It's now been a week since Alex's escape from the Hydra facility. And now he was living in a rather nice apartment in Queens.

And in that time, Edward managed to improve his skills a little and raise his Status, thanks to a Daily Quest he received after his escape. Just as he got better at his Martial Arts Skill, to enhance his combat style.

With this evolution in his Spider-Sense, he was able to see a brief glimpse of the future, allowing him to discover what threat lies ahead. Just like now he can see other beings through the walls, as if it were some kind of echolocation.

He also developed some equipment to aid him during combat.

And he also took the opportunity to study the composition of his costume. Having discovered that it was made using a splice of highly resistant fibres. Making it virtually bulletproof. Just as he had a system integrated into the suit, giving him: a greater range of vision, x-ray vision, thermal vision, among other functions.

Just as he discovered that his shield was made using the mixture of four special alloys. They are: Vibranium, Adamantium, Uru and Nth Metal. With Uru being an enchanted metal, it allows the shield to be retrieved without any problems by its user. And with Nth Metal being an alien metal with special properties still unknown, but very powerful, without a doubt.

But now Alex was swinging through New York. Enjoying his own freedom. When he hears the sound of several sirens. And soon after the sound of much destruction. Soon some Daily Bugle helicopters fly overhead towards the source of the confusion.

Alex: {What was that?}

He thinks, soon starting to swing through the buildings, approaching the place of confusion, which was the port of New York. When he arrives, he sees four large, muscular men causing trouble for the authorities present. These men were: Bulldozer, Thunderball, Piledriver and Wrecker. Or as they are known: The Wrecking Crew.

Alex: {Looks like they need help.}

It was then that he receives a new System Quest.

[QUEST NOTICE]

[Demolition Gang]

[Main Objective: Stop the Wrecking Crew members.]

[Rewards: 1.500.000 EXP and 1.500.000$.]

Alex: {As if I needed any more reason to take care of these guys.}

He soon descended from the crane he was on, and as he fell he threw his shield at the Piledriver, making him stagger back a few steps. This also served to get everyone's attention.

Wrecker: Shit! It is Captain... America?

He said, soon seeing Alex, with his shield back in his hand.

Alex: I recommend that you stop and surrender. Otherwise, the situation will get really bad.

He said. But all the four supervillains did... was laugh.

Wrecker: Who do you think you are? Some kind of hero?

Alex: I'm not a hero. I'm just someone wanting to do the right thing.

He said, soon shooting a web into the Wrecker's eyes, blinding him long enough for Alex to get in front of him.

He then feels his Spider-Sense beeping. He then becomes intangible, as a wrecking ball passes through him, courtesy of Thunderball, hitting Wrecker in the chest. Making him be sent a few meters back.

Alex then turns towards the Piledriver and delivers a punch coated with his Venom Discharge, which he called Venom Punch, sending the villain against a cargo container, leaving a large dent in it, as well as leaving the villain bewildered.

Alex: {Two already gone.}

He then feels his Spider-Sense beep again, and then teleports to another location. With that avoiding being hit by the wrecking ball of the Thunderball. Who picks up his wrecking ball and asks:

Thunderball: Where did he go?

He then starts to look around, along with the Bulldozer, for Alex. When he reappears right behind him, charging a powerful Venom Punch. Soon unleashing it on the back of Thunderball, sending it against Piledriver, thus fainting the two.

Alex then turned to the Bulldozer and said:

Alex: Now all that's missing is you.

Bulldozer: *Angry* You're gone, you brat!

He said, then lunging full force at Alex. But he wouldn't stand still and let himself be hit.

He ran towards the villain, who was advancing with everything, and slipped under him. Soon shooting a web at one of his feets and pulling with everything, making him stumble and face the ground. If not for the helmet he had on his head. Alex then fired several, many webs at the fallen villain, pinning him to the ground.

Alex: You guys should have surrendered when you had the chance.

He said, soon shooting a web and swinging away. Leaving all officials and spectators impressed with his performance.

And that was Alex Cooper's debut in the world of heroes.
