Once father had gone  I started mingling  with  everyone  and being a good hostess  I met many  different  clan  members  such as vampires,fae,dragons,cat shifter  clans  bear shifter clans werewolves ,witches and so on  I spoke to a few laughing and joking and  I also asked if they had eaten   some said they had others hadn't  and those who hadn't  I got them a place  at the feast to eat.

While being a good hostess I saw  the double crescent pack  alpha  and luna  I greeted them and talked a bit   the alpha  began opening up  with me  and so did the luna I then asked  about kimberley  they told me that she was with  her grandparents  for a few nights  I smiled and asked if they had anymore children apart from Kimberley  the alpha became quiet but the luna told me they had a son  who died on a mission  to help another pack.

I gave my condolences  and apologised
For opening  old wounds  they smiled and I told the drink waiter to give the Double crescent pack  alpha and luna a drink  once he was done I began talking to an  elf clan  they were very silly and  the elf clan leader had to slap one of his clan members  from looking up  the ball gowns of women  I chuckled  soon I felt a pull towards the five men  I had seen Earlier  and I walked up to them.

Once I was near the men  I bowed and  said

"Good evening  gentlemen  my name is  Princess Lilith  and welcome to the Keiflang masquerade ball  at  Florence Castle  how are you all doing this evening  and  what clan are you all from"

It took a minute  before  the man who looked like  the leader  replied  in a deep masculine  gruff voice after kissing my  hand in a formal way  that left my stomach   with  butterflies

"Good evening   beautiful  lilith you look absolutely  ravishing today   and so kind  of you to approach  us  even after all the weird looks the other clans  and guests are giving you"

I mean when  this tall dark and handsome  fellow  told me about all the  looks I was getting  i kinda knew it beforehand  since I could feel there eyes on me but I chose to ignore it as this group of men  were also our guests  along with the others so I smiled and said loud enough for everyone  to hear.

"Well then I guess  the other lovely  clans should understand  that you five along with  them  are all guests  here at Florence  Castle  and despite what differences  everyone has outside  it shouldn't  ruin the experience  for others"

The other clans looked down and I could hear them mumbling that I was right and at least for these three nights  they should keep there opinions  to themselves  I smiled  and I could feel the stunned  looks the five were giving  me  I told them to come in they all stepped  foot in the castle  and I heard the leader  saying

"Oh my you must be something  special   beautiful  lilith   as this is the first  time  we have ever been invited  anywhere   in years"

"Why are you  never invited  to functions  young sir  is there a problem  we should know about because I would like to use the magic of  these three nights  to  stop any problems  and unfair  scrutiny  that other have against each other and unite the magical  worlds"

Unfortunately  our reputation  and  clan  names  are considered evil and not worthy"

"What is your  clan name if I may ask without offending  anyone"

"Hell Demon  Hounds clan our reputation  is because of how in our clan  if we are ever betrayed  or anyone  does  anything that goes against the clan rules there only punishment  is death by decapitation or  by bloodletting"

"Oh my that is  a scary rule and if  the others  fear you  then they must also fear for there lives but without  Offending  your clan  and its people  don't you think  death should be a last resort because if people lie or feel the urgency  to betray your clan  you may need to understand  that maybe  there in dire need of help and because you all use death as a sole punishment  your people may fear coming  to you for  assistance  if I was a clan leader   I would imprison my  people  if they commit an offence and then I would listen to  why they did what they did if its because there sick or there families  I will help them and if it was to harm me and fellow clan members  then I would use death "

"Hmm you have a point beautiful  lilith  maybe I will take your idea into account  and we will test it  out  thank you princess"

"My pleasure clan leader here to help"

"Please call me Tyrone  these men are Luca,Cade,Hunter and Silas"

"Good evening  to you all OK Tyrone  I will see you later please enjoy  and much later the dances will begin goodbye"

I left the table feeling  sad  and empty   but I was glad to see many clan leaders were beginning  to talk to the Hell Demon Hounds clan I could see that the clan  members  felt odd  but once Tyrone  caught my eyes I nodded and  he understood  it wasn't long before he began showing  confidence  talking to other clans .

I took my seat besides my father   and while sitting I saw lyndsey  talking to a few girls  when I approached  her she shunned me and then I heard what one of the girls asked her

"Hey lindsey  who's the girl "

"Hmm  shes no one   special  just my dads bastard child"

I was in shock  at what lyndsey  said  but I wasn't one to back down I approached  lyndsey  and slapped her  hard  my slap echoed around the entire dining  room  and I said

" Oh  really  lyndsey I am no one  just    fathers bastard child  do you know how pathetic  you sound  do you know who I am and who you are because I will tell you i am fathers real blood  daughter  I am the true princess of  Flabosnia and one day queen your cynthias bastard child  she had an affair  behind father  back  after she forced my mother  Queen Florissa  to leave  father.
