"Uncle chim, don't you think the heart of every bad person should be black in colour?"Taehyung questioned, interrupting Jimin from his deep thoughts.
They were seated in their personal abode, having some quality time for themselves while Jimin tried his best to entertain the young boy whose questions never alleviated.
"Tae, every heart is pure. It's the society that drenches it in black. Moreover, none of the persons are bad in this world. Everyone have their own reasons to lie; to hate and to love someone. If you consider the bad people and include them in your list, then aren't we all caught in this crime?"Jimin ran his hands through his hair, clicking his tongue while pouring out his thoughts to the inquisitive boy.
"How are we caught in a crime? I thought we were good people," Taehyung pouted, whimpering sadly.
Jimin lifted up Taehyung's chin and locked eyes with him, "Taetae, our minds are always in a prison, just like our heart. No person is perfect. Under unavoidable circumstances, one is obliged to make deliberate mistakes,"
"Am I a criminal then?" The young boy's voice was glum.
"Of course, my boy. Wasn't your mind prisoned? I'll tell you something. Every criminal is not always a bad person. Sometimes, they can be good and sweet too. Just like you. Sometimes, you have to just look beyond someone's smiles to know the tears behind their eyes," Jimin explained patiently, making sure he understood everything.
"So you mean behind every smile, there's a tear drop? But I see only saliva..." Taehyung trailed off in confusion.
Jimin chuckled,"Taehyung, I meant the emotions which are buried deep within us. As a child, you won't understand these. You'll have to grow up and slowly, the seeds of knowledge will spurt within you."
"But I want to learn everything from you," Taehyung retaliated, grabbing a hold of Jimin's hanbok.
"Hmm... Ok. But let me tell you something. Everyday, whenever you learn something, you have to apply it to real life. Ok, Promise? Only then will I teach you," Jimin brought our his pinky for a promise.
"Alright, uncle chim. Thank you!" Taehyung exclaimed, moulding his tiny finger around Jimin's tiny one.
"So, what do you want to learn today?" Jimin hesitantly removed Taehyung's hand from his hanbok.
"I think I've learnt enough for today, uncle chim. I want to play now. I'll call byeol and come. Please wait for me," Taehyung dashed off towards byeol's room where Jungkook was having some time with her.
"Don't run and be careful while going there!" Jimin's frantic voice followed.
After a span of five minutes, Taehyung returned with Byeol, who rushed in, holding hands together. They looked as if they were destined forever and that fate brought them together right when they were about to crumble into pieces. Taehyung's boxy smile never faltered from his face, as it moulded with his emotions and emanating a feeling of bliss. Byeol was equally happy; something which was devoid in her life before adoption.
Jungkook followed right after, panting heavily. Instead of the usual bunny smile that welcomed everyone, his face was drenched with perspiration and the hanbok stuck to his body, accentuating the muscles.
He sent Jimin a tiny smile and gestured them to continue. The entire room was devoured by smiles and overflowing affection.
It was as if they were pieces of puzzles waiting to be moulded together into one. But like every enigmatic maze, even they would cause destruction.
"Daddy chim!"Byeol ran forward and engulfed Jimin in a huge hug to which he responded actively by reciprocating the same.
Taehyung looked at the affection shared between the family, and closed his eyes for a minute, muttering something under his breath in a desperate voice.
Though his eyes held the crease of his huge smiles, there was still a flicker of hope that was soon morphed into yearning and finally pure desperation.
"God, I've been a good boy right from when I was born. Please make uncle chim my dad and I'll give you whatever you want. I don't want any other wishes in the world. Please just make uncle chim my dad. I love him more than anyone."he whispered, making sure no one heard it.

The stars shimmered under the moonlight, the poison of resentment dripping from the darkest hues that swept over the pastel grey sky.
Jungkook and Jimin were seated under the darkness, with the aurora lighting up their faces and verbalizing the unbloomed flower in their heart that was secluded with unheard mysteries and unknown answers.
"Can you see that star, kook?"Jimin pointed at the sky which twinkled with four prominent stars.
"Hmm... what about it?"Jungkook furrowed his brows. Unlike Jimin, Jungkook was not invested into seeing the world from a different perspective and making the untold emotions coherent.
"Every star is an eye for the adventure that lies ahead. It is the representation of our trust that lingers; of our love that never falters,"Jimin said, looking at the sky.
"You mean the constellation that gets formed?"Jungkook tried to relate everything.
"Not exactly, kook. But yeah, every star is itself a constellation. It is its own light; its own enigma and its own flower,"Jimin's voice was soft.
"I swear to god you can become a philosopher," Jungkook chuckled, oblivious to Jimin's serious face.
"I was being serious, kookie,"Jimin sighed deeply.
"And I am serious, chimmie. I just don't understand these things very well nor am I interested,"Jungkook truthfully said, rubbing the back of his neck while adjusting his hanbok.
"One day, you have to learn to look at the world from a different perspective..."Jimin trailed off, locking eyes with Jungkook.
"What will it do to me? I don't get anything from that,"Jungkook knitted his eyebrows together.
"You can learn many things from it, kookie. You can see the pain of everyone and try to heal them," Jimin tried to make Jungkook understand.
"Then why didn't you heal me yet, chim? Aren't I broken?" Jungkook's voice was low with guilt.
"I don't understand, kookie,"Jimin's voice was laced with confusion.
"You don't know many things about me, chim. And it's not necessary for you to know that since its all in the past," Jungkook said, his head hanging down.
"But its the past that has broken you, isn't it? And its the same past that will kill your heart soon. So tell me, kookie. Tell me everything. I'm here to lend my ears for you and hold your hands when you're broken," Jimin's voice was reassuring.
"No, Jimin, you won't like it. I have an artificial mask on my face and it would be better if it would stay the same,"The nickname was gone and Jungkook's usual light tone had dissipated.
"Don't keep it bundled up inside you, kook. Some things are meant to be shared. Don't be hesitant in sharing them with me," Jimin patted Jungkook's back slightly.
"But what if you hate me after it?"Jungkook nibbled his fingers.
"Whether I like it or not, you'll always be my first love and my husband. Even the sharpest swords can't tear us apart. So tell me, kookie, I'm all ears for you and I am ready to heal the scars in your heart," Jimin said, making Jungkook speak out with great hesitation.
"I killed my parents and changed my surname to Jeon. Before then, it was Kim."
