Mother told me that based on perspective  the fight might seem  barbaric  but in all honesty  it wasn't  even a real fight if seen by tradition then the fight was only to see if the suitor /suitors  would  be able to do there duties  and protect the girl they chose no matter what the circumstances  mother explained  that the fight would be a rite of passage  that a boy was now  a man  who would be ready for marriage  or at least an engagement .

I cringed but understood  and agreed to go to the fight if I was tagged as a potential  wife  I trusted  mother  and  my freinds  did too  they became   giddy  knowing  that they might be chosen  as wife  but me well I was terrified  because I didn't want to  marry yet  I wanted to become a nurse   mom understood my feelings  and said if the man or men were good they would not force  my hand .

I smiled at her but in my mothers eyes I could see she was hiding  something  I didn't  push  her for information  and we carried on talking about  the ball  all night until the day of the ball had finally  arrived  and everything  was  going fast  the school  was  being cleared  a few  cooks worked on the feast.

  Every girl had an appointed  hair stylist   and makeup artist  imagine my shock when the luna of the Double crescent pack  was my personal  hairstylist and  makeup  artist  when she saw me she smiled and when she saw my room  she told me of how many  times her and my mother got into  mischief.

when I asked her what she meant  she told me that  there was a secret passage  in this room and  it led to the kitchen  she told me of how her and mom  used the passage  to get midnight  snacks and  how they left the school  undetected  I awed  in shock and I stared at mothers spirit  from the corner  of my eye but  mom floated  away whistling  the luna turned as soon as mom whistled and then she turned to look at me  and  asked  if I heard the whistle.

I nodded and I saw the luna cry  she looked broken  and thats when I knew how deep my mothers and the lunas freindship  must've been  I patted the luna on the back and she began to sob  I let her cry it out  once she was done  her eyes were puffy and red and  she looked old and withered  rather then her glamorous  self mother stood there looking at her sadly  and  I knew she wanted to console her long time freind.

When the luna stopped crying  and my hair and makeup was done I had a nice look at myself  in the mirror   my dress my makeup  all looked fantastic  I wore my heels and made my way down the steps only when I reached the bottom steps  I saw my fathers  standing  there  they  all looked me over and smiled saying I looked beautiful.

  I smiled back at my fathers and I took my own dad's arm king Carlisle  and I  asked my father where step mother and lyndsey  were he told  me that  lyndsey  was here  at the ball and stepmother  had gone to  Paris for a vacation  he told me that my stepbrother went with her to keep an eye on her.

I was glad I had my fathers with me  at the very first masquerade ball and I enjoyed  seeing  others dressed up in there ball dresses and suits before  the festivities  even began   we were all seated  in the meeting  room  and grandmother  came on stage  and said

"HELLO AND WELCOME  TO ALL THE GUEST ATTENDING  OUR UNIVERSITIES SPECIAL  BALL  THAT WE HAVE WAITED MANY MOONS TO COME THE LAST MASQUERADE  BALL WAS HELD OVER A THOUSAND  YEARS AGO WHEN MY GREAT GREAT GREAT GRANDFATHER  LIVED HERE FOR HIM THIS BALL WAS IMPORTANT  AS HE RULED OVER THIS LAND AS A BACHELOR.

  ITS ONLY WHEN THIS MAGICAL 3 NIGHT  MOON   CAME OUT DID HE FIND A BEAUTIFUL FAE PRINCESS  IN THE ENCHANTED FOREST THAT HE DECIDED TO MAKE HER HIS WIFE THOUGH AT THE TIME  IT WAS FORBIDDEN  FOR THIS  INTERSPECICES BREEDING  AND MATING TO HAPPEN  MY GRANDFATHER AND GRAND MOTHER  FOUGHT  TO HAVE THIS  HAPPINESS AND CREATE A NEW  WORLD.

THE  BALL WAS CREATED  BASED ON EVERYTHING  THAT HAPPENED  THOSE  3 NIGHTS  FROM  DANCING  TO DOING FUN CHALLANGES TO HAVING A BRAWL  OVER WHO GOT TO.MARRY  WHO  DID THIS BECOME A TRADITION  OF COURSE  WITH THESE 3 NIGHTS  OF MAGIC BEING SO RARE WE HAVENT HAD TIME TO INFLICT THESE  TRADITIONS  OFFEN

I was so shy  when grandmother  called me and my brothers  on stage  but luckily  grandmother  ordered  our fathers to have us put on the masks and wearing those we went on stage  my brothers  all cacooning me  from everyone's eyes I could see gis swooning over all my brothers especially  Jose but Freya gave them a dirty look and  kissed him infront  of  everyone Jose laughed and muttered something  that sounded  like "sexy jelouse witch" cue my gag reflex    my other brothers  tried not to grin and I also warned them  with my eyes that if they did then it would be painful.
