"You look too nice!" Jinyoung whined for the 50th time.

"Jinyoungggg, I'm literally wearing a plain T-Shirt and black leggings, and you're saying I look too nice?!"

"This was a bad idea. I'm not sure if I can handle watching you two without wanting to pour coffee on his head." Jinyoung growled.

"Calm down Jinyoung, it's not like I like him anymore."

"Mental breakdown mental breakdown--"

"You are sooo protective Jinyoung." I said, even though part of me liked it.

"I just don't want any weird business going on." Jinyoung strictly and chuckled, putting his arms around me. "I get jealous easily."

"That's because you are obsessed with me." I said jokingly.

"You're right." Jinyoung muttered in my ear.

My face exploded in redness. "Not in that way."

"Then what way do you mean? There's only one."

"Okay, enough of that." I shook my head. "You dirty little--" I flicked him on the forehead.

Jinyoung raised his arms in the air in defense. "I didn't say it was dirty~ you're the one whose making that up in your mind Naeunie~"

My jaw dropped. "I am not!"

"I only think pure thoughts~" He sang.

"Uh huh. Because the other day you totally didn't say--"

Jinyoung put his finger to my mouth. "I only say pure things."

I snickered. "Liar."

Jinyoung gasped. "Is that him? That guy looks like a Jiyong, is it him is it him--"

"No, that is not him." I said plainly. "wAIT BUT THE GUY BEHIND HIM IS--"

Jinyoung got silent, staring daggers into my old classmate that had just entered through the cafe door. "Look at those yeezy's. I don't like him already."

I chuckled. "Watch well Jinyoung. I can socially interact with human beings too."

"Other than me and Grandma?" Jinyoung asked, looking shocked.

I rolled my eyes. "Yes."

"Before you go," Jinyoung glanced at Jiyong and put his arm around my waist to pull me closer.

"Wha--"

I was cut off when Jinyoung carefully put his lips on mine.

This was our first intentional kiss.

My heart was speeding up to a million miles per hour, and I could've sworn that I couldn't think of anything else except for

WOO. JIN. YOUNG.

His lips were so soft, and the way he kissed me was literally making me melt into a puddle.

When he pulled back, I missed it, but of course I would never admit that.

You already know my face was bright red like a tomato. "J-JINYOUNG!"

"Shhh now go, your FRIEND is waiting for you." Jinyoung said, emphasizing friend.

I couldn't say anything as the words were completely blown out of me, so I just turned around I walked to Hwang Jiyong, who was looking at us.

I saw Jinyoung DEADASS smirk at the poor dude, and then turned away. Oh my GOD what is wRonG with hIM--

I unnoticeably shook my head and lightly chuckled. "Jiyong! It's me." I called out to him.

Jiyong's jaw dropped. "I thought I recognized you, but I was like, 'that can't be her!'"

I laughed. "Should we sit down? It's been a very long time." I looked at Jiyong. I thought he didn't change all that much from the past years I had seen him.

We sat down in front of each other.

"It has been a very long time hasn't it?" Jiyong asked, flashing a smile that was the same as I remembered. "You changed...a lot."

I laughed. "I hope it's a good change."

He nodded. "Definitely."

Pray Jinyoung didn't hear that. I thought to myself. "Thanks. You haven't changed that much, still the same as I remember."

Jiyong nodded. "I like to think so too."

I chuckled. "How have you been doing?"

"Good. I'm studying in a college in the U.S."

My eyes widened. "In the U.S.? Then why are you here?"

"Just visiting family. How have you been?" He asked.

"Okay, I suppose. I didn't go to college." I said and chuckled. "Working small jobs to keep up with life." He doesn't need to know I became homeless for three months.

"You know, back in high school, I used to like you." Jiyong laughed and flashed a grin.

"Haha..." I laughed.

Since when? Last time I checked, you basically ignored me all high school. "That's quite surprising."

"Is that your boyfriend?" Jiyong asked, referring to Jinyoung.

I glanced at him and saw his eyes squint at us. "Ah well..."

Jinyoung gave a smile and suddenly walked toward our table. "How may I take your order sir, miss?"

I stifled a laugh. "Jinyoung, don't we just order up front--"

"No no, I'm treating the guest with extra care today. Nice to meet you Jiyong-sshi." Jinyoung nodded at Jiyong. "What would you like?"

Jiyong, who looked slightly uncomfortable, gave out his order. When he was done, Jinyoung turned his head to me.

"Anything for you, babe?" He asked.

bABE?! Heat rose to my cheeks and I covered my embarrassment with a small cough. "I-I'll just have black coffee Jinyoung, thanks."

"Anything for you." Jinyoung said, giving one last glance at Jiyong and turning on his heels and walking away.

My cheeks flushed with embarrassment. "What is wrong with him..." I muttered to myself.

Jiyong laughed. "Looks like you two are quite the match."

"Are we though?" I asked and chuckled.

He nodded. "I'm glad you are opening up to others now, I hope you are a happier person."

I smiled and nodded. "Yeah."
