A young blond man woke up to the sound of sirens and flashing red lights. He was scared as he couldn't remember how he got there. In fact, he didn't remember anything. But there was a lot of information in his brain about things he had no idea how he knew.

He found himself with his wrists and ankles strapped to a metal gurney. When he struggled to free himself, the locks broke too easily.

He is surprised by this, but does not complain and gets off the stretcher. But then a holographic screen appears in front of him.

???: What is that?

he wonders. Soon trying to touch the screen, but his hand just crosses the screen.

???: Does...

He said to himself, soon thinking Yes. Working this time. With a new screen taking the place of the previous one.

Alex: {So my name is Alex Cooper. It's a beginning.}

Then another screen came up.

[Now to open the Inventory tab, just think "Inventory".]

Alex: {Inventory.}

Alex: {What is this?}

He soon removes the Pen Drive from the Inventory, seeing that it was black, it was a Pen Drive, apparently, common.

But Alex felt that he was not that ordinary.

He then keeps the Pen Drive in his Inventory, and soon after finds a suit inside a large glass cylinder, with it having a circular shield in its right hand.

Knowing that he would not be able to leave dressed as he was now, he opens the cylinder and puts on the suit and wields the shield, which was very light.

Alex: {That's pretty light.}

Soon several armed men, wearing identical costumes, enter the room. And soon one of them notices Alex and points his gun at him.

Man 1: Stop there!

Alex turns to the men, feeling oddly calm. But because he turned too quickly, the men fired at him. And Alex, by reflex, protected himself with the shield, which deflected the shots, which were of energy, throughout the room. With some of them having been deflected back towards those who fired.

Alex soon notices what happened and is surprised and excited. He soon charges at the remaining men, hitting them with punches and kicks, sending them flying across the room, unconscious.

When he had dealt with all of them, he received a message from the System. A Quest.

[QUEST NOTICE]

[Escape]

[Main Objective: Escape the facility.]

[Rewards: 500.000 EXP, 500.000$.]

[Secondary Objective: Obtain a copy of the data from the Central Server.]

[Rewards: EXP/$ tripled.]

Soon a map appeared on a screen in front of him. With a red and a blue dot marked in different places. The Main Objective and the Secondary Objective, respectively.

Alex considered whether he should complete the Secondary Objective as he wanted to get the hell out of this place as soon as possible. But then a thought crossed his mind.

Alex: {This might help me figure out who I am.}

So he made his way to the Central Server's room, with the same defeating everyone who came in his way to stop him.

But when he arrived in front of the Central Server room, he found it having a password lock and fingerprint reader.

Alex: {What now? How am I going to enter?}

He thinks leaning against the door, when he becomes intangible and goes through it completely.

Alex: That's right. I can do this.

He said to himself, feeling embarrassed for forgetting something like that. He then went to the Central Server computer, took his Inventory Pen Drive and plugged it into one of the available USB ports. He soon started copying all the files. Taking no more than 5 seconds. Alex soon removes the Pen Drive from the computer and puts it back in his Inventory.

Alex: {It didn't take as long as I thought.}

He then became intangible again and went through the door again, facing yet another group of armed men. With all of them soon pointing their guns at them.

Alex: {Damn it.}

He then felt his body covered by something metallic. But due to his distraction, he was hit by a bullet in the shoulder. But he didn't even move, or feel the shot. And that took both Alex and the men by surprise.

Alex looks down at his hands and feels a little stronger than before. Soon after he turns his gaze to the armed men in front of him. And after a few minutes, he was surrounded by the unconscious bodies of the armed men.

Alex: {Fine. Let's get out of here.}

He said, soon running in a direction he knew was the right one, because of the Map. With the same knocking out everyone who came in his way.

It was then that he arrives at a huge door in the shape of a circle, with a red and black symbol right in the center of it.

Alex: {Why do I feel like I've seen this symbol before?}

He is soon surrounded by several soldiers. With some using green tech armor.

Alex: This just got more complicated.

He said, but still he went into combat. And it was a real one-sided massacre. The reason? Alex quickly took care of all the enemies.

Now, he just needed to open the huge door, and he would be free.

Alex: Very well. Time to reach freedom.

He said, soon his right fist was surrounded by bio-electricity, in red color, and he threw a punch with all his strength against the huge door. With that he destroyed the huge door, thus allowing him to escape without any problems.

Time Skip - Hours Later

One of the soldiers was brought before their leader, who was seated on an elevated throne.

???: Tell me what happened.

He said, with a noticeable German accent.

Soldier: We failed to contain the subject. And it looks like our database has been hacked by him. And now we are no longer having access to it.

He is then hit by an energy blast, which came out of the leader's hand. Which is revealed to be the Iron Skull.

Iron Skull: Call MODOK to solve the database problem. We must resume access as soon as possible. Otherwise our plan will be jeopardized in ways we can't even imagine.

He said getting up from his throne. Soon heading to their rooms. Where he analyzes the images of the escape, being intrigued by the powers demonstrated by Alex, when he invaded the database and when he destroyed the huge door of the installation.

Iron Skull: {Looks like the serum had some unexpected effects. But not unpleasant. When we recover it, we will have a powerful weapon against anyone who dares to get in our way.}
