Chapter Ten

Hello! I am so sorry I havent updated in soooo long! I've been really busy, and working things out. I'm trying to get back to updating regularly, so bear with me. Anyways, how are you guys doing? I'd be updating more if I were in quarantine, but no, I still go to school.

Percy didn't know what she had been thinking when she jumped onto Superboy. It just happened so quickly. Everything happened so quickly. Percy threw a punch and a kick at him before he threw her off of him. Gods, he was strong.

She hit the floor with a thud, and a groan escaped her mouth.

"Anahita, what was that for?" Nightwing called from where the others stood. She stilll wasn't all to used to her superhero alias, so it took her a second to realize he was talking to her.

"I- I don't know," she said, and sat up. "I'm sorry."

After that the day went on, and the team including Anahatia went on their mission. They took Miss Martians bio-ship which Percy didn't like, but she knew she just had to suck it up. On the entire trip she sat in her seat, her hands gripping the seat.

Once they finally had arrived she was so relived. She got off the ship first, so thankful to finally be on the earths solid ground again. She wasn't the type to kiss the ground, and she never would be, but she had to say this was the closest she ever got to it. She almost did it, but it just felt wrong. While she enjoyed being on the ground, the ground was also Gaea.

The others got off the ship, no one noticing her need to get off the ship quickly. Or if they did, they didn't say anything.

"Now," Nightwing started. "We're looking for a group of women in silver wear with bows and arrows."

Percy was reminded why she was here. She knew just who they were looking for - the Hunters of Artemis and she was genuinely curious of how the team would do against them.

Wasn't the girl with the bow named Artemis?

Percy wondered how it all would go down. But she couldn't properly focus on anything as she felt Superboys glare burn into her back.

She whipped around and glared right back at him. "What're you glaring at?"

He looked away, a scowl on his face. "I thought so."

She heard Nightwing sigh and resisted the urge to ask him what the problem was. She knew exactly what the problem was. She was the problem. She has always been the problem. She'd always be the problem. She'd accepted that a long time ago. But it was hard. She didn't want to be the problem! Sure, it was fun at times. She loved annoying her friends, but she didn't want to be a problem. She didn't want to be the one who messed things up!

They continued on, until they saw a camp. Not a camp like Camp Halfblood but a bunch of tents. And there, in the camp was just who they were looking for.

A bunch of young women in silver gear with bows and arrows. The Hunters of Artemis.

At first the hunters didn't seem to notice them, which greatly surprised Percy. Why hadn't they noticed them yet?

If they really were the enemy, then the Hunters could be in trouble. The Hunters really has to up their game.

Nightwing started walking towards the camp but Percy quickly stopped him.

"Wait," she whispered. "I'll go in first, you guys just wait here."

And before he could say anything about it she was there. Just then did the Hunters notice her, but they didn't pull out any weapons. They were all familiar with her.

"Hey, is Thalia here?" Percy asked quietly, making sure that her team behind her didn't hear.

"Yeah, just follow us," one of the hunter said, Emily is Percy remembered correctly.

Percy nodded and followed Emily into a green tent.

"Thalia, Percy's here," Emily said and left the tent.

Thalia turned around. "What are you doing here, Kelp Head?"

"It's a long story," Percy said. "Like a long story. A very complicated story."

"Just, I don't know, summarize it," Thalia shrugged, glaring at her older cousin.

"Okay, so I might have become a superhero-"

"What!?" Thalia exclaimed. "A superhero? Kelp head? Seriously?"

"Yes," Percy said. "I'm trying to explain. So I'm helping this super hero group, and well, they're kinda here, and uh- um- they think you guys are some type of threat."

"Oh, gods, Percy!" Thalia groaned. "Why do you always get yourself into stuff like this?"

"I don't know, Thalia!" Percy exclaimed.

Just as Thalia was about to respond Emily walked into the tent again.

"Thalia, we have some intruders," Emily said and Percy smiled sheepishly.

"Alright, I'm coming," Thalia said.

"Where's Artemis?" Percy asked, suddenly.

"She'd been missing for a while now," Thalia responded. "I'm in charge for now."

Percy nodded and headed out of the tent with Thalia to resolve this problem.

"Anahita, what are you—" Nightwing started.

"Who—" Thalia asked.

"My superhero name," Percy whispered to Thalia.

"Well, Nightwing, these people aren't bad. We should probably leave," Percy responded.

"How do you know that?" Superboy asked.

"Well, I know them very well, and Thalia here is my cousin," Percy responded.

"Well then, Thalia, can you explain who this group is? What you do? Can you prove you aren't a threat?" Nightwing asked.

Thalia laughed. "Oh, we're a threat. Just not to you, as long as you don't get on our bad side."
