Lila's POV

"Have you been doing what I have asked of you Ms.Rossi." As I was busy checking my nails I look at the person on the screen.

"Yes I have." I smiled at him innocently.

"Good we expect you to do more in the future as long as you keep an eye on him there will be no problems however, one little mistake and our deal is off." He said still in his cold demeanor presence.

"Yes." I responded trying my best to hide my sinister smile.

"Good now I have more important business to do now farewell." With that he ended the call. I let out a hiss of anger but as long as this all plays out I should be fine.

"Just because he is a famous fashion designer and that he is the father of Adrien doesn't mean he has power over me." I said as I look for ways to get the attention of these peasants. Ever since we all arrived to China they have been hanging around Marinette more yet here I am left behind.

"Whatever Marinette is doing I'm gonna do whatever it takes for me to get rid of her." As I got my brain to work in trying to get back on the spotlight and just before anything I see Marinette.

'Perfect'. I thought as I started to follow her. I have noticed that she has been disappearing a lot since we also got here so I might as well find out her secrets and use them to my advantage.

Adrien's POV

I noticed Lila was following Marinette so I followed her. Lila is known for lies but she is also known to harm others even after I told her numerous times to quit hurting Marinette. Just before she even got to Marinette I stopped her.

"What are you doing Lila?" I raised an eyebrow while crossing my arms. Lila jumped a bit looking back at me.

"Oh um Adrien I wasn't doing anything?"

"Then why are you following Marinette?"

"Because she stole my earrings and those earrings are from someone special to me and I'm afraid that she will do something with them." Lila of course lies again. She had something in mind she wouldn't tell me but I won't let her.

"Ok then I'll ask her because it's obvious that she would stay away from you and I'm her friend so I'll go ask." I fake smiled at her and ran after Marinette.

I know that I busted her plan and I guess my mission is to protect Marinette from her. Marinette is someone important to me and I don't want to lose her.

I thought I heard Lila cursing behind me after I left her but that didn't matter to me now.

As I reached over to Marinette I almost stumbled over a black kitten. I stopped and stared at the little guy.

"Are you lost?" I asked him while petting his head. Before anything I looked up and saw Marinette.

"Oh Adrien where did you-"

"I just happen to find this kitten and was wondering where this little guy was going." I answered quickly mentally cursing myself for being rude a moment there.

"So you found Lucky."

"Lucky?"

"Yeah Lucky has his ways of wondering around these places." Marinette explained as I hand Lucky over to her.

"So what are you doing around this area I thought Mrs.Bustier took the class to the museum or something to learn about China's history." Marinette questioned.

"She was but then I saw Lila following you so I followed and asked her and she said you stole something from her but I wasn't buying her lies." I explained to her.

"Ugh no doubt I bet Lila has another trick up her sleeves better yet a lie because that's her way of getting what she wants." Marinette groaned.

Lila's POV

'Ugh so close!' I mentally screamed.

'Just when I thought I had everything under control.' I thought to myself.

Knowing Adrien he is friends with Marinette and all that she is special to him because of their friendship is nothing but a waste. He may have ruined my plan but I have others waiting and when the time does come I'll make sure that nothing stands in my way.

"Soon I'll be the next in line to take everything you own." I said to myself.

No one's POV

As Lila made her way back to Mrs.Bustier's class before anyone noticed she was gone she failed to notice that someone found out her true intentions with Marinette and bringing her down.

"Marinette said was true about this girl." Wayzz said feeling anxious about Lila.

"True and I feel as if she knows something about the miraculous." Master Fu said.

"How come Master?" Wayzz questioned looking at him with wide eyes.

"Marinette said she stole the book from her friend and she falsely claimed to be a miraculous holder because of a personal reason and as far as we know Hawkmoth knew about this he is surely going to use her." Master Fu went on with his explanation.

"From what Marinette has told me she did witness her taking an akuma just to get what she wants so it's easy to tell that she knows who Hawkmoth is but I can't guarantee that this one of the possible solutions to get to Hawkmoth without discussing with Marinette."

Master Fu and Wayzz shared a look with each other knowing what to do afterwards as they leave making sure no one notices them.

Sorry if I was absent for so long.

Last month I got really sick to the point I couldn't taste any food or talk which was a bust for me.

I was working on a video for an art competition for my school for the last time. (I won so yay!)

Graduated from highschool and getting everything I needed before I left school for good.

It feels like yesterday I went to highschool and I remember this book was one of the memories I keep with me whenever I felt down.
