"It's Monday, Monday. Gonna get down on Monday." Nico sang as we exited the car, causing multiple people to turn around and look at us. Miles rolled his eyes at his brother's antics, though I couldn't help but laugh.
"You do know that those aren't the words to that song, right?" I snort as he continuous humming the song while we make our way towards the school.
"I do in fact know that those aren't the correct lyrics, however, I feel like it quite fits. Don't you?"
I laugh again, shaking my head. "Um, yeah sure."
"Good Morning my lovely, little nuggets!" Piper beamed, popping out of nowhere.
Mason groaned. "Why the hell are you two so freaking chipper?"
Nico threw his arm around Piper's shoulder tugging her to his body. "Why are you so grumpy?"
"Because it's Monday and we're at school."
"School is an amazing place." Piper smiled, brightly, her arm resting around Nico's waist.
"They had sex." I deadpanned causing recognition flare in Miles' eyes.
"Makes sense."
"We did not!" Piper yelled, causing yet again, for people to look at us. "We did not!" She repeated, though this time with a whisper yell.
"Did too," I said, chuckling as her face turned red.
"We did and it was so good." Nico gleamed, elongating the O, looking off into the distance, a dreamy look on his face whilst Piper on the hand, looked mortified that Nico had blatantly come out and admitted it.
I snickered at her beat red face, leaning against my locker, "Was it so good Mason?" I smirked.
"Shut up, Loser."
"Oh hey, are you going to come to the game tonight?" Nico interrupted, turning to Piper."
"Depends."
"On what?"
She looked around him, "Mason, you want to come to the game with me?"
"Uh, yeah sure."
Looking back to Nico, she smiled, "Yeah, we'll be there."
I looked to Miles, "You coming?"
"Oh, uh, no, I um, I can't, I have something." he stuttered, his cheeks tinting pink.
"Okay then."
"It's freezing ballsacks out here." I groaned, following behind Piper as she led the way towards the bleachers.
"You're wearing a turtleneck and a leather jacket."
"Doesn't mean I'm not cold." I defend. "Why are we sitting in the front?"
"Because I want to be able to see Nico's butt in his uniform." She shrugged.
"Um, ew." I shivered in disgust.
"Don't ew me, Missy. You and I both know that Nico's attractive."
"Yeah, I mean, he's not bad looking or anything but, he's Nico. He's like my brother."
"He's still hot."
"Can we please stop talking about how hot you think Nico is?"
"Sure, sure. Let's talk about you, we need to get you a man."
"No thank you."
"What do you mean, No thank you?"
"I mean, No thank you. I don't need a man."
"Mase, not every guy is going to be like Alex."
"This has nothing to do with Alex, I just, I don't need a boyfriend." Okay, that was a complete lie, it had everything to do with Alex, but I wasn't about to admit it.
"Say whatever you want Mason, I just want you to know that you shouldn't let Alex ruin you getting a boyfrien, if that's what you want."
I nodded, turning back to the field. She was right, I shouldn't let what happened between Alex stop me from liking other guys but to be quite honest, I wasn't sure if I wanted to even have a boyfriend, regardless of what Alex did or not. I mean, sure he was douche and yeah, his words hurt but I shouldn't have really expected anything more from him. He's been an complete and utter dick to me the entire time I'd been here. To honest, I couldn't even tell you how or why I had even developed a crush on him, if that's what you can call it. I mean, maybe I was just more physically attracted to him than anything. I'm not about to sit here and lie and say that he isn't a gorgeous human being but that doesn't mean his personality matches and honestly, that plays a huge part in liking someone as well. I shook my head, focusing my attention back on the field as our school ran out on the the AstroTurf.
"You have to admit, Nico's ass looks fine as hell in those pants."
"Again, ew." I shuddered. I sat silently as the crowd cheered and Piper continued to comment on how sexy Nico looked in his uniform. As soon as half time came, I jumped up, my butt numb from the metal bleachers and in desperate need of something to eat and drink. "I need food, you wanna come get some?"
Piper scoffed, "Is that even a question?"
I shook my head and smiled, leading the way down the metal steps. Of course, this was horrible timing on my part, seeing as everyone else was getting up to do something while the game was, for a lack of better words, paused.
"What are you going to get?" Piper asked, glancing around while we stood in line.
"Uh, I don't know actually. Maybe some nachos and a soda. Oh, maybe I'll get a hot dog too and some fries. Yes, definitely some fries."
"A little hungry there, are we?"
"Hey, don't judge."
"Okay, I won't but as long as you share you Nachos with me."
"Hell no, get your own nachos."
"Fine, but I won't be sharing any of my food with you, so don't even ask." She huffed, crossing her arms.
"Fine by me." I smiled seeing that it was our turn to order.
"I still can't believe you ordered all that food." Piper chuckled, watching me struggle to carry everything as we made our way back to our seats.
"Hey, I thought I told you, no judging."
"I'm not judging. I'm simply making an observation and stating a fact."
"A fact about what?"
"You know what, just quiet and keep walking."
"How rude." Shoving a chip covered in cheese sauce into my mouth, I moan, stopping to face Piper, I smirked, continuing to walk backwards.
"You're such a twat, I hope you know that.
"It's so good."
"You have cheese sauce on your face."
Out of nowhere, my back smacked into something. Turning around, I came face to neck. Slowly, I lifted my head up, coming face to face with a beautiful human being, clad in a football uniform.
