accompany you, Master Windu. 

Mace Windu: Are you certain, Master K'Kruhk? If what Obi-Wan said is true, then the Separatists will have a Droid army at their disposal. Our numbers are few. This mission will be a dangerous one.

K'Kruhk: I am confident in my Padawan. Whatever danger she faces in this mission, she will not be alone.

MaceWindu: Very well, Master K'Kruhk. We will depart for Geonosis immediately.

With that, K'Kruhk and Eri joined Mace Windu's Jedi Strike Team to Geonosis. K'Kruhk and Eri gathered their equipment for the mission ahead. 

K'Kruhk: Padawan, listen to me carefully. This mission will be dangerous. This danger will be unlike anything you've ever faced before.

Eri: I understand, Master K'Kruhk. I won't let you down!

K'Kruhk: Our fate is uncertain, Eri. It is a high possibility that we may not survive this mission. But no matter what happens, I will protect you, Eri. You are strong and wise. I have no doubt that you will rise above whatever happens. No matter what happens, the Force will be with you. Always.

Eri: I am ready to face whatever comes our way, Master K'Kruhk. 

After gathering their equipment, K'Kruhk and Eri boarded a shuttle with Mace Windu and the strike team. The strike team consisted of 212 Jedi Masters, Knights and Padawans. It became clear to all Jedi on board that war was upon them. What they didn't know was that this war would not only erupt, but it would soon spread across the Galaxy like a wild fire. It would be a a type of war that the Galaxy has not seen for thousands of years. Despite this looming darkness, K'Kruhk and Eri would trust in the Force.
