Tony couldn't help but stand in the doorway of the common room for a moment. (Y/n) was smiling; hell, even old Frosty was smiling, as the trio sat together. It obvious from this, and the fact that the common room had not been destroyed, that Steve, nor Bucky, had mentioned anything about his involvement with the death of Howard. With the death of the man that the immortal had once agreed to marry. Tony not really wanting to know what (Y/n) might do, if she found out about Barnes' involvement.

He had of course already noticed it; but at this moment, as she smiled and laughed with the two old soldiers, the immortal appeared even more beautiful than she had before. Even more beautiful than when she had been introduced. Even more beautiful than when they had had dinner. It appearing that being with the two old soldiers, agreed with her. The billionaire finding himself feeling a little jealous, as he continued to watch the trio.

"Ahem............" He finally coughed, catching the attention of the three. Steve quickly getting to his feet, as the billionaire made his way into the room.

"I..................."

"(Y/n) isn't leaving............." The captain simply stated, before Tony could say anything more. Bucky staying by the immortal's side; choosing to let Steve deal with this.

"She has told us everything. Explained about why she didn't tell us the truth to begin with; and we are not going to allow you to send her away." Steve continued, crossing his arms and just look at the man in front of him.

It was obvious from the crates, that until she spoke to Steve, (Y/n) had had every intention of leaving the compound. And Tony could understand why she would think that he wanted her to leave. He had walked out on her without a word; she had opened up to him, confessed what she was, about her past, and he had just left. Though, in his defence, it had been a lot to take in. It not every day that you not only meet someone that had seen woolly mammoths walking the land; but had also been engaged to his own father. Tony believing that his reaction, wasn't completely unjustified. That the feelings that he had felt, whatever they had been, that part still confusing him, had not been ridiculous. But no matter what, he didn't want her to leave.

"Is that right, Rogers............?" Tony replied, as he crossed his own arms. He and the captain just looking at one another.

"Steve, please............." (Y/n) interrupted, as she got to her feet, and made her way over to the captain.

"This is Tony's compound, and if he doesn't want me here, then I am not staying. I have already packed my things, and Fury's people should be here soon................."

"But............." Steve began, Bucky coming to join him. The immortal slowly shaking her head.

"It is better that I move on. Start a new life again; but at least this time, I can stay in touch.............."

"I would like to talk to (Y/n) alone..............." The billionaire suddenly announced. The two old soldiers looking between the immortal and Tony; (Y/n) slowly nodding in agreement; smiling slightly, as Steve and Bucky made their way passed the billionaire. Both of them giving him a warning look, as they left the room.

"As I said, Fury's people will be here soon, and when I leave, you won't have to worry about seeing or hearing from me again............."

"You aren't going anywhere..............."

"What.............? But I thought..............."

"Earlier, I had a conversation with............myself.........." Tony began, as he gestured for (Y/n) to come and sit down with him.

"And...........I don't want you to go. It is true that I was a little taken aback by what you said, especially about you and dad. But...........I don't want you to leave the compound; leave me...............I mean, the team......." The billionaire continued, as he reached across and took (Y/n)'s hand.

"I.............thank you, Tony. It's been a long time since I could just be me. A long time since I haven't had to pretend. Even during the war, it was only Erskine and your father that knew what I was. Not even Peggy was aware of my true nature.............."

"Yeah, dad said............"

"What..............?" (Y/n) quickly asked. Tony just as quickly trying to gloss over it, as he realised what he had just said.

"Nothing. I just..........you're staying, ok. You can tell the rest of the team about yourself when you feel ready; then you don't have to worry about not being yourself. But for now..............F.R.I.D.A.Y!"

"Yes boss.............?"

"Call the cyclopes; tell him that (Y/n) isn't going anywhere............." The billionaire called out, before he got to his feet and offered the immortal his arm.

"Now, why don't I help you unpack again. And after that, I know this great Mexican place. They have the best Tostadas that you have ever eaten.........." Tony continued, smiling at the two soldiers that had been standing outside waiting to see what would happen, before escorting the beautiful immortal, back to her rooms.
