"Kai and Oliver followed behind me as Nico and Miles led the way. "Miles, I thought we were friends."

"Uh, I never said we weren't?"

"Well you're practically sacrificing me to Alex right now and I wouldn't say that that was a very friendly thing to do."

"Mason, I saw you as soon as we walked out but chose not to say anything. Alex saw you when you were trying to leave and told us to come get you."

"I didn't take you as a kiss-ass, Miles but apparently I was wrong." Kai snorted, hearing me repeat the same words he had said to me earlier.

Miles, on the other hand, didn't find anything amusing and just gave me a deadpan look and then continued on walking. I sighed but continued to follow him anyway. I didn't understand what the big deal was anyway? I mean, I know Alex didn't like it when I was here because not all of the people here were the greatest but I didn't think it was such a big deal that we were here and I sure as hell didn't think it was necessary that we be escorted back to his locker room, again, just so that he could yell at me. I mean, c' mon.

Just as we spoke up, I decided to give it a last effort to escape dealing with the wrath of Alex. "Gosh Miles, when did you become Alex's bitch?"

Everyone stopped walking. Nico, Kai, and Oliver were attempting to muffle their laughs with their hands while Miles looked at me bewildered. "I can't believe you just said that to me."

"I can't believe you're selling me out to your brother!"

He rolled his eyes. "Mason, I'm not selling you out. All Alex wants to do is talk to you."

"Yeah, and we both know how well Alex does talking when he's angry."

"He's not angry."

"Yeah, and I have a massive dick." He chose to ignore me and placed his hand on the door handle. I had contemplated running ever since we had got caught and now time was running out. It's now or never, Mason. And with that, I was off, sprinting down the empty hallway while Miles yelled after me.

I had barely made it halfway down the hall when a set of arms wrapped around my waist, lifting me up. Okay, so maybe I wasn't 'sprinting' , but I mean, you can only move so fast when you're legs are below average length. I instantly knew who it was as their cologne invaded my nose. I mean, it was worth an effort.

"Where ya goin' baby?" I could hear the smirk in his voice as he spoke.

I shrugged, well I tried. He was still holding me off the ground. "Just getting my daily run in."

He snorted, finally setting me back on my feet. "Daily run? When the hell have you ever gone for a run?"

I scoffed, raising my hand to my chest. "I get my daily exercise if you must know."

"Yeah, walking to and from the kitchen to get food."

"Still exercise," I argued.

He shook his head, smiling. "So, are you going to tell me why you're here in the first place?" He questioned as the boys approached us.

I quickly looked to Kai and Oliver, their eyes were wide; begging me not to tell. I sighed, looking away and back to Alex. "I wanted to come, so I convinced Kai to drive me."

"And you sure that's what happened?"

I looked between Alex and Miles, confused. "Uh, yeah?"

"Kai and Oliver didn't ask you to bring them?"

"Mm, no?" I hadn't meant for it to come out sounding like a question.

"Kai?" Kai shrugged. "Oliver?" Of course, Oliver had the same reaction. I swear, these two poop heads had absolutely no problem with letting me take the fall, I should have just told the truth like I had warned them I would.

"So, the fact you asked me and then Miles when I said no and then Nico when Miles said no, has nothing to do with it?" They both shook their heads, simultaneously. Little shit nuggets.

"So let me make sure I have this right. Mason wanted to come to a fight so she decided to ask Kai if she could have a ride. How does Oliver fit into this whole story?"

"Uh, uh, I asked him to come?" God, they were all right. I was a really horrible liar.

"Okay, so you wanted to come. You asked Kai to drive and asked Oliver to accompany you two." The boys and I nodded. "And why didn't you ask Miles?"

"Mm, because I knew he'd say no? I mean, shit, the little butthole brought me back here to you just because you told him to." I squinted at him, making sure to let him know that I hadn't forgiven him.

"Well, maybe you shouldn't have come."

I grunted and stuck my tongue out. "Maybe you shouldn't be such a kiss-ass, Miles."

"Alright, alright. Enough arguing." Alex interrupted, stepping between the two of us. "So why didn't you ask Nico?"

"Because you yelled at us last time, so it's not like he was going to agree either."

"I'm sure if you blackmailed him like last time, he would have given in." He offered.

"Would he though? I mean, he's already seen my boobs and besides; he's with Piper now."

"Hey, why did Nico get to see her boobs?" Kai spoke up, making me facepalm.

Alex immediately turned around, smacking his face hard enough to snap his head to the side. "Apologize, you little shit."

Holding his face, he glanced at me and looked back to the floor. "I'm sorry, Mason."

