(Ok, just it get this out of the way, Alice and masquerade are NOT the same person, also yes this will be a love story however masquerade will not fall in love until WAY later in in the story)

It was a stormy night and everyone was taking shelter from the rain, all except a boy with a mask.

"I can't believe I'm stuck out here" the boy groaned walking through the streets.
"What's the matter masquerade? are you lost?" said a dark voice coming from an alleyway "I'm not surprised, you always were can idiot"

Masquerade spun around just in time to see a black figure disappearing into the alleyway.

He decides to follow the figure but when he sprinted towards the alley he instead found a young girl.
Her hair was crimson red and had blue and green streaks running through it.
Masquerade pulled back her eyelids to reveal jade orbs.
She was wearing black boots, and a pair of purple gloves.
Her grey shirt stuck to her chest die to the rain.

Masquerade looked at this strange girl when he saw a red sphere float in front of him.
"Do not hurt her" the red bakugan demanded.

The bakugan turned out to be a pyrus Leonidis.

Masquerade then had an idea.
"If I rescue this girl then maybe she'll look up to me and want to join me, I could have my own little apprentice, along with this Leonidis"
He grinned at the thought.

"I'm not here to hurt you" he said sweetly, making him throw up a bit in his mouth, he sounded so stupid "I'm here to help you"
Leonidis stared at masquerade for a moment before nodding his head.

He returned to the girls pocket and masquerade picked her small body up.

"Soon, I'll have my student" he thought as he ran through the streets to his hide out.
