At the Knowmoon Watchtower...

Thanos: *voiceover* "The Stone of Power lies at the heart of the space station Knowmoon."

In a hidden control room, the team of Captain Marvel, Rocket, Groot, X, Nova, Hiryu and Gamora were with Sub-Zero, Kitana, Jade, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Starfire and Catwoman.

Captain Marvel: "We've been able to identify its precise location -- here, within the station's Gravitron Core."

Nova: "Knowmoon's defenses won't be easily breached. We'll need a diversion."

Catwoman: "What kind of a diversion, darling?"

Nova: "Um... *shrugs* I don't know. Anything, I guess."

Rocket: *taps X's arm* "So do you take, like, regular batteries?"

Mega Man X: "Shh."

Strider: "And what of Grandmaster Meio?"

Wonder Woman: "Engage him only as a resort. Our priority is that Stone -- understood?" *Hiryu acknowledged much to his dismay*

Rocket: *taps X's arm* "Looks like it could really do some damage. What's the biggest thing you ever killed with that bad boy?"

Groot: "to Rocket* "I am Groot."

Rocket: "What? I'm curious."

Starfire: "Friend Rocket! Are you listening?"

Rocket: "Yeah, yeah -- crash Knowmoon, find the core, nab the Power Stone -- BOOM! Home in time for cocktails."

Green Lantern: "Huh! That's actually pretty good."

Gamora: *see's Strider preparing to leave* "Going somewhere?"

Strider: "I'm going after the Grandmaster."

Kitana: "By yourself? The Cyber Lin Kuei are guarding him. You can't take them all alone."

Gamora: "Which is why you, me and Jade will be aiding with Strider."

Jade: "Fine by me."

Strider: "Major Danvers! *Capt. Marvel and Nova looks at him* You'll have your diversion -- make it count." *uses his varja to wrap himself, Gamora, Kitana and Jade away*

Nova: "No, wait!"

Captain Marvel: "Ninjas."

On the main platform of Knowmoon, the four assassins appeared and swiftly killed The Cyber Lin Kuei minions.

Jade: "This man -- Grandmaster Meio -- who is he to you?"

Strider: "He is no man, he is the Lord of Darkness-- capable of corrupting life itself, reshaping it to his own twisted desire."

Kitana: "It seems you know him well."

Strider: "I have thought the Grandmaster for a thousand years, dying a thousand deaths, as if my fate is forever bound to his."

Gamora: "But this time you will not face him alone."

Then they heard walking nearby as the assassins turns around and see's Black Adam approaching.

Black Adam: "The Grandmaster has assigned me to kill Strider and his foolish friends. But this is far more interesting."

Kitana: *looks at Hiryu and Gamora* "Go on. Me and Jade will take care of him."

Hiryu: "You two have my thanks." *runs off, alongside Gamora*

Black Adam: "You two would prevent me from killing Strider? Why is that?"

Jade: "Simple... he has his business... and we have ours. *takes out her Triblade* Like our friends are busy saving our worlds."

Black Adam: "You think you two mortals can defeat me? *electricity surrounds all over his body* Think again."

With that, they both charged at each other and begins they fight.

Meanwhile with the main team, they heard the explosions as they moved.

Captain Marvel: "Strider..."

Nova: "He's a man of his word."

Rocket: *see's someone approaching* "Huh? Hey, who's the action figure...?"

Mega Man X: *went next to Rocket and see's a newcomer* "Zero?"

Zero: *arrives* "Zero? No... I am... Oblivion."

Mega Man X: "His core routines have been rewritten by the Grandmaster."

Rocket: *to Major, Nova and Green Lantern* "You three, get to the core. We got this. Go!"

Green Lantern: "Be careful." *went ahead, alongside Denvers and Nova*

Catwoman: "So what's the plan to get Zero back to normal, boys?"

Rocket: "Well it's like Einstein always says. If something's broken... hit it till it works!"

Groot: "I am Groot."

Zero: "For the sake of the Grandmaster... you all must die! *draws his sword.* Hadangeki!" *sent a wave out from his sword as they dodged*

X: "You won't be serving him as long as I am around!" *firing his blaster as the wave was cancelled*

Catwoman: *tries to tackle him with her claws but Zero evaded* "Damn! He's too fast to catch."

X: "Yes. But don't forget, I'm just as fast! *dashing in the air as he collided with Zero* Take this hit and come to your senses, Zero! Ultimate Armor, equip!*charging into Zero with his most powerful armor. Ultimate...STRIKE!" *launch Zero into the air and blasting him with a powerful shot with his Ultimate armor enhanced Buster*

Zero: "Gaaaaaah!" *he was sent flying onto his back, the purple in his eyes fading*

Zero: *gets up with a help from X* "X...? X -- what happened?"

Rocket: "You tried to kill us. But no hard feelings, huh?"

Catwoman: "Yeah, what he said."

Wonder Woman: *offscreen* "Lex?!"

