Skills
In this game, there are several skills. Each cat will have two strengths and two weaknesses.

Fighting Skill
A higher fighting skill means that you will be able to land calculated blows in areas that will deal the most damage to the enemy, no matter the size of the cat. A lower skill makes it less likely that you will win a fight.

Fighting Power
A higher fighting power means that you can overpower the enemy by pure strength alone, not because of any calculations. A lower skill means that you will be less likely to win a battle.

Hunting Skill
In order to survive, you still need to eat! A higher skill level means you catch more, while a lower skill means you catch less. Don't catch too many prey at once, though, since you will only be able to carry a limited number of items.

Speed
Speed effects how many spaces a cat can move while traveling. High-levels travel 3, medium-levels 2, and low-levels 1. High speed also makes it more likely to either escape from an enemy or catch a fleeing victim, while low speed makes it less likely.

Searching
High levels in searching makes it easier to find other tributes and find herbs. Low levels are unable to sneak up on other tributes, and are very unlikely to find herbs.

Herb Knowledge
High levels in herb knowledge are able to heal easily. Low levels cannot heal.

Resilience
Resilience is how many health points you have. High-levels have 5, medium-levels have 4, and low-levels have 3.

Luck
High luck means, well, that your cat is lucky. This will make it more likely for this high-leveled cat to escape traps, catch prey, catch prey/tributes in traps, setting traps, and finding herbs. Pretty much whatever action has a chance of succeeding or failing, the lucky cat will usually succeed. However, lucky cats don't have that reliable of luck. Every fourth action, the luck will backfire and cause the cat to horribly fail at whatever task they were doing. It works the opposite way for unlucky cats; these cats will fail horribly for three actions, than have a guarantee of success on every fourth action.

Intellect
High intellect means you can set up more complicated traps with a very good chance of success. Low intellect causes that cat to be unable to set more advanced traps, and they have a low success rate with the traps they are able to set.

Items
There are multiple items that you can take with you. Each cat can carry a total of three items at a time, so use the spaces wisely.

Reinforced Claws
Reinforced claws raise your fighting power by a level. Can be found in the Cornucopia.

Sharp Rocks
Sharp rocks could be used to level up your fighting power, or they can be combined with prey or tribute traps. Can be found in the arena.

Water pouch
Water pouches are pouches that hold water. Can be found in the Cornucopia. Once a water pouch is used, the empty pouch can still be used by that cat to fill up when they come across a water source.

Herbs
Herbs are used to raise health points. Once used, an herb will be discarded.

Weak
Weak herbs can heal 1 health point. Can be found in the Cornucopia or commonly in the arena. Medium-levels and high-levels in herb knowledge can heal using these herbs.

Medium
Medium herbs can heal 2 health points. Can be found in the Cornucopia or occasionally in the arena. Medium-levels can rarely heal using these, only use if absolutely necessary or it could make injuries worse. High-levels can heal using these.

Strong
Strong herbs can heal 3 health points. Can be found in the Cornucopia or rarely in the arena. High-levels can rarely heal using these, only use if absolutely necessary or it could make injuries worse.

Prey
Each cat has a max of 3 hunger points. 3 hunger points is max health, 2 hunger points has no effect, 1 hunger point left reduces health points by one, and 0 hunger points causes the cat to starve to death. Hunger points go down by one each night. You can raise your hunger points by finding prey and using the command /eat.

Small
Small prey can be used for one meal before being gone. Can be found in Cornucopia, hunted, or caught in traps. Can easily be hunted by high and medium levels in hunting skill, and rarely be hunted by low-levels.

Medium
Medium prey can be used for one meal before reducing to small prey. Can be found in Corncucopia, gets caught by hunters rarely, or caught in traps. Can easily be hunted by high-levels in hunting skill, and rarely be hunted by medium-levels.

Large
Large prey can be used for one meal before reducing to medium prey. Can be found in the Cornucopia or caught in traps. Can rarely be hunted by high-levels.