"Cheese on your face." Piper quickly whispered in my ear.
My hand shot up to my face, wiping the cheese off the corner of my mouth. "I, Uh, Sorry." God Mason, why do you have to be such a damn idiot.
"No need to apologize." A panty dropping smile growing on his lips. "I'm Luke."
I nodded, my mouth slightly ajar as I continued to stare at him.
"Your name is Mason." Piper whispered in my ear, yet again.
I shook my head. "Mason." I smiled back, though I'm pretty sure my face was as red as a lobster and most likely looked like I was constipated.
"I uh, need to get back to the game, but could I get your number?"
I nearly choked on my saliva. "I, we, you want my number?"
He laughed and boy did it sound beautiful. "Yes, if you'd like to give it to me."
I nodded, "Oh, wait. Yeah, It's 971-090-2019."
He smiled up at me, sliding his phone into his pocket. "I'll text you after the game."
"Oh, okay."
"It was nice meeting you, Mason."
"Y-you too."
As soon as he was out of hearing distance, Piper squealed. "Mason's got a boyfriend, Mason's got a boyfriend." She sang while I stood there, still slightly in shock. "Hello, earth to Mason."
I shook my head. "Sorry, I, what? No, no. He's not my boyfriend."
"He could be. Did you see how hot he was?"
"What about Nico?"
"Oh, no. Don't get me wrong. I still want Nico but that doesn't mean I can't admire a fine piece of ass when I see one."
"How would you feel if Nico said that?"
Her eyebrows furrowed instantly, "Good point."
"Let's go. I think the games about to start and my foods getting cold."
"Do you not even care that an attractive guy, a football play might I add, just asked for your number."
I shrugged, sitting back onto the bench. "He asked for my number, that doesn't mean he's going to call me."
"Would you quit acting so nonchalant. You could barely talk in his presence and now you're acting like it's no big deal."
"I mean, yeah. He was attractive and all but, I'm not going to get my hope up incase he doesn't text me."
"I get but still,"
I sighed, taking a bite of my hotdog. "Yeah, he sure was pretty." I ended up sharing my nachos with Piper and some of my fries and in return, she let me have some of her hamburger. "You know what sounds good?"
Piper was focused on the game or moreso, Nico as he was bent over, grabbing his water bottler of the ground. "You just ate."
I chose to ignore her negative words. "Ice cream, I could go for some ice cream."
Her head snapped to me, "Oh, yeah. That does sound good, we'll go get some after the game. It's almost over. Yeah?" I nodded eagerly.
Eventually, the game ended and once again, Piper and I were trailing down the metal stairs, though, this time much slower than before do to the multiple other people leaving as well.
"Aren't you going to stay to say goodbye to Nico?"
"Nah, I have to drop you off at home anyway. I can just talk to him then."
I nodded, "Now let's go get some ice cream."
Once again, I was in the middle of shoveling food into my mouth, though this time being the absolutely delectable, Mint chocolate chip ice cream topped with sprinkles and chocolate syrup, when my phone dinged.
"Oh my God, I bet it's him!" Piper burst, chocolate, peanut butter ice cream nearly falling out of her mouth.
I couldn't help but roll my eyes, swallowing the mouthful I had just taken eaten. "I'm sure it's just one of the boys."
"Yeah, your new boy toy." She grinned, waggling her eyebrows.
"He is not my new boy toy. He's not my new anything." I mumble, pulling my phone from my back pocket.

Hey.
It's Luke by the way.
Mason
Hi.
"It's him isn't it?" Piper cooed.
"Yes." I mumbled, glancing at her while continuing to eat my ice cream.
"What did he say? What did he say?"
"Hey."
"And what did you say?"
"Hi."
"Gosh, you're so boring."
I laughed, "I'm sorry, it was just one text. I promise to let you know if it gets more interesting. Deal?"
She smiled triumphantly. "Deal. Now hurry up and finish. I need to go see my man."
"Yeah, yeah." I waved her off and continued on eating my ice cream, smiling like a happy little child.
Eventual,ly we were on our way home, Piper belting out the lyrics to every song that came on the radio until we pulled up to the house. She practically jumped out of the car, barely waiting for me. "Stop walking so slow Mason, I need to get in there and tell my mans how fine he look in his uniform."
"Please, no more talk about how attractive you think Nico is and for the love of God, if you two do, anything, don't be loud."
"I won't make you any promises because trust me, when he gets going,"
My hands immediately flung up, covering my ears. "Lalalalalalala! I don't want to hear anything."
"What's wrong with Mason?" Nico asked as soon we stepped into the house. I hesitantly brought my hands down.
"Oh, she's just being immature. I was telling her how when you really got going in, "
And again, up my hands went. "No, no, no, no, no. Lalalalalala! Stop being gross."
"Whose being gross?" Miles asked, stepping off the last step.
I practically ran to him, grabbing his hand in mine. "Nico and Piper are being gross and describing their extracurricular activities. Help."
His eyebrows furrowed in confusion before realization quickly washed over him. "Oh, you poor baby." He grabbed my head, pulling it to his chest while his other hand covered the ear that wasn't currently pressed against him. "How could you?" His focus was now on the embraced couple. "She's just a child. Do you have no decency? Now come on, sweetie. Let's get you away from the bad people."
