Inside of the Maverick Hunter HQ

X, a young looking, brunette reploid, sleeping inside his capsule peacefully. Smiling as he think of ways to enjoy the peace without Sigma ruining it. After defeating Lumine, who told them Sigma wouldn't come back ever again, the trio can finally rest easy, knowing they somewhat achieve peace. Something that they been fighting for years and years, including losing so many lives... including-
"AAAHHHHH!!!"

X suddenly wakes up and groans. He press the blue button next to him, which opens up the capsule and gets off from it. He takes a deep sigh and goes out of his bedroom to head to his next door neighbour and best friend, Zero. He knocks on the door, which his blonde haired friend opens up with a minor bruise on his forehead.
"That nightmare again?" X asked with his eyebrow raise and cross his arms.

"Yes..." Zero admitted embarrassingly with a tint of blush on his cheeks.

"... Zero... I know you missed her so much," X understood, "Trust me, I seen so many lives die in those bloody wars, but you can't just cling to the past. It's unhealthy, you know?"

"Yes. I heard that lecture a million times, X!" Zero complained. "But no matter what I do... that memory always, ALWAYS comes back to haunt me! I just can't..."

X looks down at his arms, where he notices he's holding a certain, pink diary that he knew it belongs to. X takes a deep breath and says,
"... That's Iris' diary..."

"... Yeah..." Zero admitted as he clings to his diary a bit.

"... Zero, I missed her too," X admitted to him, "I thought of her like a little sister I always wanted, even if we don't talk a lot during the Repliforce war, but I enjoyed those small moments."

"..." Zero frowned a bit and looks on the verge of tears, "I... I just can't... I... Iris... after I killed her... she... and her brother... she... wouldn't forgive me..."

"Zero, you know she would forgive you," X tried to cheer up his best friend, "I'm sure, in the afterlife, she forgives you and still loves you with all of her heart."

"No... you're just saying that to cheer me up!" Zero scowled in anger.

"Zero... I-"

Suddenly, an very loud alarm sound and the entire base is coloured red happened. X and Zero looks at each other and nod as they rush back to their rooms to put on their armours.

An hour later, the blue bomber and the red swordsman rushes to the navigator room, along with a certain black-armoured gunslinger.
"Alia! What's going on?!" X called out.

"There's a strange phenomenon happening around the city!" Alia, the blonde haired reploid told them. "We gonna need you guys to investigate what's going on!"

"Not only that," Pallette, the blonde young looking reploid said, "This phenomenon is like its merging with other worlds, since those areas have drastically, yet similar signals to them."

"I have also multiple life forms attacking the city," Layer, the purple haired woman explained as she shows a screen of multiple red dots appearing, "There are also some life forms fighting those attackers; a couple of them happened to be humans, but others I can't identify."

"Thank you, Layer," Zero thanked her, which makes her blush a bit. "Now, we need to split up in order to cover more grounds."

"Agreed," X agreed with him. "I'll look around the centre. Zero, you go to the west and Axl, you go the east!"

"On it!"

"Piece of cake!" Axl cheered as he readies his duel guns, "Let's kick those bad guys' asses!"

"Hell yeah!" Zero agreed as he readies his Z-saber.

"Let's move it, than!" X commanded.

"Be careful, you three," Signas told them.

"We will, Commander!" X ensured him as the three salutes to him.

"In that case, go investigate what's going on and come back alive!" Signas told them, "That's an order!"

"Yes Commander Signas!"

The trio rushes to the teleporter and teleport out to different areas.
"Navigators! I want you three to support our hunters," Signas told the girls, "Alia, you support X. Pallette, you support Axl and Layer, you support Zero."

"Yes sir!" The girls saluted as they start doing their work.

"Now... what on Earth is going on?!" Signas thought, "It's like it's merging with other worlds or something, but that's impossible... right?"

A/N - "You didn't hesitate to jump on the wagon, didn't you?" Deadpool asked me.
"Of course not," I replied. "I like jumping onto the action. Also, yes, Deadpool will be my co host of sort."
"Yep! I may not be in this story," Deadpool said dramatically, "But I will forever be in your heads!"
"Yeah... anyways, I hope you guys enjoyed this part and-"
"YOU BETTER FUCKING COMMENT OR ELSE I'LL GO CRAZY!!!" Deadpool screamed. "At least, crazier that usual..."

I hit him with a metal bat and says, "Ignore him, just I hope you have a good day. Aqua and Deadpool out!" Than, I drag Deadpool out of here.