Prey Traps
Prey traps can be set up to hunt better prey. Intellect effects whether or not you are able to set it up. Traps can be found in the Cornucopia or extremely rarely in the arena. Make sure to check up on them at the end of the day to find if they caught anything, and disassemble it before you leave the area (or else another tribute could stumble upon it and use it to their advantage).

Simple
Simple traps commonly catch small prey and occasionally trap medium prey. Any cat can set them up, but cats who are low-leveled in intellect could fail at setting them up. Prey are very likely to escape these traps. If combined with a sharp rock, the chances of the prey escaping go down.

Average
Average traps commonly catch small and medium prey, and can very rarely catch large prey. Medium and high leveled cats can set these traps up, but medium-leveled in intellect could fail at it. Prey could escape these traps. If combined with a sharp rock, the chances of the prey escaping go down.

Complicated
Complicated traps commonly catch medium prey and occasionally catch large prey. High-leveled cats can set these up, but they could fail. Prey very rarely escape these traps. If combined with a sharp rock, the chances of the prey go down to zero.

Tribute Traps
Tribute traps are used to trap tributes. If you succeed in trapping them, they are pretty much at your mercy for a while. You can kill them, let them go, offer to team with them, injure them, steal their items, or a mixture. Tribute traps can only be found in the Cornucopia.

Simple
Simple traps usually catch cats with low levels in stealth, intellect, or both. Any cat can set them up, but cats who are low-leveled in intellect could fail at setting them up. Victims are very likely to escape these traps. If combined with a sharp rock, the chances of the victim escaping go down and the victim usually gets minor scratches.

Average
Average traps usually catch cats with low stealth, low intellect, low resilience, high speed, or a mixture of these. Medium and high leveled cats can set these traps up, but medium-leveled in intellect could fail at it. Victims could occasionally escape these traps. If combined with a sharp rock, the chances of the victim escaping go down and the victim usually gets deep scratches or infections.

Complicated
Complicated traps can catch any cat. High-leveled cats can set these up, but they could fail. Victims very rarely escape these traps. If combined with a sharp rock, the chances of the victim escaping go down to almost zero and the victim usually gets broken bones, and other severe and possibly deadly injuries.

Bags
Bags add more spaces in a cat's inventory for items. They can be found in the Cornucopia.

Small
Small bags can fit two items inside it.

Medium
Medium bags can fit three items inside.

Large
Large bags can fit four items inside it.

Arena
The arena is a 7x7 grid. There are a few dangers; rivers, Thunderpaths, rats, wasps, and other enemies. The Cornucopia is on the block at the very center of the arena, while the terrains cover the rest. If you end a turn on a river space, you could be swept away downstream. If you end your turn on a block with the Thunderpath, a monster is very likely to run over and injure or even kill you. If you choose to spend your turn exploring the block, you could find helpful items (like traps, sharp rocks, or water sources) or harmful enemies (like wasps, rats, or badgers).

Bloodbath
The Bloodbath is the first event of the games. You have four options:

•You can run away in a random direction and ignore all the items near the Cornucopia. You travel as many blocks as your speed allows.

•You can grab a 3rd tier item (small prey, weak herb, simple trap, or a water pouch) and run away in a direction of your choice. This, however, will cause you to travel one less block than your normal speed.

•You can search for a 2nd tier item (medium prey, medium herb, average trap, water pouch, or sharp rock) and run away in a direction of your choice. This, however, will cause you to travel two less blocks than your normal speed.

•You can stay and fight at the Cornucopia to be the last solo or team alive there. You will get access to the leftover 2nd and 3rd tier items, as well as 1st tier items (large prey, strong herb, complicated trap, water pouch, bag, and reinforced claws).

Thirst
Each cat has a max of 3 thirst points. 3 thirst points is max health, 2 thirst points has no effect, 1 thirst point left reduces health points by one, and 0 thirst points causes the cat to die from dehydration. Thirst points go down by one each night. You can quench thirst by finding a water source and putting in the command /drink.

