Hello, my name is Ari. Where to begin?!, there's so much to say *sighs. By day I'm an Academic Professional and by night I'm a writer. I hate horror movies. My genre are action and comedy. I would choose a day in nature over Netflix anytime and I laugh at pickuplines. Well that's it

1. Can you walk us through your writing process for the award-winning book? What initially inspired you to tell this story?

I was an avid reader on wattpad since 2016 and it was during locked 2020 that I got the inspiration to write a book. Initially title of the book was "Take my breath away" then I changed it into hearttobe because it is a romance book, the inspiration came real life situations to make the story more alive. The male characters Irwin and Gregory are the real names or my childhood friends. The inspiration is to portray a strong female character who has her own problems yet she doesn't give up, instead she embrace the opportunities around her to make the best outcome.

2. Were there any specific challenges you faced while writing this book? How did you overcome them? Did you have any moments of breakthrough or epiphany during the writing process?

I won't say challenges but instead it was gaps, storylines gaps between the time frame and surroundings of the character. To overcome it I plan my chapters while relating them so as to have a proper story flow.

3. What drew you to write about these particular characters? What themes were you hoping to explore with this book?

The male characters are the name of my childhood friends. I liked their names that's why it inspired me to build up different characters on them. The themes I wanted to explore was self-love, comfort, understanding and respect. I want my readers to feel the storyline, to connect with the characters as they are reading the story.

4. What kind of impact are you hoping your book will have on readers? Have you heard any interesting feedback from readers so far?

I want my reader to know that self love is important, people can be narcissistic and toxic but it is them who has the power to turn around their lives and situations. Through the story of Abelia I want them to understand that both financial independence and intelligence is important. Abelia is rich yes but she is also humble and kind. A universal message to stay kind and humble always. The feedback I received has been positive so far as people liked the way I portray different situations and love stories.

5. Who were some of your early influences as a writer? What books or authors shaped your own writing style?

I would say the inspiration are drawn from C-dramas as I wanted to write a smutfree romance book which is actually rare nowadays. I would say I've a different writing style as my words are penned down like a movie script (received that as a feedback as well in 2020)

6. What advice would you give to aspiring writers who are just starting out?

My advice would be to plan your ideas so as not to get confused about where those ideas would fit. You can do it, good luck. FIGHTING!

7. What does winning this award mean to you in your career as a wattpad writer?

It's been an honor for me to receive appreciation for my work. This motivates me to try my best to win more awards. Thank You for your appraisal.

8. Can you tell us a little bit about what you're working on next?

My name is Ari, Heattrob means a lot to me since it is my first book. My second book is Her Dark Knight, this one is a completed young adult romantic book. I am currently working on another romance novel titled as 'Inked Hearts'. I want to connect readers to the characters of my books which is why I try to portray a realistic side instead of 100% lovey dovey. Tough question ahh; well maybe myself since the characters match my traits xD
