"Everyone, switch opponents! Work as a team!" Spider-Woman climbs onto the side of the tower and yells to her fellow heroes. "Their plan is to separate and overwhelm us, but we can do it!"

Gladly, the Guardians team up with Trigger, Ms. Marvel, and the other spiders to take down the villains. They use their synergy to their advantage, and find it super easy to intimidate their opponents. There are no illusions, no brute force, and no tech that can overpower the might of the team.

Everyone helps each other out. Trigger calls out danger zones and keeps her distance from the fight, knowing she's more valuable to everyone if she stays back to observe everyone's movements. Ms. Marvel and Venom use their powers to make sure none of the villains are retreating. They all deserve a good smackdown. The spiders and the Guardians display their own power, and show the prisoners what they are capable of when they work together.

Spider-Man jumps on the tower next to his sister, a bit teary eyed at seeing all of his friends, new and old, working together to save the world. He puts his fingers up to his earpiece and says, "Rocket, we need one more hand up here. You think you can get him?"

"Your plan is very destructive. I like it!" Rocket uses his jetpack and flies away from the fight. No one questions him, knowing this is part of the plan.

Spider-Man takes Spider-Woman's hand and squeezes it. "We can take them both on, you and me."

"I know we can. Let's take down the flying one first so he doesn't reverse time." Spider-Woman jumps off the tower, still gripping tightly into Spider-Man's hand. The two arachnids web the bottom of the Green Goblin's hoverboard and climb up to stand on top of it.

"I'll take this, yoink!" Spider-Man shoots webbing at the Time Gem and pulls it into his own hand. "Shiny toys and Green Goblins never correlate."

"How did you know my plan, you irritating-" The Green Goblin is cut off by Spider-Woman's voice catching his attention.

"And I'll take this." Spider-Woman rips off the side of the Green Goblin's hovercraft and starts yanking out some wires. "This looks important!"

"RAAAHHH! Morris Bench!" Everyone looks up at a giant sand monster. Rocket the Raccoon stands on Sandman's shoulder and then hops off once he reaches the helipad.

"Go away!" Hydro-Man breaks away from attacking the Guardians and the spiders, and faces his ultimate foe for the second time that day. "This isn't part of the Goblin's plan!"

"Of course it isn't. It's part of our plan!" Rocket points his thumbs at his chest and backs away from the sand-water fight. He lets those two duke it out and runs back to join his own team.

The Green Goblin crashes onto the ground, his hoverboard completely shut down. Spider-Woman crashes into Doctor Octopus, knocking him back and crushing his metal arms. As Spider-Man falls, the Time Gem slips out of his hands. "No!"

The Gem lands in the middle of the helipad and everyone freezes, noticing it. All at once, the heroes and villains make a dive for the Gem, but the artifact reacts and everyone collapses. When their eyes are open, they all see a black void that slowly fills with bodies when they look upward. Standing above the bodies is Thanos with the Infinity Gauntlet, all of the Infinity Gems glowing on his fist. The Black Order's silhouettes fade into view behind the Mad Titan, and Thanos says, "I will be waiting here for you."

Everyone is brought back into the present and they all look around in a daze. Spider-Man manages to get up and helps Sandman stand as well. The earth elemental nods and brings all the unconscious prisoners back into their cells, giving the Enforcers one as well to make sure everyone stays put this time. The heroes all wake up after a few moments and groan when they feel small headaches form in their heads.

"What the heck was all that?" Adrena can't tell if her eyes are focusing on the world around her or fading back out.

"It seemed like what happens when I see the near future, but way more intense." Trigger rakes her hands through her hair to try and stop the growing pain.

Star-Lord picks up the Time Gem and smiles when he sees it's orange glow. "Hey, at least we got the Gem back! We all work pretty well as a team."

"Woah, do you think you should be handling it like that? Shouldn't we get, you know, gloves or something?" Ms. Marvel looks around her, trying to see if any of the other heroes agree with her concern.

"Don't worry, I got this. The Gems are harmless when someone doesn't have any intentions to use them," Star-Lord explains.

"No offense, but I'm not sure that your pocket is the best place to store it, Space Bro." Ghost-Spider jokingly says, but she meant every word of it.

"That's funny." Star-Lord reaches into his zipper pocket and pulls out the purple Space Gem. "Because this one has been doing just fine in there."

"You're telling me that he had one of those Infinity Gems and he never bothered to use it?!" Power Man can't keep his jaw from staying open as he gawks at the sight of another Infinity Gem.

"Even from someone who uses them for good, the Infinity Gems are only meant to be used whenever it's truly needed." Gamora defends Quill's lack of action concerning the Space Gem. "Using the Gems may also attract unwanted attention, so we must be wise when we use them."

"It's just a good thing we didn't have to use the Time Gem at all, right?" Everyone agrees with Adrena's statement except for two spiders who only slightly nod and avert their eyes from anyone else's.

Star-Lord puts the Gems away and looks around at the heroes who are gathered. "There are four more Gems out there, each just as powerful as these, but in their own unique ways. Look, we didn't ask to be transported here and get in the middle of your fight, but it happened. Now this is our time. I could say this isn't you fight too, but you know I'd be lying. So let's join forces to find these Gems and put an end to this because I'm not going to let a tyrant like Thanos to-"

Ring! Ring! Ring! Ring!

"Oh come on! I only get to make speeches like that once, twice a year tops!" Star-Lord starts to throw a fit, and Adrena and Rocket let a small laugh slip through their throats.

"Sorry, I gotta take this. It's my wife." Luke holds out his phone to show everyone he's getting a call from a woman named Jessica Jones. He answers it and awkwardly brings it up to his ear. "Hey, Jess, look this isn't the best time... yeah I know, but... Danny and Matt can handle it... really? We'll be right there."

Luke hangs up and Quill sighs in annoyance. "Finally, now, can we get back to it?"

"We better." Power Man puts his phone back in his pocket, his tone and expression completely serious. "Because my girl just found another one of your Infinity Gems."