Health and Energy
All cats have 3-5 health points (HP), depending on how high or low their resilience skill is. If the health points get down to 0, that cat will die. Health points go down when you get hurt in battle or get hurt with traps. You can raise health points by using one of the herbs.

All cats have a max of 4 energy. Energy does not, however, show how many actions you can do. Each cat can only do one action per turn, though not all commands use energy and can be used as much as you want.

The 4 energy points go down by one every turn and each time you win a battle. If the energy points get down to 2, the cat becomes tired, causing all of their skills to go down by one until the energy goes up.

When you get tired, use /sleep to refresh the energy points. This will take up the whole turn, making you unable to perform any other task (even ones that don't use energy).

But be careful, as other tributes can easily attack you while you are resting. They will also get an edge in the fight, and will deal 1 HP damage to you before you can even get a chance to fight back.

If your energy points reach 0, you will become exhausted and pass out for a turn. It doesn't matter if someone is chasing you or if you're in danger, you'll just pass out.

Encounters
Encounters happen when two cats end their turn on the same block. You can choose to fight, flee, or ask the cat to team with you (which the other cat can then choose if they accept or decline the offer).

If the cat accepts, both cats are now a team. If they decline, both cats must choose to either fight or flee. If both cats flee, they will move one block in a random direction. If both fight, then a battle happens. If one chooses to fight and one flees, a chase will happen.

The result of the chase depends on the speed skill of both cats in question. If the cat being chased has a higher speed skill, they will move a block in a random direction and the chaser will be left behind. If the chaser has a higher speed skill, they will catch up to the other cat and a battle will happen (with the chaser having an attack bonus). If both cats have the same speed skill, then the chances are evenly split.

Battles
Both cats's chance of winning depends on their fighting skill and fighting power. If both cats have the same combined number of those to skills (for example, a medium-skilled in fighting skill and high-level in fighting power against high-skilled in fighting skill and medium-skilled in fighting power), the chances are evenly split. The battle will go on until one of the cats's health points reach 0. When that happens, that cat is killed and the victor can take as much of their stuff as they can.

Teaming
You can choose to have a team with a max of two other people. As a team, all of your inventories will be combined and you will have 6-9 (nice) inventory space depending on how many partners you have. The team, though, moves slower and will only move 1 block when traveling.

You can leave at any time by using /leave team. Though from this point on, your now ex-teammates might be after you.

The whole team needs to agree to do each certain tasks. So if one person wants to go after other tributes, but their teammate wants to hunt, nothing will happen.

If the team encounters another cat, they must choose to fight and cannot flee. Battles happen between two cats, so the team must choose a cat to fight first. The others will be backup, and will step in if the first cat gets defeated. If two teams with the same number of cats encounter each other, battle partners will be randomly decided.

Teams can assign one of them as a guard to watch over the others and their items while the other teammates sleep. This, however, won't increase the guard's energy points. You can choose to leave your team while the others are sleeping; you can leave peacefully with a fair portion of the total items, you can steal as many useful items as you can, or you can ambush your teammates in their sleep. If you win a battle against them, guilt will decrease your energy to 0, causing you to become exhausted and pass out.

Exploring
One action you can choose to do as your turn is exploring. You can find one of several options; herbs, reinforced claws, a bag, a sharp rock, traps to put in your inventory, a water source, a cat's camp, a dangerous animal (like a badger), a trap you get caught in, and another cats's prey trap. It could be very dangerous, so try to not constantly explore each turn to avoid injuries.

Sponsors
Sponsors are rich high-class cats who can send items to tributes. The more cats you kill and the longer you last, the more likely you are to get an item from a sponsor. The item can be any type of item found in the Cornucopia (herbs, prey, water pouches, bags, reinforced claws, sharp rocks, and traps). But there is a special item given only by sponsors; a resilience herb. This herb will raise the cats's max health points by one.