The scene switches as Sub-Zero, Wonder Woman and Starfire encounters Lex Luthor, in his Power Suit.

Lex Luthor: "I gotta admit. I kinda expected that you've made it this far. But, this game is over! You cannot defeat me! Say hello to my Masterpiece!" *presses the button*

When he pressed it, the capsule full of water levels low as Wonder Woman and Starfire see's a familiar creature inside and the creature breaks free, revealed to be Superman's unstoppable foe, Doomsday.

Doomsday: "Who are you? Nobody gives me instructions. I shall destroy everything."

Doomsday then charges up his fire on his fist and shoots it at Lex Luthor, killing him until his last dying breath.

Lex Luthor: "What happened? Why don't you follow my instructions?" *goes limb and died*

Doomsday roars loudly, turns around, seeing Planet Earth and then takes off, going to Earth.

Starfire: "He's getting away!"

Wonder Woman: "Leave him! Superman will take care of him. *looks at the Earth, worrying* I hope."

Back to Kitana and Jade, they have defeated Black Adam as he held his shoulder and gets up. Black Adam then see's Doomsday heading to Earth. Adam smirks at the two girls and floats up before going after Doomsday to get to Earth. Kitana and Jade were about to stop him but Wonder Woman and Starfire stops them and told them to let them go for now. Kitana and Jade nodded and continued they way to retrieve the Power Stone from Grandmaster Meio.

With Captain Marvel, Nova and Green Lantern, they approached the halfway point to the core when Meio himself has appeared, alongside Noob Saibot and Sinestro at his side.

Grandmaster Meio: "Hehehahaha... Come, bear witness to the death of your world. The virus shall remake the Earth in Ultron Sigma's image... *The Cyber Lin Kuei surrounds the three heroes as they gets in their fighting stance* The Cyber Lin Kuei shall destroy any who resist."

Sinestro: *to Green Lantern* "Seems like Hal Jordon has returned to meet his demise. *to Noob* Care to join in, Noob?"

Noob: "Hmph. I'll pass. I'm only here to fight Sub-Zero, not his foolish friends. *see's Sub-Zero approaching* And it seems that he's here at last. *calls out* Cyrax! Sektor! *Cyrax and Sektor arrives behind him* Take care of Sub-Zero."

Cyrax and Sektor nods as they leaps off and Sub-Zero spots them, approaching and begins to fight them. Sinestro's yellow aura surrounds him as he charges Green Lantern and tackles him in the air*

Grandmaster Meio: "Ultron Sigma believes we are making a perfect universe. I am merely content to see your kind suffer."

Captain Marvel and Nova begins to fight against six Cyber Lin Kuei while Grandmaster Meio and Noob watched, unsatisfied by the Lin Kuei's failure to kill the heroes.

Hiryu: *offscreen* "Grandmaster Meio."

Grandmaster Meio: *see's Strider arriving, alongside Gamora* "Strider Hiryu... Noble to the last."

Strider: "I merely wanted you to know who it was that ended your existence."

Grandmaster Meio: "You forget, Strider, death has no dominion over me!"

Grandmaster Meio fires his blast at Hiryu and Gamora but they leaps outta the way before the two of them slashed through the Grandmaster, killing him as they landed.

Gamora: "Yet still you die."

Strider: "You have my thanks."

Gamora: "Those words must feel strange on your tongue."

Sub-Zero defeated Cyrax and Sektor as he begins to reboots Cyrax's memories as he wakes up and gets up by the help of Sub-Zero and he looks at his hands.

Cyrax: "No. He ripped out my heart. Made me a machine."

Sub-Zero: "Your soul is intact, Cyrax. Trust me, I speak from experience."

Cyrax: "Kuai Liang, is that you? You look so old."

At the distance, while Sub-Zero and Cyrax having a reunion, Noob was unsatisfied that Cyrax is back to normal and didn't kill Sub-Zero. Then he takes his leave by using his teleportation to go to Planet Earth to report Jedah or Quan Chi about the Grandmaster's failure and Cyrax's retrieved his memories. After that, Green Lantern has defeated Sinestro as he joins back to the group.

The group then moved towards the generator.

Mega Man X: "It looks so.. insignificant."

Nova: "Don't be deceived by its appearance. The Stone is a source of unimaginable power."

Rocket: "Oh, Power Stone! The name makes sense, now you explained it like that."

Wonder Woman: "X, take the Stone."

Mega Man X: "I-I don't know... Do I have to wield its power...? Am I --"

Rocket: "Got it. *the group turns around to see him holding the Power Stone* Let's go. *the station starts to shake* Uh-oh!"

Computer: "Neogenesis Protocol Initiated. Sigma Virus ready for deployment. Purging core."

Captain Marvel: "X? What's going on? What is it?"

Mega Man X: "The Gravitation Core -- I-It's a weapon. It's payload... The Sigma Virus and The Kombat Rage. The target... Earth."
