Today's the day. Saturday. The day I go out with Jane West, the prettiest girl in school. I can tell she has a thing for me, but that's not gonna be reveled until today.

I was originally gonna just wear whatever I wanted to, but apparently that's not the right way to aproach the first date. So my uncle said he'll take me shopping. My date isn't until 8, but I have to make sure everything works out.

I get a text from Jordan. "Hey, I know you're on a break, but I was hoping maybe we can have combat practice." He texted. "Sorry bro, I've got a date with Jane tonight. And I'm going shopping today. Maybe tomorrow?"

"Ok. Sure. But you better come tomorrow." He texted back. "I will. Ttyl." I text him. He text me goodbye and I prepare to up shopping with Uncle Rick. I've got a feeling that today's gonna be alright.

Meanwhile, In the southside of Franklin City...

"It's here." One of my Savages says. "Great. Put it over there." I point at a direction for him and he follows my command. "Did you watch the news lately? Marvelous Man hasn't been stopping crimes lately." He says.

"Well, looks like Franklin City is back to normal. Hand me a shot of that serum, would you?" He passes me a shot of the serum and I stab my arm with it. The power starts to kick in. "Pleasure doing business with you Josh."

Josh nods and leaves the room. I start to practice my fighting. I know Marvelous Man is gonna come and be this almighty hero he thinks he is. "Don't worry, I'm ready for you Marvelous Man.

Back to the Northside...

I get in the car with my uncle, and we drive to the mall. For about 30 minutes, we look at bad clothes, until I see it. A regular, dress shirt with pants and a nice jacket. "It's perfect." I said.

I buy the outfit and once we get home, it's almost 8. "Look at you, going on dates." Uncle Rick says. "That's why you've been sneaking out of the house, missing curfew, it's 'cause of her." He says.

I know that's not really why I've been sneaking out, but if it makes him happy, don't spoil it. "Yeah. She's really nice. But, when I she does come here, you cannot embarrass me. Okay?"

"Cross my heart, and hope to die." He says. I go upstairs and get to the bathroom. I take a good shower for about 15 minutes, I brush my teeth and use mouthwash, get dressed in my clothes, and comb my 2 inches of hair.

I put on my cologne, put my shoes on, and take my breath mint. I'm ready. "Ok. She'll be here any minute now." I say that as she rings the doorbell. "Ooh! Thats her." I open the door and see that she's dressed just like me, casual and nice.

"Hi. Do you wanna come in?" I asked. "I'd be delighted to." She gets in and Uncle Rick tells us to smile. Click! The camera takes a photo of us. "Aww. That's a keeper." He says. I give him the please stop it look. And he says goodbye to us.

"Your uncle seems pretty cool." Jane said. "Yeah. Sometimes." We head out of the house and walk to the movie theater. "So, what are we gonna see?" She asked. "Oh. It's a good movie called Shadow Of The Night."

We go into the movie theater and see a poster of a bunch of teens looking scared out of their minds. What Jane didn't know was why take her to watch a spooky movie? Simple, she's gonna be scared and wanna jump on my arms, and it'll be perfect for her to see what kinda guy I am.

"Ok. So do you want anything like popcorn or soda? 'Cause I'm paying." I said. "Ok. I'll love some popcorn." She said. We get popcorn, soda, and some candy. Which, caused me about 70 bucks. I know Uncle Rick is gonna be mad, but it's worth it.

We get into the movie and see the theater is filled with people. "Wow. Looks like some people really like this movie." She said. "Yeah. I heard it's pretty interesting." I tell her. We take a seat and wait until the movie plays. Until I hear a man screaming which makes me not able to hear the movie.

"Hey dude, can you be quiet?" I said to him. "Whatever dude!" The guy says. Through the entire movie, I did nothing but stare at Jane. She's so pretty. I slowly move my hand towards hers. She catches sign and our hands lock.

She smiles at me and puts her head on my shoulder. This was one of the best first dates a guy can ask for. Once the movie ends, me and jane are now walking with our hands held together.

"That was a good movie." She said. "Yeah, totally didn't expect that ending." I told her. "Yeah. Talk about plot twist." She said. We both talk all night. Talking to her is completely worth my time.

"Tell me something about you." She asked me. "Well, what do you wanna know?" She looks in my eyes. "What's your favorite music?" She says. "Any. I like rap, RnB, pop. They're all good to me." I tell her. "Ok. What's your biggest fear?" I think for a moment.

I guess I don't have a fear. I mean, I'm afraid that the Southside Savages might take away my uncle. Maybe Jordan was right. I was being real dumb. For now on, I'm off my break. But when I become Jane's boyfriend (which will happen) I can't tell her I'm Marvelous Man.

"Well, I'm kinda scared of death. Besides that, I'm not really scared of anything." She starts to look into my eyes. "Well, what do you like about me?" She says grinning a little.

"I like how you aren't so easy to figure out. You're unique, and I like that." She starts to blush. "Oh. Here we are. My house." She says. "I... I had a great time." She said. "So did I. I was actually wondering." I paused. She leans in and kisses me on my lips. She puts her arms on my neck and I kiss her back.

We share a warm kiss for 10 seconds. "So how 'bout a second one?" I asked. She giggles and nods her head. I wave goodbye to her as she gets into her house. Yessssss! I thought. Things are finally starting to get good.

I head to go to my house, until I see 4 guys trying to rob this women. They all have leather jackets with the letter S on them. "Southside." I whisper to myself. I run where no one can see me and change into my suit. I fly above the alleyway and land where the guys are.

"Hey! I suggest you leave her alone." They look at me and they all walk slowly to me. "Oh wow. Look who it is boys. It's Marvelous Man." The say mockingly. "Yeah. And unless you wanna get beat, I suggest you start running." I tell them.

"You may be a superhuman, but that doesn't mean I can't kick your ass." One savage says. He walks up to me with a knife. I laugh hysterically. "You know that I can break metal easily right?"

He strikes at me with the knife. I catch his hand and put him in a basic armbar. "Now why would you do that?" I asked. Another savage runs up to me. But I throw the savage I had on an armbar towards the other savage. They collide and I laugh at them.

The 3rd savage walks up to me with his guard up. "Come on. Come on now." I tell him. He swings at me with a right hook that I easily dodge. Then a left. Then he swings another right. "Come on, you've gotta do better than that." I tell him. He tells me to shut up and swings a right hook. I catch it and ouch him hard in his stomach.

I then use my super strength and kick him to the wall. The fourth savage runs up to me and does a flying kick. I catch his foot and spin him around clockwise. "Marvelous Throw!" I chanted. I throw him and he hits a car and goes unconscious.

"Boy have I missed this." I said to myself. "Ha! You thought I was finished." The first savage says. He then takes out a syringe with blue liquid in it and stabs his arm. "What the hell?" I said. "What? You thought I was gonna let you beat me?" He says. Now the savage looks buff and has more muscle. Uh oh. This isn't good. I thought.
