Bucky couldn't stop trembling and whimpering. He awoke you with his whimpers and movements. You rubbed the tiredness from your eyes, trying to wake yourself more up. He didn't stop, he was getting louder.

I had such a scary and bad nightmare
You left me forever

"Bucky! Wake up!" You shook him harshly. Your heart was starting to beat faster. "C'mon."

"Please Bucky, wake the hell up!" you almost screamed. Bucky gasped and sat up quickly. His breathing was becoming irregular, hands fisting the sheets tightly. You sighed in relief, looking concerned at him.

"Honey, are you okay?" you rubbed your hand on his back, trying to sooth him. Bucky shook his head quickly, tears starting to form in his eyes. He was starting to look confused and shook his head again.

Even you can tell it's a dream that doesn't make sense
Because there's no way I would lose you

Bucky turned to you and before you can react, he hugged you almost making both of you fall. You gasped at his sudden action.

"What happened? Did you have a nightmare?" you asked in a low voice. It feels like he lost his voice and just responding with nods. You shushed and rubbed his back.

"It's okay, I'm right here. I won't go anywhere." You reassured him.

Don't even get away from me for a second

"You love me, right?" Bucky's voice cracked a little. You didn't hesitate to answer him.

"Of course I do James. Why would you ask such thing?" You scoffed in a confused manner. He shrugged and snuggled closer to you.

"I had a nightmare that you left me. I was alone, looking for you but I couldn't find you. I was scared." He started.

I wouldn't want to see me without you even in a dream

"I won't go, not in a million years." you soothingly said.

If only you are next to me, I don't care if it's a nightmare.
