"Jinyoung, what are you doing?"
I asked after seeing him make his way into MY bed and go under MY covers. "I will kick you off."
Jinyoung stuck his tongue out at me. "You don't scare me."
I raised my hand to make it look like I was gonna hit him in the head.
"AH!" Jinyoung yelled and hid under the blanket.
I chuckled. "I told you you're scared of me."
"Only when you threaten to hit me!" Jinyoung whined. "Why don't you show affection to me~"
"I doooo~" I whined back and grabbed both sides of Jinyoung's face and pushing his cheeks together.
Jinyoung grinned and laughed. "What are you doing?" He looked at my phone.
"Looking at my old pictures." I said, scrolling through the camera roll.
He leaned his head on my shoulder, watching my screen. "You have so many selfies." Jinyoung snickered.
I puffed my cheeks out. "This is what every teenagers camera rolls looked like."
"You're even prettier now."
I felt heat crawl up my cheeks. "Thanks."
"You're blushing~" He teased.
I slapped my cheeks. "What else am I supposed to do when you say those things??"
"So cute."
My cheeks heated up even more. "Stoppp."
"Cutie."
"Are you an angel?"
"You are the most beautiful person I've ever seen."
"You must be an angel."
By the time he was done messing with me, my entire body was probably blushing.
"That's enoughhhh." I ordered.
"You're so--"
I covered his mouth. "No more Jinyoung. I think my face is going to explode."
Jinyoung laughed while looking straight into my eyes and heart.
I quickly hid under the covers. "Jung Naeun is currently not available. Please come back when she has calmed down." I said in a robot voice.
"You can't hide from me." Jinyoung said and went under the covers too.
I went back up.
So did he.
I went back down.
He followed me.
We played this game of cat and mouse for five minutes until I let out an annoyed groan. "Why are we like this--"
Jinyoung burst out laughing. "I don't know either."
I yawned and slumped down. I took a glance at my phone when I saw it light up with a notification.
Jinyoung glanced at it too.
I picked my phone up. "What's this?"
"Hi Naeun-sshi! This is Hwang Jiyong from your high school, it's been a long time hasn't it? If you're wondering why, someone I know gave me your number." Jinyoung read the text out loud in a robot voice.
"I thought you didn't have friends, Naeun." He said and squinted at the screen.
"Hmm..." I thought. "I had friends, they were ones that I talked to when I could but then they'd all hang out together and leave me and then I would pretend like I didn't care."
"Is it this guy?" Jinyoung asked.
"He's one of them." I said. "I used to like him."
Jinyoung furrowed his eyebrows. "You used to like him?" He asked, rather bitterly.
I chuckled. "Jinyoung, I can feel how jealous you are right now."
"I can't help it!" He whined. "You liked someone else before me? I'm better right?"
I sighed. "Jinyoung, you don't even need to worry about him. You're the best."
He smiled. "But I'm still jealous. How are you going to reply?? He texts like an old man."
I typed in my phone.
"Hello Jiyong-sshi. It has been a long time, thank you for contacting me." Jinyoung read and stifled a laugh. "You sound like you're doing a business deal or something."
"You get what you give." I said.
"I like it." Jinyoung said. "Oh--he replied he replied!!"
I chuckled at how serious Jinyoung was taking this. "Yes, how have you been?" I read out loud.
"Say good. Just good and then end it there." Jinyoung said and snickered.
"I would, but then again I would rather not make a new enemy today." I said.
Jinyoung stuck out his bottom lip and read the message I was typing. "I'm doing good. How about you?"
"I am good as well. I have a request--should we go for coffee sometime? Too catch up a bit?" I read Jiyong's reply.
"Say you're busy." Jinyoung said.
"Jinyounggg." I looked at him. "He's just a high school friend, there's no problem in meeting up for a little."
"What if you start liking him again??" Jinyoung whined. "Why do you want to?"
"Jinyoung." I grabbed his face to face me. "I only like you. Why would I ditch you for a guy I liked years ago and that texts like an old man?"
The corners of his lips lifted up, but then went down again. "Fine." He said stubbornly. "You can go."
"Okay." I said and typed a reply that I was willing to meet up.
"But, first of all, it's going to be in the cafe downstairs." He said, taking a piece of my hair and playing with it. "And second, I will be watching you two."
"That's fine by me, as long as you don't do anything weird." I said.
"I will make your coffee while staring at you two like a hawk. If he dares flirts with you I will pour boiling water on him." Jinyoung said.
"Okay, over protective boyfriend." I muttered.
"One, I'm not being over protective." Jinyoung said stubbornly. "And two, if you call me your boyfriend it's fine by me." He smirked.
"I DIDN'T MEAN IT LIKE THAT!"