"It's okay."

"No, it's not. You don't talk about her like that... You understand me?" Alex snapped. Kai nodded, still not looking away from the floor. "And I know the only reason that you're all here is because you somehow tricked her into bringing you." I opened my mouth to deny it but quickly shut it, knowing I had nothing to say. "So which one of you is going to fess up and tell me what you did to get her to bring you?"

"We blackmailed her." Oliver practically whispered.

"Sorry, what?"

He sighed, looking up. "We blackmailed her into bringing us.

"And how exactly did you do that?"

"By telling her that we were going to tell mom and dad about the two of you."

Alex turned to me now, "And you don't think we could have just denied it?"

"They have proof!" I exclaimed.

Alex's head whipped back to them. "Show me." Kai took his phone out and pulled up the picture before handing it Alex. "And your proof?" he asked looking to Oliver.

"Oh, Kai was just going to send him the same picture if I didn't let him come as well."

Shaking his head, he tapped on Kai's phone a few times before handing it back to him. "Miles is going to drive you two home." They both sighed and nodded, before walking away with Miles.

I shook my head as they retreated down the hallway. "I don't know why they spilled the beans. If they would have just kept their mouths shut, I would've continued fooling you guys with my lies."

Alex laughed. "Trust me Baby girl, your 'lies' were not fooling anyone."

"Says you." I huffed, crossing my arms over my chest.

Shaking his head with a smile, he grabbed the loop of my jeans and pulled me to him. "You're an idiot, you know that?"

"If you're going to be mean, I'm not going to let you kiss me."

Lowering his head, he brushed his nose with mine. "You won't."

Okay, so this asswipe knew exactly what he was doing, getting all close and personal with me. "Mmhmm."

His lips just barely brushed mine causing my breath to catch. "Tell me to stop then." His lips grazed mine with each word he spoke. Okay, let's be real here; I could tell him to stop and follow through on my threats but then again, I could just let him kiss me which seemed like the much better option because I mean, why would I deny myself from kissing him. Especially when he was so damn good at it.

"Uh, sorry to interrupt but I'd rather not watch you two suck faces." Nico cleared his throat, shifting from one foot to another.

"Gosh Nico, first you walk in and look at my boobs and now you have to interrupt us while we're just trying to have a measly kiss."

He looked at me, shocked at my sudden outburst. "I'm sorry. I didn't, you know I,"

I burst out laughing. "I'm just kidding Nico. It's okay, we'll just make out later in my room, with the door locked."

Alex smirked. "You walk to my car with Nico, I'm just going to grab my bag."

"Okie dokie artichokie." I smiled, bounding over to Nico.

Alex shook his head, the smile never leaving his lips. "You're so weird."

I shrugged, not denying his words. "C' mon Nics, I'm hungry."

"What does that have to do with getting to the car?' He asked, confused but still followed me.

"The faster we get to the car, the faster I can make Alex take us to get food. Duh." We were nearly to the car when Nico started patting his pockets hastily. "Dude, chill." I snorted. "Why are you tapping your butt?"

"My phone. I must've forgot it inside, let's go get it."

"Ew, no. I'm not walking all the way back there. You go get it and I'll wait here for you."

"You promise you'll stay at the car?"

"Uh, duh. I thought we already had this discussion about me being hungry and whatnot."

"Okay but seriously Mase, don't move."

I waved him off, leaning against the car. "Yeah, yeah. Now hurry up. I'm not against leaving you here to get food if Alex gets here before you do."

"He won't leave me."

"If I promise to show him my boobs, I'm sure he will."

"You're mean."

I shrugged. "I get hangry. You better hurry up." With that, he ran off towards the building making me laugh. I wouldn't actually leave him. Okay, so depending on how long he was taking, I might but I'd make sure to let him know and that we came back for him. I blew out a huff as I started playing Drag n Merge on my phone.

"You do know that it's not safe for young, pretty girls such as yourself to be standing outside, alone on this side of town alone."

I jumped, not having heard anyone approached. "Holy shit, you scared the fuck out of me." I laughed, slightly embarrassed at how high I had actually jumped. I'm sure it looked more like a twitch if anything if I were going, to be honest here.

"Sorry."

"What are you doing out here anyway?"

Okay, not to toot my own horn or anything but; toot, toot. I'm on a damn roll with these damn chapters this week. 

I do apologize that this chapter is far shorter than I usually have them and probably my shortest one to date, however, I wanted to leave you guys on a cliffhanger, hence the shorter chapter. 

Also, sorry for the cliffhanger. As a reader, I hate them. lol
