Dinner ended very nicely, with Jinyoung's grandma being extremely kind (even though she kept on insisting that I eat more until I would explode). I finished, and decided that doing the dishes was the least I could do.

"Naeun-ah, you shouldn't be doing the dishes! JINYOUNG HOW COULD YOU LEAVE THE YOUNG LADY TO DO THE DISHES??" She yelled.

"Wait a second grandma!!" Jinyoung yelled from the other room.

"THREE, TWO--" His grandma tapped her foot on the ground as she counted like she was talking to a little kid.

"Okay, okay!" Jinyoung came running--COMPLETELY SHIRTLESS. "I was in the middle of taking a shower, and you couldn't wait two more minutes grandma?!"

"Do the dishes, son." She said, ushering him to the sink.

I quickly got out of the way, trying to not look at him. I could feel my ears and cheeks burning, so I hid my face by putting on my hood. "W-well, it's the least I could do..."

"You're sick, Naeun!" Jinyoung said. "No need to feel burdened."

"You're the guest, don't worry about it." She said. "Take the medicine I've put on the table, and take a shower."

I nodded quickly and did what she asked. After I took a shower, I walked into the living room to see Jinyoung and his grandma there.

I felt extremely awkward since I was in a random home, taking showers and stuff like it was my own.

"Do you not have sleeping clothes?" Granny Woo asked.

I shook my head. "I don't need any, it's quite alright--"

"Jinyoung, lend her some clothes."

"Will do." Jinyoung said gesturing me to follow him.

I followed him to his room. "Your grandma is really...nice."

"She's nice but she's really controlling so if she bosses you around that's just her way of caring I guess." Jinyoung chuckled, handing me a pair of sweatpants and a shirt. "We have an extra room, you can stay there."

He put his hand on my back and led me to the room next to his. There was a bed and a vanity sitting inside.

"Be comfortable. If you need anything, I'm next door." Jinyoung said.

"Thanks Jinyoung. I'm serious, I don't think you know how much you've helped me." I said smiling.

"Because you deserve it." Jinyoung said and smiled, before exiting.

Because I deserve it?

I didn't feel all that tired, and it seemed like the medicine was working, I didn't feel as sick as before. Or it could be that the house was super warm and cozy.

I decided to sit at the vanity and write lyrics, since there wasn't much I could do.

There was a knock at my door.

"Naeun? Can I come in?" I heard Jinyoung's voice on the other side.

"Yeah, come in." I said.

Jinyoung opened the door and walked in. "What are you up to?"

"I was writing some lyrics..." I said, watching him as he sat down next to me.

"Do you sing or rap too?" He asked looking at my notebook.

I nodded.

"You do?!"

I chuckled and nodded again.

"Can you sing for me?" He asked.

My cheeks heated up for an odd reason. "I don't think I'm that good..."

"Pleeaaasseeeee~" Jinyoung said.

"This is embarrassing..." I cleared my throat. "Okay."

I sang the song I made a few days back, nervously glancing at Jinyoung's (mesmerized) expression.

When I finished Jinyoung's jaw dropped to the floor.

I laughed at his face. "Am I that bad?"

"Are you crazy? You're singing is amazing! You should be a trainee! No, you could easily be an idol already, I'm serious--" Jinyoung gushed.

My cheeks heated up more. "Thanks..."

"You know--" He grinned. "After hearing you sing, you suddenly look ten times prettier than before."

Is he flirting?

I looked away and tried to not smile. "Haha..."

"Are you shy because I complimented you?"

I couldn't hold back my smile and put my head down to cover it. "Yeah..."

"You're cute."

My cheeks burned again at his comment. "Can you stop..."

"Stop what? Making you shy?"

I nodded.

"I only say the truth."

"I don't hear those things often." I said. "Compliments."

"You should!"

"I hear the opposite." I said and lightly chuckled.

"That's why, you've got to make it big and prove them wrong." Jinyoung said.

"Thanks Jinyoung."

"You don't have to thank me. We're friends now, right?"

"Yeah." How long has it been since I had a friend?

"I think you should live here." Jinyoung said.

"I already told you--"

"Not only for you, but me too." Jinyoung said. "It gets lonely here sometimes even with grandma."

I pursed my lips together. "What could I do if I stayed? As in, to help out and stuff..."

"You can do a lot! If you stay, you can have a roof over your head and grandma can have someone else to boss around." He snickered.

"You want me to stay so I can do your chores?" I deadpanned.

"Haha..." Jinyoung waved the comment away. "No, but it's mainly because it would be nice to have someone else around. Grandma likes you too."

"Does she?" I asked.

Jinyoung nodded. "GRANDMA, YOU LIKE NAEUN RIGHT?" He yelled, even if the door was closed.

"I DO!" His grandma's voice replied from outside.

I laughed at how easy to tell that they were related.

"IF YOU COULD CHOOSE WHO I WOULD MARRY, IT WOULD BE HER RIGHT?" Jinyoung yelled again.

I groaned and slumped in my seat as heat crawled up my face again. "Stop saying those things..."

"IT WOULD!!" Mrs. Woo yelled.

Jinyoung smiled brightly. "See?"

I narrowed my eyes at how casual he was. "Uh huh."

"So, you're staying?"

I shrugged. "I'll think about it overnight."

"Yes!" Jinyoung clapped his hands together.

I laughed. "You want me to stay that badly huh..."

He nodded. "You must be tired, so I'll let you sleep now."

"Goodnight Jinyoung." I said.

Jinyoung put a hand on my head and muttered 'goodnight, sleep well' before exiting.

The door shut and I rolled onto the bed, my thoughts completely filled with that smiling angel.

Not angel, more like devil. How could he only do the smallest of actions and somehow still make my brain turn into scrambled eggs?

Is Woo Jinyoung even human?

I shook my head and slapped my cheeks. How could I fall for that dude?
I shouldn't. I'm not.

I smiled as I closed my eyes. It's been a long time since I've laid in a bed, it felt like I was laying on a cloud.

I fell asleep almost immediately, letting me fall deep into my dreams.
